Good episode, do more of these if you aren't already. I like the Samurai. I have one myself, I stripped, cleaned and rebuilt it with bearings through it. I have driven it twice. I just don't trust the transmission as a whole. I feel like it is going to lunch itself any minute.
Hi guys track started to look like the old days style off mud & grass. You mentioned a guy called Rory Cull, just wondered if he started off in the UK racing at the Worcester car club? Shame you are so far away would love to race around your track. Just about to get into the UK vintage racing with a Re Re Schumacher Cougar, as my son’s old 30+ year old RC10 is a little fragile. I raced with my 2 sons aged then 6 & 8. I am now classed as vintage myself at 67. But just got back into racing after retiring. I go to a small club here in Devon UK. All the best for your Vintage Bash 3. 👍
@@steveharris4233 yes Rory is British. Well known for his accomplishments even at international level. Rory has been gracing us with his presence at these events and is a true gentleman.
Fantastic vid mate , Luis looks so proud and happy about this new track transformation and 1000k is a mind boggling distance but shows your commitment too Jason. Such a great feeling when watching this Video, Good luck all involved , I wish I was there ❤
Hopefully someone will drag a hirobo jealousy out of the vault and give it a rip around this sweet track for all of us to enjoy 😃😃😃 a boy can dream right?!?!
I so hope there there is a bash 4, i may be able to get out there for it. Just need to save up the pennys. The vintage scene is growing huge these days, and thats all i care about. But im deffo going to try my hardest to get abroad to race. Plenty of vintage events in the uk, but im loving the sound of the silver can class, more my speed of car 😂 great update and look forward to seeing your footage of it all.
Fantastic event! Nostalgic kick big style! I would love to be there but a little way from me in the UK! I totally agree about the tyres these old classics with 2.2 tyres look wrong as simple as that! Good example the frog! Keep it OG! Those Super Gripper spiked fat rears and front Smoothee tyres give off a sound on track right from the 80s that's so damn sweet! Great vid Jason and great to see you guys chat, going to be an epic event l look forward to seeing the vids Jason so get as much recorded as you can mate😉
That other track you're talking about I've seen them race on that I like watching them race on that if I remember there's a pot hole one of the turns that I thought would actually ruin cars.
Of course you would Brad 😆... just like ragging around in your local car park.. Not us. We are purists and this is a very rare opportunity to do things exactly like we use to back in the 80's and 90's.

Amazing video ❤thanks
Great to see the track get a freshen up. Very glad that the lay out will stay old school, and not go motorcross style.
I really need to pull finger and get some cars together in working order. That’s going to be a huge meet.
Hopefully see you all there.
cant wate ! just a shame i cant get there on the thursday or friday
You should call these guys.... Wait for it..... "THE BASH STREET BOYS"! 😅
Lol
You should broadcast this for us vintagenerds in Europe 😂👍
We will be
Top notch! Great stroke with the model year groupings.
Looking forward to making the trip!

Great to see another dirt track being preserved. Brings back memories.
"safe space to be an RC nerd". 👍
Good times Jason. Track will be great. 1000kms is about a quarter of the whole eastern seaboard of the USA which is a haul.
2,119 km round trip
@@Bormac073 yeah that’s a butt hurt’en. Bought the same for me to visit Keith from my home oof.

Awesome, I like the period era classes and keeping it vintage with the correct size tyres!
Me also. It's a great concept that works.
Can't wait for the bash this year!
Man I wish all my cars weren't in boxes and in a semi finished style. I got like 50 shells I need painted up 😬😬😬
The struggle is real my friend
Some good banter there, great memories by the sounds of it in the day. Happy to have been able to join the fun last year.
Thanks Stu. Luis knows what he's doing and how to best do it. He heads up a team of great guys who really do get it.

Thanks Richard. Yes no doubts travelling international is costly to most but who knows what the future holds.

Cheers MB. Yes the 2.0" and smaller are needed for these earlier classes in my opinion.
Looking forward to this👌
Its a cracking event with a great team leading the way
Awesome chat! Thoroughly enjoyed the content and build up 🥰
Thank you Andy. You gents are doing great things down there and Im honoured to be welcomed
What is the Kyosho? On the right?
Maria Samurai and Losi XX4
HI Team, were would I find the rules for vintage racing in Au? Cheers!
Different clubs hold events and rules can vary between them. There isn't a vintage association here, so different organisers choose what they like.
That red dirt is gourmet
Yes it is. Thank you for checking out the video and the support.
I only using 7.2 during the race are you going to have 7.4?
Any battery up to a 6000mah. Nicad, Nimh or Lipo.
