im looking for some help plz. I keep getting "more freeze time needed". It takes about 8 hours of the FD going on and off the freeze cycle before it finally starts to work like it should. I have contacted Harvest Right, I did the up date they gave me but still getting the same issue. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how did you fix it.

I freeze dried about 150lbs of tomatoes fall of '22, then ground them into powder and vac sealed with O2 in glass jars. Kept stored in a cool/dark area and unfortunately by the following summer, most of them had tuned yellow, and while not bad, the flavor just wasn't there anymore. Guess I just needed to use them faster, or maybe it was the type of tomato, dunno.

I did about 100 lbs last year, I won't be doing that many again, I got tomato powder, tomato soup, ketchup, bbq sauce coming out of my ears.

I grew too many and it's a lot of work processing and freeze drying that many tomatoes.

We freeze dry and can our summer garden produce. It feeds us all winter. I can't remember the last time we bought spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce/paste, juice, salsa, carrots, bell peppers, celery, onions, garlic, etc etc etc.
