Thanks for posting this. I have an ASA E6B but it's all black lettering. I have set out to thoroughly understand the whiz wheel for aviation. I like what technology has to offer but I also like understanding how the old dogs did things too. I think doing things the old way presents more of an exciting challenge. Just like using a sectional chart and 2 VOR radials to determine your location vs a GPS. How many newbies know that trick? Learning is an exciting gift.
