This is 100% why I am here. Marcus's highs remind me of Chris Roetter, and his clean vocals remind me of Kurt Travis at some parts, especially during the slower bridge in the middle. You guys never fail to put a smile on my face. 🤘🏻

The week I found this song in 2022 I was out dirt biking with a buddy and Dad. We were a 30 minute ride out of town when my Dad sent a sand dune in 4th gear full pin. He ended up flying off the other side of the dune and landed flat on his left foot. He felt like he did something to it but he wasn’t in too much pain so decided to just start the ride home without us. When me and my friend got back to town I got a call from my mom saying that he was still at the sand dunes 30 minutes out of town and was unable to get his bike started because he shattered his ankle into what we would later learn was 6 pieces. I remember ripping my 230 4 stroke as fast as I possibly could with this song full blast in my AirPods back to the dunes to find him. Most out of body experience I think I’ve ever had in my life. Gives me chills every time I hear the intro

Everchanger was one of my favorite albums along with singularity by Northlane, the night God slept by Silent Planet and the older ERRA albums. I don't really keep listening to metalcore in general today but it's lovely to see these lads are still going strong and making awesome music even after changing vocalist. Well, Everchanger... and stillworld is what made me fall in love with these guys... this new material is different. As a huge fan, I will continue to listen....because Music does evolve, and I respect the band trying new things. Aside as the vocals (heavy) it’s wonderful, definitely gives me that same satisfaction that Ben gave. The soft clean stuff, it’s not bad.. just not use to this IA sound. But looking forward to see the new material.
I didn't like his lows, personally. They felt thin and weak compared to Ben. The cleans were definitely better than ben but idk if I necessarily enjoyed them in this context. I guess we will all just have to wait and see.
Jonathan Blind - I get where you’re coming from. Ben and Northlane’s Adrian both have amazing lows. I rotate Stillworld and Singularity pretty frequently tbh. Having said that I do think Marcus has a better technique, and imo his lows/mids sound better in context. He’s a more aggressive-sounding screamer than Ben because you can actually hear his voice in his lows (or maybe it’s just me haha). I’m super stoked to see what these guys have done with Marcus, I loved his album with Aviana

It didn't agree with my ears, but that's probably just from being conditioned with Ben's epic lows for all these years. Hes a good vocalist, I'm gonna have to get used to it. I never got used to the northlane transition though. So who knows
