I am looking into A.I. as a accessibility function for player who could have problem using a keyboard when playing game like X-Wing. The pilot in a X-Wing craft could be using voice control to order wingman or switch target. If implemented correctly by creating an API with accessibility for an A.I. in a game engine, it will not require a lot of ressource and it could be a game changer as much as Xbox Live.
This will be helpful. I stopped playing the Jedi survivor game because I got stuck on this loooong linear path walking back and forth not knowing where to go to move forward. Sometimes you need to backtrack and sometimes it's push forward. The audio que ding noise doesn't help at all.
It would be cool to talk to npcs and side characters and they’ll remember what happened in the past and you can talk to them about what happened in the game.
I am genuinely interested in how generative AI can improve NPC capabilities especially for NPC run games like SIMS or AGE of Empire games. Hopefully does don't just get lazy with AI tech like we've seen this gen with all the tools that are just supposed to help, but often got used in place of proper development.

The AI on minecraft has good possibilities. 1 my Mrs will never have to look up how to craft again. 2 my son can probably ask for the best codes and commands for what ever crazy things he gets up too in his 'Lab'

The ais are supposed to be like the storyline ai , so why not unleash a gaming ai for halo and make the multiplayer insanely more competitive. Everyone gets the enhanced ai
I wonder if they can get Ai to do game optimization. It seems like a big job optimizing every moment of a game to properly allocate resources to get fluid frames. Humans can create the storys and Ai could make it run well.

A lot of comments here are from people that don’t seem Interested in the feature. While I believe them, I also think this feature will be 100% be used. Guides online for meta Diablo builds and COD load outs get a ton of traffic, and this has the potential to replace them.

People put thousands of hours into doing real world actions (playing, learning, researching, cataloguing, creating media content and sharing etc); building an audience based on content, in some cases generating income from their efforts. The tool will utilise their content without permission while potentially making everything they did obsolete, which for some means losing a valuable income stream. I don't agree that this is a celebratory situation and putting effort into figuring out how to program something to steal other people's work isn't a positive defence for this any more than it would be for AI generated imagery. It looks cool and it is convenient but it only exists because millions of other people put a lot more work into their craft and then had it used without consent to build the model.

Game guides are research that you pour through to get good. AI assistant seems like cheating on a multiplayer platform. I will only use AI for research on a web browser.
