Congratulations! Just one thing and you might already know this but here goes. The Mustang cowl is notorious for rusting out and leaking water down inside the firewall and onto the drive and passenger floor board. It the area where the car gets fresh air ventilation at your feet. Hate to see the computer get waterlogged.

I’d agree 100% about the moisture concern under the dash. I’ve got a 66 that’s solid and in remarkably good shape but it has that leak above the heater box. The ECU is exactly where the drip occurs in my car.

What a wild ride, 😅, thanks for taking us along for all of it !!! The drones shots were awesome 😎..
I'm sorry, they couldn't have been drone shots.. I apologize for insinuating that. You are a law abiding citizen of course... I'll be watching you polish this thing up, to get it to the strip.. Party on !!??

I can identify with the feeling- have a little time to finish a Valiant V8 sedan, shake it down, then get it to Atlanta for a charity event/run to Texarkana & back. Definitely have some help & sponsors/company friends, but it's both a push and exciting as the car goes back into shape

Awesome! Congrats! Love the builds... I was first drawn to your channel because I am a fellow Z owner, but I am a car guy through and through so all of your content is right up my alley and I have to say, I think you have the best car channel out there. Love your approach, filming, and your demeanor and attitude. Great stuff... please keep it up! Cheers to the Stang 🍻

Congraulations to you sir! This has been along time coming and you have done an admirable job. I suspect that you will have a great time fine tuning and tweaking this car. Don't stop the videos on it though, take us along for all of the adjustments and "gremlins" that will pop up from time to time. Again, well done.
Oh, keep an eye on that ECU with heat as well. With it being on the floor board I do hope it doesn't cook it. The other comments were right to let you know about the cowl areas in those cars they are awful. I had to completely replace mine and no it was not fun.

LOL, I hate you California guys, we're facing another snow storm up here in Alberta and your driving around in shorts and bare feet! Nice job on the Mustang, I figured you'd be happier with that engine, a six is kinda cool but it's a Mustang! So now you have two "carbon breathing dragons", you better get an EV for your daily or Newsome's gonna deport you! (giggle)

Make sure the cowl does not leak water into the interior (right where you mounted the ecu). These cars are notorious for rust causing leaks right about there, where you mounted that ecu.

Keep in mind the old cars steered somewhat loose compareed to rack and pinion. My 67 is really tight but doesnt compare to any new car with a rack. Mine is a tribute car with a real hipo 289,4speed,posi 9 incher. The car is fast. Do a video flat footing the accelerator. I cant wait till I hear that pony breathe.

Thats NOT a COLD air intake.
Fabricate an air filter box that prevents 200* under hood air from reaching the filter. Suck only ambient air.

Computer ought to get really hot enclosed against that bare metal floor board. When you start getting wierd running, check this.

I hope your computer is mounted high enough on the floorboard that it will avoid coolant if you ever develop a leaky heater core.

I just finished binge-watching your build on this car. Talk about a lot of hustle to get things to work. It was a lot of fun to see your fabrication and to see you do the whole thing with old-school airtools and plug-in electrics! It reminded me a lot of working on stuff with my dad back in the day. Built not bought for sure. Great Car ad great channel.
