When Michelle left, Emma joined the group. Geri was already a member at that point. Another fun fact is the "Arriba" at 11:39 is actually Victoria's vocal, most people assume it's Geri. 😊
Michelle didn't leave, she was kicked out of the band from their former managers in 1994 -edit- I do have feelings that ARIBAAA was actually Melanie C another -edit- Andale andale was actually Victoria. Those lines were taken from the Spanish cartoon character called SPEDDY GONZALES. I 'Ariba... Andale andale...' only people who were born in 1970's & 1980's would know that. Kids today, I don't think they would know, what exactly the reference was. Bless 'em...

Their music doesn't get enough credit for the production: they have so many tracks that are just brilliantly done, be it the vocals, instrumentals, or mixing.
michelle was replaced by emma who was recommended by pepe emma's vocal coach. the rest answered an ad in the paper "the stage". Geri did enter when there was like 10 left.
The most successful soloist has to be Mel C. Geri had a great debut but fizzled out after 3 years. Mel C has released 8 albums and her most recent peaked #8 in the UK. She's the only Spice who's still relevant in music to date.
At least Geri fulfilled her 3 record contract with EMI and wasn’t let go after 2 albums like Melanie C. Melanie was relevant only on her debut era, released a second album that tanked big time and Virgin Records said goodbye to her, so she went solo and in total irrelevance for years putting out independent albums. Her last record was somewhat of a hit because she released it during the reunion of the Spice Girls, same as Emma with her album “My Happy Place”, they saw an opportunity and took it. Geri still remains the only Spice Girl to have four solo #1 songs.
@@charliefual Mariah Carey was dropped by Virgin record after Charmbracelet flopped but still she's one of the best-selling female artists of all time. Mel C was dropped by Virgin after Reason failed to do more success than Northern Star but still, she's the best-selling Spice Girl. So what's your point? The last time Geri was relevant was in the early '00s. After her 3rd album flopped, she was forgotten unless she wore a union jack dress. She got #1s for getting all the media attention for leaving the group. Her career fizzled out because she couldn't tour due to poor ticket sales. Melanie however is the only Spice who still has a relevant music career. So yeah argue with the wall 🙅
@@musicislife.2602 relevant as in “doing 30 minute sets in festivals where she sings 3-4 Spice Girls songs” while wearing tracksuits to remember people she’s Sporty Spice. Even when she released her autobiography, she had to name it “The Sporty One” so people could remember her, because as “Melanie C” she could not make it. And you don’t insult the Union Jack dress, as it’s part of history in the pop culture thanks to Geri being bold enough to wear something she was told not to and then having the band in the front pages the next day, the damn leader of the gang ✌🏼🇬🇧

Can u do any Melanie C songs like Northern Star, Closer, Here It Comes Again or from her album Beautiful Intentions, her voice had problems in the past and she needed to adapt her skills to perform her older songs and keep bringing GREAT tracks nowdays.
Haha I know I know! There was a lot of input happening and I short circuited. And may have been thinking about redecorating with some tiny triangular flags sewn together into a banner… haha thanks for watching Shaun if you wanna hear me mess more details up the entire live stream is available in the description.
Soooooooo cool! This is such a powerful iconic track! Want more of that with other singles
Hai, sí, ja! = Yes in Japanese, Spanish and German. Basically they're really leaning into the whole "Spice World" global idea, as per the album title.
Sì is Italian too! 😉

Isn’t it mel b?
I think people assume it's Geri because her mother is Spanish and she speaks a little bit of Spanish
Nobody assumed it was Geri, everyone assumed it was Mel B.
