Your turtorials over this computer have really helped me understand what it does. I'm glad I watched it before actually going to my flight school.

Hmm not sure why it says that lol. I'm stationed in Fort Worth Tx. I've been using MSF for years since I was a little kid. It really helped me learn how to navigate with VOR and NDB radios. If I get lost on the FS it doesn't cost me anything but electricity lol.

@jeepinbanditrider Glad they helped. I'd encourage you to start out in gliders if you can. It's much cheaper, a ton of fun, and requires good stick and rudder coordination, formation flying, and an understanding of aerodynamics and weather you wont get in a powered airplane. If you stick with powered the biggest challenge is a solid foundation in the fundamental knowledge, FARs, and multitasking. The flying of the airplane is actually quite easy.

I have limited resources and basically have to apply them towards one thing which is why I'm going for a PP instead of a SP cert. I'm military and cannot get TA or use my GI Bill for a PP. I have to get done with my PP then I have to go to an accredited school to use my GI Bill for a CP cert. Bascilly I'm just trying to get best "bang for my buck" for right now.
    Thank you for the

@jeepinbanditrider You can do 99% of your training in Microsoft Flight Simulator before you ever step into an airplane. It's going to save you boat-loads of cash. Says on your youtube page you're stationed in Germany. Those guys are some of the best glider pilots in the world. Get a few rides in a glider there if it's not too late - Good luck!
