You’re almost correct - there is no real harmony here - they are actually singing in unison, but Geri’s voice is pretty distinct and the way that it’s mixed her voice easily dominates over Victoria’s
Why was Geri's & Victoria's vocals were layered? Why can't their voices be separated like Emma & Melanie B? Was it because they sang the verses at the same time in the studio?
Hahahahaa... She was in her character as Posh Spice. That's what she wants you to think in the first place. But look back to all their old photos; she smiled a lot just like the other four
They probably didn't blend well due to layering. That happens often. Sometimes a few members voices just really don't suit a specific part so they just have another member add a harmony. Usually happens in choruses
@@_spotlight_productions well if you listen closely... Victoria could have sang that layered vocals instead of layering Geri's. Oh well, what do I know, I just listen to their stuff.
@@charlesmusicroom yeah definitely could've. That's why I said sometimes. Idk what happened in the production room during this song for them not make Vicky be in the verses
3:30 Mel B was like "I ain't doing that"
Such beautiful harmonies! Mel C always had the best voice. I’m so glad she’s still doing great music.
Geri's Height: 5'1
Mel C's Height: 5'6
Victoria's Height: 5'4
Emma's Height: 5'2
Mel B's Height: 5'5
Mel B does lows, mids and seems like she can do highs too if she wants
0:50 are you sure this stem is Geri and Victoria's? I can only hear Geri. There's the lead harmony and a lower harmony which sound like Geri to me.
definitly Victoria.. she tends to do the lower notes. As much as we love Geri, girl just isn't the most versatile with her notes
Yes, it is a confirmed Victoria
Wait where was it confirmed?
@@_spotlight_productionsyou could hear her. Victoria’s voice is very distinctive

I think that stem is only geri now but just doubled (idk why that stem was layered
@@_spotlight_productions its Geri and Vicki

@@_spotlight_productions I can try to help you if u want
Why Victoria (idk if this is her name :/) look so serious all the time in this photo shoot
Lol idk either
Cause she’s the posh one she supposed to be
Its her style
Because she's Posh Spice....shes smiling inside

Thats not Geri and Victoria together. Its only Geri with layered vocals, shes harmonising with herself.
This is an old video
Mel C went full flamingo bird there 3:34
DOCTOR WHO
So Melanie C never sung on the verses?!?!?
Victoria 💜
Geri ❤️
Emma 💖
Mel B 💚
Mel C 💛
Wow. This song is actually much more intricate than I thought. I sorta thought it was just them shouting and cheering the whole time. This is rad!
The girls’ voices have been layered.
Can you separate the ‘La la Laa la la la la laa laaaa’ harmonies? I’d love to know which line each girl is singing.
I can try
Why Geri's vocals layered during the verse? They couldn't give that to Victoria or Mel C?
