I did the same stage 3 DHM. My power gains are mid to top end range. Almost as if u need to pin it to feel the full power at high rpm’s. I currently are running the cheap Amazon exaust. I think it needs a better exaust like a Hindle. That’s my next mission. Also imported the head for flow. I so hate the sound of the Amazon exaust even more because it’s super annoying kinda loud! Keep me posted on your build.
Yeah not a whole lot of power gains down low that I noticed but compared side to side with stage 3 vs 2 there is a big difference I’m glad I went with the stage 3 for mine!
Pair this with a bigger rear sprocket to get some lower end power. I got dhm stage 3 on my gen 1 and the kitaco case cover which eliminates the oil spinner losing some off the line torque. Made up for it with a 14/37 sprocket setup and speedo calibrator. Gets up to 60 pretty quick, bounces off the limiter at 65 so it can probably go a little more with a different sprocket count. I only ride city so favored acceleration over top speed
I’m not sure what gearing is on mine to be honest I know it’s not stock but haven’t taken the time to figure out what is actually on it I’m super pleased with the results Iv put 700 ish miles on it so far and to me it feels like you think a grom should feel
hi. i wanted to get your advice on this. i have a s1 on my 2022 grom. it does like 70 top with 60 cruise at 7k rpm in 5th. i was hoping with s3 i would get 75 top with 65 cruise at 7k rpm. i know i will have to change the sprocket front or rear to get this. what do you think? is it doable with the s3 upgrades and flash? ty

Also a good idea to reflash your ECU/TCM
I got the flashed ECU from DHM so should be all good there

Still running good? Thinking of upgrading my stage 2 over the winter.
Yessir several thousand HARD miles later and it’s still running strong lol
@@MidwestAdventures95 Wow! You install any supporting mods to achieve that reliability?
Can you explain what the stages mean? I’m pretty new to this, are these stages like add ons to stock engine for more power ect?
Stage 1 is intake exhaust stage 2 is intake exhaust and cam stage 3 is intake exhaust cam and high comp piston stage 2 and 3 require tunes as well
