Cool video. I was there a few weeks ago, my first time ever. It would've been great if the people mover was working, but we were up on the balcony watching the fireworks at their dessert party, it was fun. As always, excellent video. Thanks for sharing !
Disneyland had a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea walkthrough exhibit from 1955-1966. Walt Disney World had from 1971-1994 a submarine attraction called 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage, where the subs looked like the Nautilus from the movie. Whereas Disneyland had gray colored actual subs that were painted yellow years later. With mermaids on “rocks” too! 🧜🏼♀️
Wearing those masks, I actually did that. Now I look at the box of masks I have and hope never to have to wear them again. Before retirement, I worked in a place that was class 1 where you had to wear all the stuff from hat to booties.
During COVid I started watching UA-cam videos to see what was happening in our country. My first video was in Florida, the streets were empty for the first few weeks. Poor California took a couple of years. I found your channel too ...I watch more UA-cam than reg. TV...
20,000 Leagues was the most amazing attraction. Felt like you were really there. Not sure the Submarine Voyage with Nemo would have the same impact. Honestly surprised it hasn’t been demolished, I know the maintenance team hates it.
Thank you for saying that about the chiropractor! Last time I rode the Matterhorn it snapped my neck on a turn and I started seeing spots and could hardly see and had to lay down on a bench while my friend finished Disneyland on her own and then came back and helped me off the bench at closing time and I walked out hanging on her literally half blind. I woke up the next day just fine but it really was a scary experience. I was only 30 . I never rode it again😮
The Submarine voyage was not themed to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea at Disneyland in California, only the one in Florida which they sadly buried. It was one of only three good rides in WDW Disneyland portion.
speaking of d23 predictions, I hope they finally announce more about and start construction on that avengers e ticket ride that they have been promising us since 2019 for California adventure!
The emporium and main Street is now one of my favorite areas to go, as a grown up walking around Disneyland. I like old timey feel, like Mary Poppin days.
I remember riding the peoplemover there way back when and riding the Subs when they were Nautilus those were so cool as a kid. Would love to go back to that park where Walt walked. Safe travelsthis week. I am anxious about d23 and what news will be shared!!!
Hey Adam, they don’t run the monorail when the temp goes over 80 degrees, or somewhere around there, because it doesn’t have a/c and gets way too hot for passengers. *The more you know* 😉
Yup, I was there Sunday too and was talking to a castmember about that. Seems like the Monorail only will operate in the early morning, stop around noon due to the heat and opens back up after the fireworks.
Nice to see you back in my state. It was fun seeing Disneyland again. Covid was and is awful. Let's pray it never gets that bad again. 🥺. But it's not gone.
Happy birthday week. Celebrate all things Disney and baseball. And yes please a huge tomorrow land announcement I’m 64 so no cartwheels for me. Also hungry bear is getting a country bear BBQ theme
Good day to you, Sir! Maybe I’ll see you there. (We did briefly meet two two years ago. Me and my friends will be there- hanging part of the time with Mark. At PDX now, ready to fly down for the festivities/shenanigans 😂Just downloaded this video for the plane. In approx 3 hours, I shall land at SNA. ENJOY 🎉 Small plane, not my fave.
I miss just walking around in the park like when we had passes. (Pre covid) Now when we go, it's like a crazy day of doing as much as you can in one day. Exhausted.
Riding out the hurricane right now about 40-45 miles from the eye (going away from me on a slight angle, so it will be around the same distance away for a few hours). Going to be a lot of cleanup, but here's Mr the Woo to the rescue, to take my mind off it for a half hour. I joined you, let's go!
Love this video Adam! You are awesome as always! I stayed for the first time at the Castle Inn, across the street. It was a great hotel and it took maybe from door to esplanade about 5-6 minutes walk.
Welcome back to So Cal! Hope to see you on Sunday at D23! (And I agree, I'll be right with you crapping myself and do a cartwheels if they announce the return of the People Mover! 😂)
Thanks for the hotel tips, normally holiday in Florida, but looking at California for a change, I'm a bit nervous as I'm not sure how to book , fly drive, then hotels, or a package from the UK
Very interested to see the St Louis ball field. I heard it was a good ball park. Drove by it quite a few times but never stopped. So glad the Rays pull off the series win against the Astros. Great vlog Adam.
Yes, Busch Stadium is really a great ball field. Great food & drink, good location, and friendly great fans. I'll be there for Wednesdays game against the Rays.
I also remember when they were eating their Knott's chicken dinner in the parking lot of the Buena Park Mall. They weren't expecting to find a hidden Mickey run by to say hi!😂

