Thanks so much. You really come in handy. I have a situation here. When joined 2 frames, I don't have any issue. When I connect more than 2, I will have some of the faces reversing and each edge forms a double wall instead of one. What am I doing wrong. I can't sleep because of this. I did all I could.

My curviloft is not working (SU2022), please help me, Install the latest fredo library and a new version of curviloft, there are icons but nothing happens when you click on them
I am trying to draw up a aluminum bud light can for a project. I have made my sections out of circles that match the bottle. I try to skin it and for some reason the tapers in skp don't match the real life bottle. can you go into more depth of how to make something like an aluminum bud light bottle?
hi there, my curviloft has only showed 3 buttons, but after I loft by spline it, those (black) detail changes (angles, curves, denser geometry) aren't showing.
Sir I need a big help.......when u use curviloft the object becomes whole...... without any edges.....how to retain edges while using solid curviloft......
Sometimes curviloft softens edges too much which I think is what you’re describing. As Justinsays, the edges are all still there. You can tweak the slider in the soften/smooth window and get them to display again. Hope this helps.
I can't seem to get Curviloft operating on SketchUp 2016. It is installed, but it says to operate - I need to update LibFredo6 to a version 86 or above. I have LibFredo version 69. When I go to update LibFredo6, it says I need SketchUp version 2017 and newer.. Curviloft 1.8a indicated that it would work on SketchUp 2016. Any suggestions?
@@Thesketchupessentials Thanks for getting back. Not sure what I did, but it seems to work now. I restarted SketchUp once and it did not work. Restarted it a second time and Curviloft is there. Drawing organic chair parts. If they are simple, I can keep them solid. They aren't simple so I have to clean them up. Takes time. Still learning. Your videos sure help!

My curviloft generates weird spikes along hte helix but no big deal. Great tutorial. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Oscar - did you divide your line into the same number of segments as your helix has? That's how I was able to avoid this. Thanks!

I believe you set it in the Helix Along Curve settings...
You can check it on entity info after selecting the curve

can curviloft works like follow me tool..? so it can following path ?
The second option in the curviloft menu allows you to loft a shape along a path, so that one is similar to the follow me tool. Does that help?

I don't understand - if it has faces, it has edges that make up the faces...

No idea - I'm not sure if there's a version around still that works with a 5 year old version of SketchUp
