Never have I watched such a humble and true Gentleman, I watch your video's in awe, you are such a hard working guy with a heart of solid Gold - Thank you Jason Dean
Wow thank you Dean. Sometimes I stop and ask myself how I got to this point. Ive been in this such a long time and for me the friendships made along the way are the greatest reward. For almost 20 years now I've been grinding away at this vintage sensation and it's crazy to even think how long it's been.
Yeah the Cougar 2 looks awesome (and yours are off the chart 😮). Hopefully we'll see a rere from Schumacher one day. For sure you are busy these days 😊 Thanks for sharing 🤝
Thanks Keith.. it's a shame there aren't more of these parts more readily available. Great cars and I am certain Schumacher must have this slated for a future release
Wow Great looking vintage schumacher buggies there dude😙, i love the colour schemes👍. Ive probably commented before about me having a schumacher topcat in the 90s, but damn i wish i kept the thing😟 british racing green body😙 and my brother who was older had metalic pink body😂😂😂 i still rip him now lol👍👍
Great stuff Jason. I agree the Cougar 2 Team was and is just awesome. The roller driveshafts 🤤, I remember seeing one of them at St Ives when they were first released, it was the quietest car I’ve ever seen to this day! Really interested in all the cougars and how they differ from each other, especially their driving characteristics.
@@Bormac073 Don't,,, seriously?!?!?! Awweee mannnn, I loved that place, started there with my Frog in the 80's,, Bummer, i had hoped to drive it with a bunch of cars on my next trip home.
@@Bormac073 my pleasure, my fave cars the cougar, just on with restoring one myself, its just the base model. But really need to get my works rebuilt, thats the god of cougar 2’s in my eyes. And the last 2wd rc car i had before real cars took over.
Yes I can see what you mean by that. Its one of my sons gaming chairs as they don't use them now and my old chair was ready to make it's way to the tip.
Always admired the Schumacher product line. However, from a distance. Those two examples on your bench there are very nice. Which variation used the purple chassis?
On the big jobs. Someone's got to do it. I best get down to castle hill to check out the action one day Its only a hour or so away. Are there any tracks on the central coast or are they all in sydney?
There won't be any more vintage events held at Castle Hill now for at least the next 2 years. Sadly you've missed all the fun as future events are being moved to St Ives and that track is all carpet now.
@@Bormac073 I thought maybe you knew about Schumacher RC car in general. That is okay. It does look like this car has been discontinued . Not sure why? Thank you
@@alfredyost7972 my interest and knowledge is varied between all the manufacturers within the 1970s-2000's of 1/10 electric off road. Outside of that I see things but don't learn too much about them.
In the last 9 days I have truly invested myself and produced 5 video uploads and 3 of those were all track action. Just seems weird that when I post a couple of videos from my work shop that there's no comment about the story behind my efforts, just 'when are you going to make more track videos'? Imagine reading that as a comment to your videos. Just super weird mate. But thanks, in due time my friend... they will follow as more events actually happen. These aren't run every other week. More an annual thing.
The tribute car is really spectacular. What a brilliant idea! Well done, indeed.

Wow! Awesome job you sir are a true Gentleman 👌
Thanks Mark.
Wow Jason, spectacular looking cars and effort on your part.
Thanks Jason. That 92' RCCA article really sucked me in to this car. Brilliant marketing for Schumacher on this car.. I was hooked.
GREAT JOB !
Thanks Ken

The Cougar2 was the car that got me inspired to do more with rc again, lighting the spark that drove me to search out vintage racing.
The cougar 2 has such great lines. Great job getting started on the builds.
Thanks Keith.. it's a shame there aren't more of these parts more readily available.

Spot on. Awesome release from Schumacher and pure heaven to drive
love the chassis colour👌 I'm between that and the works purple chassis 🤣
Schumacher really knew how to market the Cougar2
Unreal, Cheers from this Aussie in China. I am a long way from the Northern Beaches and St Ives now, lol.
Hello again. St Ives is a long way from what you may remember now. All carpet 😭

Two sexy looking cougars, ive got another to restore 😂 hopefully get it started this week 🤞 look forward to seeing these two when there done 👍
Thank you Richard. Those shock parts went on to a good cause and more will follow. Thank you for seeing the big picture

I looked at the thumbnail pic for this vid, and for a moment I thought the seat back was a mullet. Good vid btw.

Should do a video on The differences between the cougar chassis, cougar II, pro etc
I had the same idea in mind Ant. Great minds think alike 😆

I was wondering if you know. I got a Schumacher Mission FT front wheel drive on road car. Are those cars now discontinued ?