We also like the Shanghai pirates of the Caribbean and the Tokyo fantasy springs version of rides. Bring back the great movie ride. Bring back the star cruiser as a value resort.
I think the monorail is down because of construction in Downtown Disney. There is a new robot for a fireworks show in Batuu. Also, there is a new DVC lounge in DCA. You should take Freshbaked in with you.
It seems everyone is taking his or her cue from Brickey about Tomorrowland. Granted, the area between Star Tours and the train station is a bit dead in the water - with the exception of Space Mountain. Otherwise, I don't have a problem with it. Forget about restoring the People Mover. It would cost too much money for Disney Parks to do anything about it. However, the company needs to do something about that particular dead space I had mentioned. And granted the Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom has the People Mover, I'm not particularly fond of it either. The visuals are not that great, either. It lacks Disneyland's lagoon and a submarine attraction. The Monster Inc. attraction DOES NOT belong there and the building across it has been unoccupied for four years or so.
I remember those videos in 2020 it was so strange and quiet what a difference now back to normal, I think Tim Tracker will also be at D23 so looking forward to those videos of the two of you there 😊
Haopy monday to you Wooster .. it is nice hearing what the differences are in the parks . Thanks for strolling thru it on what swemwd to be a littke bit humid of a day in Anaheim. Have a great rest of your day and a nap or 2 throughout your day today .
I love Autopia, it's an opening day ride and I hope they respect Walt's legacy by keeping it in some form. I look forward to the upgrades. As for that Honda bird..hearing "Welcome everybody, this is BIRD!" a dozen times while in line is like a chalkboard scratching the inside of my SOUL! I'm ready for BIRD! to retire.. Also, I don't know what the big fuss is about, last time I was there I rode Matterhorn six times it RULES!
Halloween season used to begin on October 1st for me, when I would start watching Halloween movies. The older I get, the less I like the summer heat, so I'm all in on early August starts to Halloween. It's a great distraction from the hot days.
Goodmorning to you, the WOO!! We are t-minus 5 days away from your birthdayyyy 💖💖
Countdown is on
And the Fit by 50 reveal.

The Matterhorn is so rough they should pass out coupons for a chiropractor when boarding. 😂

'Everyone would crap themselves and do a cartwheel' caught me off guard 😂😂
I remember watching those bike riding videos you did around the convention center, and having lunch in the local parks. That was quite the times. 😎
i remember the bike vids two . those were so cool with no one there
Your vlogs from deserted Disneyland are one of my key memories from those dark months of Covid. Twilight Zone is an apt description
I remember those videos during the 2020 events. It was completely surreal. Glad everything has returned to normal again.
Wearing those masks, I actually did that. Now I look at the box of masks I have and hope never to have to wear them again. Before retirement, I worked in a place that was class 1 where you had to wear all the stuff from hat to booties.
Californians still wear masks and are not normal.
Love the cast member saying “have a good day, Adam.” 😂😊😊
I just love Disneyland. We were there in May and it was great. I prefer it over Florida.
I grew up in Anaheim..I remember getting in for $35. Those were the good old days. I can't bear going there now.
In a perfect world, Adam has his place in Florida but also an apartment in LA or OC. You can tell how much he loves it here every time he visits.
I'd love to visit the park in California. It looks fun and the weather seems so much nicer without humidity.
During COVid I started watching UA-cam videos to see what was happening in our country. My first video was in Florida, the streets were empty for the first few weeks. Poor California took a couple of years. I found your channel too ...I watch more UA-cam than reg. TV...

12:49 - Love how the Cast Member said good-bye to you using your name!
Best part of the video the lady preaching JESUS!!! Amen
I came to the comment section just for this! Truth!
Glad you had some time for Disneyland…and the chiropractor’s favorite ride, the Matterhorn! Enjoy your journeys.
Thank you for saying that about the chiropractor! I discovered your channel when you were doing your food tour during the 'strange times'. 🤙
That was a time for sure . Did 50 days in a row of SoCal food spots
The emporium and main Street is now one of my favorite areas to go, as a grown up walking around Disneyland. I like old timey feel, like Mary Poppin days.
Lucky, can’t go ro D23 at the last minute but my friends will have fun for me
Happy Monday Adam 😎👍
Everyone would crap themselves and do a cartwheel sent me into hysterics! Thanks, Adam!
I was just about to post that 😂
This video got me all Matterhorny for D23!!!

They aren't running it due to construction in Downtown Disney. However, you are correct they won't run it in the afternoon in the summer.
@@luvadventuresandart That starts today, Aug 5th.
Temple of Doom was always a favorite of mine, even though it scared me when I was a kid.

As always, thank you for showing the merchandise in the shops! 🎃 Love it all.
The circus used to use the Convention Center Arena, I remember going to see 2 circuses there.
That figment shirt is soo cute!
