@@VehicleVirgins I've been following both you and Misha for years. It's nice to see you made it back and got to drive this time. I'm guessing the thing that really threw you off was navigating the other cars on track. It's got to be a lot to take in, even if you've mastered the track on a sim, mostly because of the elevation changes and G-forces that add more sensory inputs. I think that if you were able to spend a few days and do another 10 laps or so that you would be way more comfortable at speed, especially around the other cars. It's a lot to take in but the best part was it's clear to see how much fun you had! 🙂
Misha is such a good instructor he even lowered the volume of himself as the driving got better.
Fantastic video. Really captures the notion of a first drive on the ring. Misha is a legend. Quite something to start on such a capable car with such a perfect coach. Real bucket list thing for me to experience a lap under Misha guidance.

Little disclaimer, there is a speed limit on all roads outside city limits of 100km/h. Only on the Autobahn you can go faster.

I just had my first laps on the Nürburgring on July 9th. Really captured a lot of the same emotions I felt being there in person for the first time. Definitely a bucket list item. Great video.

A quick suggestion, if the funds allow you to, maybe ship the 600LT to the UK, visit some fellow UA-camrs like Archie, then go on a road trip to Germany, drive it on the autobahn and Nurburgring, that would make for some great videos, great memories with the car too…

you can actually see how he feels more confident at the end of the lap, very quick adapting to a new car and track (assetto corsa won't give you these G's when practicing), well driven! :)

I’m the one who crashed the interlagos blue Z4M Coupe after Brünnchen (Eiskurve (!)). It was my 13th visit… Its true what they say. Nordschleife really gets dangerous once you think you know it and ups the pace… (besides having a twitchy car sometimes called ’widowmaker’)

Seeing how serious Vehicle Virgins looks driving the Nurburgring makes me realize that I don't think I will enjoy driving for the ring the first time.
You will trust me. Just watch your mirrors and if your uncomfortable with other cars around you, just simply use your indicators (very normal at Nordschleife), it helps a lot. The track also feels a lot wider then on video.
@@gedam131As the video shows: don't just indicate when you're uncomfortable - indicate right all the time when you are prepared to let traffic from behind pass.

The track etiquette of the other drivers amazes me, if this was in America there’d be a civic with like a GT2RS behind it and they would just not let it pass

@@RMS027 the diff is hard mounted thats why it sounds like a sequential gearbox. Misha explains in the video. Even if that wasn't the case, it's a M2 it's twin turbo engine.
@@leonardomartins3163 I'm not even fond of his car nor the build. Whatever it is, sounds great! To give it that whine is a very nice aesthetic.
@@leonardomartins3163this is a single (twin scroll) turbo, not a twin turbo. I own the same car btw.
