How to remove or block netflix button on nvidia shield tv pro with button mapper app solution
You will need button mapper aplication from google play store first, it cost few dollars but its worth it.
1. Install and pay for full version of button mapper from play store
2. After instalation go to shield settings
Device preferences
Accessibility
Button mapper and Turn it ON
3. Go back to button mapper app
4. Press add buttons (its paid option)
5. Click add button and press netflix button on remote once.
6. With next setting choose CUSTOMIZE (must be ON)
and for all actions choose NO ACTION
7. Next go to TROUBLESHOOTING in app
8. Turn on ALTERNATIVE BUTTON HANDLING
This it it. Works for me and others!!

OMG thanks. I had done the other steps, but not that troubleshooting toggle. If you don't click that on, you still get an annoying pop-up. Thanks for solving my problem.

Doesn't work for Nividia Shield, at least not anymore. Correction, *"alternate button handling"* worked
