@@blood_upon_the_rose I think it's probably in the 220-250 range.. cos in the video where Guy Martin outruns a helicopter, he was doin 275-280 and that was on the long straights.. Considerin this is in the bends, it should probably be lower speeds than that.. Just guessing by the way
I went to Bray Hill for my first TT in 1962. Gary Hocking and Mike Hailwood on MV Augusta 500cc Senior machines. The Sound and the Speed was unforgettable. Great place to watch. 😗
Robert, my late uncle Peter attended the MGP and TT in the late '50s and '60s and always told me how unbelievable Bray Hill was, and I'm so glad I finally got to see for myself!
I first encountered the TT in '85 from Hillberry corner. I was 18 and it left me totally stunned. In the same week I watched some practice sessions from Bray Hill , simply could not believe the speeds. That week sealed my future on bikes.😁😁
Holy sh*t, I've watched so many short clip videos of this and this is the first one that has made my eyes water. Something about where the person is standing and how they filmed it that really captured the speed. So intense! Lol I like it though.
Thanks so much, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I'd been wanting to go to the TT my whole life and tried to prepare myself, but there was no way to prepare for the sound and feeling of a bike going past at 180mph from about six feet away. I hope everyone gets the chance to experience the TT.
@@jacketrussell I can only imagine all the amazing memories you must have from those races. I was working towards doing the MGP for years until they introduced the age limit of 45 a few years back, which ruled me out. To say I was gutted would be an understatement. I did, however, manage to do a couple of Irish road races in 2018, the Cookstown and Tandragee, which were dreams come true, especially as I'm from Canada.
So this looks like the first lap. The rider go connor Cummings, Dead Harrison, david johnson. I think Harrison was faster coming down but johnsons bike was alot louder. My logic is they start in 10 second intervals. Conner is gone at 10 seconds, while Harrison is gone at 19, and Johnson at 30.
The Isle of Man TT has been running for more than 100 years, and all racers taking part do so of their own free will. I would encourage you to look into the TT's rich history to learn what it's all about and why, in my opinion, it's the greatest motorsport event in the world.
I genuinely can't get my head around how these lads do this. It's ridiculously brilliant.
Imagine turning at that speed, probably over 250 km/hr 😱😱 major respect
Hell yeah! Also, those bikes must be mighty powerful to be able to push those speeds while carrying the weight of the riders balls
I can't remember exactly what speed they hit at bray Hill but I'm guessing 180mph which is close to 300kph

@@rahulsudhir666 on average it's about 175 - 180 mph they are going through that bend, there's videos on UA-cam with speedo data attached
On a reasonably bumpy road with no run off. Balls the size of planets!!
just looking at them take that turn has my heart pumping

So true, there's no way to adequately describe it until you've been there. And then all you want to do is keep going back!
Sad TT with the loss of Jefferies
