There is a WW1 mod for TW Warhammer 3, the Empire can train German soldiers basically. It got a whole roaster with riflemen, artillery, tanks, planes and so on and is of pretty high quality So if you wanna see how to survive in a brutal and savage fantasy world with the power of gun, go ahead :D
never got much in to total war until warhammer suddenly seeing my hobby come to live like it does is a thing of pure joy to me and one of my favrite games now
What a weird typo, Evolution? more like Devolution. There was no Total War game inbetween Medieval II and TW Warhammer due to Warscape Engine issues. What im talking about in detail for the casuals, after Medieval II they switched to the Warscape Engine since its better for projectiles to make Empire Total War. Sadly with the new engine they introduced errors like no collision between units and them only being able to fight 1v1 as well as lots of clipping and glitching. This has NEVER been fixed until Total War Warhammer so every Total War was basically just garbage after Medieval II Total War. In Rome II Total War they also used alot of fake trailers and gameplay. So the title is very misleading and wrong, you should rename it. Only in Total War Warhammer they finally fixed the engine issues and fights are actually watchable. Pretty sad history. Not to mention all the other systems like building on the campaign map and systems only got worse. At least TW Warhammer is good again so thats a happy ending but crazy that for like 10 years this series was dead.
For 10 years this series was dead xD? Wtf bro, just because you think that it doesnt mean its true. Till this day shogun 2 is praised as one of the best total war games ever. Attila has great and climatic campaign, rome 2 has great mulitplayer (especially siege battles). Almost every part increased the popularity of the series. Even in this very moment Rome 2 has more players than Medieval 2 so i dont know wtf are you talking about xDDDD
@@viro3445 Are you unable to read? I told you what im talking about. You cannot play any Total War and think its good if the battles are unwatchable. Check out sane critic on Rome II for example. Two blops of units go into each other like an ant pile and you say you don't know what im talking about? Did you even played the games? It is horrible to play and watch battles in that units dont have collision and clip into each other as well as only being able to perform 1v1 and yes, the casuals might not notice since not everybody cares about playing a good game and just fanboy pretending their broken product would be good. Maybe you only auto resolve? But even then mechanically Rome II was not great either while looking mid and running terrible. It is not about what I think but I stated FACTS about what they changed with the combat with the Warscape Engine and Rome 2 scam.
@@PuellaMagiHomuraAkemi xDDD what a retard, fights look absolutely fabulous, yes it do look strange from time to time but ffs did it look better in medieval 2? Peasant kickin full armour knight from the back causing him to die instantly? Or better, the glitched two handed axe, swords, strange bashing with shield and cavalary standing menacingly while spearman bash them with shields. Sane critic was right about game when it came out, back then rome 2 was piece of shit but after patches it looks absolutely great. Collision in medieval 2 looke great when unit actually GO for charge, most of time you will get glitched out charge with units trying turn around (it will take them two animations minimum for rotating xD). You say you stated facts yet somehow most players think otherwise, statics speak for themselves.
@@PuellaMagiHomuraAkemi Battles are unwatchable? I think only in empire battles look worse then medieval 2, everything else is much better. Sane Critic was right about rome 2 when it came out, they patched it and now it looks beautifull. I played every game so i know how they look ;). Medieval 2 had collisions? Yeah...especially when charge were glitched out and troops were just bumping in enemies, cavalery was standing menacingly hile spearman were bashing them with their shields for no purpouse. Especialy realistic part was when one peasant with dagger managed to kill armoured foot knight with single kick to his back, and even if he didnt then knight had to use two rotating animations to face the enemy... Did you even played these games? Yes they did change the engine but still new games looked better then medieval 2. Are you unable to use your brain? Of course you don't, first you need one. Empire is still my favourite
"Medieval: Total Wa (2002)"
Would be cool to see a ww1 or Witcher total war game
There is a Witcher mod being worked on in ModDB, it's still having pictures updated.

Mods!
Warhammer è sicuramente il più bello per la varietà di razze ed armamenti. Aspettiamo 40k🤞
So much visual clutter in the latest few titles. They really need to tone down the UI stuff. I'd like to see the armies I am commanding.
