You just made my design possible 💗 thank you!
This is lovely for a ramp like curved faced building with incremental height. The best part is option of reversing the direction of curves height increment.

Currently using this to define accelerator arcs for a mass driver, thanks.
thank you so much.. this was gold

Thanks Justin, this video has been an absolute blessing. I have a question however, how can you use this technique to shear into an object, as in to create a curved indentation into an object?? Been trying all day and I can’t seem to find a solution. Cheers
Great. Great video❤️❤️❤️
Thanks - glad you liked it!
hey, thank you so much for this, though one question: can this tool create ramps out of faces or is it just for edges?
Thank you!!!
THANKS A LOT!!!!
hey, thank you so much
Hi, Justin thanks for the tutorial. Im having a problem with modeling out u shape ramp. So it starts with a straight ramp and has a u-turn also continuously sloping up. May I know the solution for this? So u shape ramp is continuously ramping up. Thank you
THANK YOU!
WOW great job.. thanks
Glad you liked it!
sry for the noob question, but what's defined as curves? i tried using curvishear on a series of lines that line up as a curve but it's not recognised as a curve.

Hi there :)
Love your channel, its super helpful!
How do we create a curved ramp to be at a certain gradient? For example, in my country, a ramp gradient thats friendly for wheelchairs is 1:12. How can I create a ramp that implements this gradient? Is there a way?
good stuff !
Thanks James!
may i Ask why the curve shear doesn't work like in the video
its appears that each curve extruded as a different curve
Hey can you tell me how can i divide my ramp surface into 3 surfaces..?
Thanks alottt

HI there, thanks for your great tutorials.. I have followed the links and can't seem to find curvishear. Aside from Sketchucation and Extension warehouse is there another place I can download this tool for skp Pro 2021?
Link works fine for me - goes directly to Fredo Tools
Does it work with straight lines?
Hey i had a thought about how can we paste these ramps on contours using sandbox..... any ideas?
I don't understand - wouldn't you just...paste them?
is it not available on sketchup??
Please help me can't download on website sketchupucation . "Log in problem" every time with me
Hey i need help. So i got the required plug-ins. But idk why but curviloft doesn't respond when clicked. What do i do now?

Please one tutorial for sketchucation how downloading plugin and create account.
why is Curvishear not on sketchucation anymore ?
does anyone knows why the curvishear tool doesn't select the full curve it was working well at first then it started to select only a small sector of the curve
maybe you can try welding the curve first
its not working for me T.T can anyone help?
Can anyone help the curvishear is not working for me suddenly
so what is the use of lib fredo in this video ...
Without Lib Fredo Curviloft will give you an error and not run
Okay thank you so much❤️
Take line.....enter 4.10' and hit enter ....take other with length 4.11' hit enter
They are not 1 inch difference....can you tell me why.
Because that's not how inches work....For inches, 4'1" would be 4.08, and 4'2" would be 4.17. .01 does not equal an inch...
@@Thesketchupessentials thank you.....but now I want a line with 4'10"......what value(in feet) I should enter in the measurements box
4'10"
Hi
I watch your every video. Kindly tell me how i can use vray . And how i install vray free . Without fee . Not trial version
There's no such thing as Vray Free
Dood you own Sketchup University far as Im concerned.
Hlo sir...
I have a problem... please can you solve this
Yeah, I have an older version of Sketchup. It won't let you download ANYTHING from the extension warehouse unless you update "for scurity purposes." What buII$hit. Then if you go direct to these web sites you hit a paywall. BuII$hit again. Now make another video on how to do this without extensions.
You shouldn't have to use the SketchUp extension warehouse - that's not where these are hosted. And SketchUcation has free access, so there's no paywall there. That said, Curviloft has since been made a paid extension by the developer - that's his choice and I can't change that
@@Thesketchupessentials Well, Sandbox is hosted there and my other useful things. AND there's a way to do this with no app that takes two seconds. This video just over complicates things. ALL you have to do is take a curve and pull it up. then select one vertical end of it then select RESIZE TOOL and bring it down. Done.
it is very useful for landscape architecture thanks
Thanks for watching!
@@Thesketchupessentials hi what do you think about d5 render(ı think it is free realtime render engine) ua-cam.com/video/NuB_paFVgeg/v-deo.html
Haven't been able to get it downloaded yet - hopefully I can get to somewhere with better internet this weekend
thank you
You're welcome!
