Freeze Dried Food Ruined

It looks like A lot of my freeze dried food storage is ruined.
I believe it was because I used a food saver to make the seals on my Mylar bags. Mine was old at least 15-20 years. Mistakes were made but thy were caught and I'm moving foreword.
Its a big blow to my time and effort but fortunately not a really big financial one. So I'm moving forward and putting a lot of study and research. I have learned so much in the past few days.

Any commercially produced freeze dried food I've purchased had a moisture absorbent pad in them.
Changing out preps every other year including first aid and medication and water preps is a must.
