      Hope it has helped you understand the reason why some people gain weight even though they don’t eat much. And some don’t gain much despite taking good amounts of food.

    Thank you Sir for yet another interesting piece. From 2 to 20 percent DM is quite worrisome. Our thrifty gene, sudden food & physical affluence together with stressful life has a role in it. I often see healthy elderly parents accompanying their middle aged sons & daughters with complications of metabolic syndrome.
