Andrew, kundalini yoga is the original practice I was drawn to. For some reason kundalini specifically was calling me. The changes after practicing for roughly 6 months everyday are absolutely profound. Your wisdom and teaching techniques are second to none. Continued peace and joy to you and yours my friend. Please let me know about any retreats coming. Would love to meet and practice with you in person. You’re killing it with this channel bro. All the best moving forward. Be Well!
Thank you so much, John! I'm honored to hear how much you are enjoying to receive these teachings from me. I's a great gift to be able to share them with you and know that you are benefitting 🥰 Our next retreat will be in September, in Italy. You can find all of our retreats here: www.wetravel.com/users/refeel-yoga And if you want, you can join our mailing list to be notified on any updates: bit.ly/refeelmail
This was a great traditional kundalini yoga class! Thank you for sharing it with us Andrew. I've been doing kundalini everyday now for over a month and its has been quite the journey. Usually doing shorter classes but they doing always affect me as strong as they used to since I'm doing it everyday now. I realize I need to do more longer practice now that I seem to be building a tolerance to the shorter classes not having as strong affect on me like they used to when I was doing kundalini only two times a week. Feeling very calm and heart centered after this practice and I loved the leg stretches in this one, I need those. Have a blessed day, Sat Nam.
I'm very happy to hear about the growth that is happening in your practice! Congratulations on keeping up such consistency! 👏 I would like to offer a re-frame of part of your comment here, because this is a common experience that happens to many people on the path, as they go deeper into their practice. There can come this feeling that it's not working quite like it used to. In reality the gross stuff has been worked through, so the focus of the practice becomes less on the gross physical effects and more on the subtle (energetic/emotional/mental) aspects of the practice. So long as you don't let yourself get de-motivated (the ego loves to make excuses when things are not big and obvious) it's actually a great sign of progress! Perhaps the great feelings that you had before were most apparent due to the contrast of how you felt before vs after the practice. Now that you are doing the practice more consistently, are you carrying those good feelings with you throughout the entire day? Maybe they are still there even before you start again tomorrow? Maybe the increase in calm, awareness, presence, etc. is just who you are now? ;) I would definitely encourage you to keep up these longer practices - because they will inevitably take you even deeper! - however, don't discredit the effects that come from the shorter practices too! I only share this because I went down the same rabbit hole, till I was practicing for 4 hours every day. Eventually my ego started saying, if I don't have 4 hours to practice it's not worth it. It's not true! There is still so much value to a short practice, even if the contrasted effects are not as apparent. Have a beautiful day as well dear 💝🙏
@@RefeelYoga Wow thank you so much for taking so much time on your response Andrew! That means so much to me. And I think your right about it being more about me noticing the effects more strongly before because I was awakening a lot of chakras and kundalini energy I that I never felt before. I've been doing yoga over 12 years everyday and kundalini for 5 years now about twice a week for 4 years. And now everyday for about 5 weeks. I still have great days but I also have been having some pretty heavy depressing days as well. But I think the reason for that could be is now that I'm doing it everyday I am rasing my vibration to more to be able to heal more wounds and depression from my past so it must becoming up to be fully felt and healed. I've been coming to this realization and its helped me get back in the heart life life full of joy instead of in the mind being depressed. Feeling amazing since that hour class this morning. Thank you again Andrew. Much love and blessings 🙏
Andrew always coming back to you for your yoga practices & really found this the best class I have done in years to feel really centered and grounded , Namaste x😊
Andrew! I’ve been practicing yoga for a few years, my guides informed me to start approaching kundalini yoga and I immediately found your channel. Within 2 classes I bought your membership. TYFYS on these amazing videos, I’m already feeling a profound difference. And I have a podcast, called BG cast, where we discuss the great awakening and spirituality. I’d love to have you on sometime if you’ll oblige.
That's amazing Stephen! I'm so glad you're noticing such wonderful shifts already! I would love to come on your podcast and have a chat with you! Send me an e-mail, RefeelYoga@gmail.com, and we can set up a time 🙏💞 Happy New Year!
Hi there Andrew, I felt so overstressed before starting this class, but your teachings helping me so much to root and center myself. You are a great teacher🙏, so needed for Highly spiritual sensitive intuitive ones in a dense world, especially in busy cities like Amsterdam. ThankYou so much gratefull!
Thank you Andrew its been a while, a beautiful way to ground and centre after a big Christmas day with family. So good to come back to self amidst the mayhem. 🥰
Hey, thank you sharing this video with us! I think it's quite effective. I wanna ask you sth. I did this yoga yesterday and I feel depressed idk why. What can I do for that? I know about the possible effects of Kundalini yoga but I don't know what to do about this depression.
I've been doing kundalini yoga everyday now for over a month for the first time doing it everyday. I used to do it twice a week only had had great benefits. But now that I'm doing it everyday its bring up a lot of depression for me too but that's the only way we can truly heal it is to fully feel though it. Kundalini gives us strength and courage and is why it brings up depression and un heal blocks for us to heal now because we have raised our vibration to a state to be able to handle it even if it feels so intense and strong at times that we wont be able to deal with it. It can be very heavy and tough somedays I was very depressed two days ago then out of no where I started to feel good again yesterday and feel great today. Its been coming in waves for me lately with ups and downs we just have to ride the waves and continue our daily kundalini practice even when things get tough. Stay strong and have a blessed day. Sat Nam
You can do yoga, somatic exercise, grounding every day to stay in the present moment and make you feel safe 😊 It is when we wonder in the past or worry about the future when we get depressed
I'm sorry to hear that you're having one of those days as a result of the practice, dear. It is a very real possibility to move some energy in a way that leaves us feeling pretty sh*tty. There is no clear cut, one-size fits all answer for what to do when the depression comes. It'll come down to what quality and how heavy it is. Some days I would suggest you to just give in to it, be gentle with yourself and allow yourself to have a lazy, do nothing, self-care kinda day. I know for myself, I have a real "go-hard and push through" kind of attitude, so these surrender days are a big practice, and sometimes super healing for myself to just allow the laziness. However, if it's not just a day, and it's a heavy, weight on your shoulders and not going anywhere, multiple day sort of event. Then I would say you're gonna need to kick yourself in the ass and get that energy moving, even if it's not easy. In these cases, avoid any breathwork/pranayama! - this has too big of a risk to make it worse, instead of better! What you need to burn through the heavy energy (know in Sanskrit as Tamas) is movement. Dynamic, hot, warming, burning movement. HIIT can work. The frog pose from Kundalini can work. Going out for a run can work. However I think the very best practice you could do is Surya Namaskar, the Sun Salutation. This is a relatively gentle practice (compared to HIIT or frogs!) that can create A LOT of heat in the body. You can do them as fast or as slow as you like. And try to do at least 24. All the way up to 108. This is one of the best practice for raising your energy, without the risks that come with Pranayama-type practices. If you really want to experience a big shift through this practice; a couple years ago I did a 10 day challenge, building up from 12 rounds on day 1, to 108 rounds on day 10. This will guaranteed move something inside of you, not just through the 10 days, but likely for the next month or two! (bit.ly/SolarTransformation) Again, I want to re-affirm that the approach to how depression and low vibrations need to be dealt with is a very personal one. You need to use your own discrimination to discern, beyond the whims of the ego, what is the right action for you to take. I hope this helps 💝
@@RefeelYoga Wow I didn't know Pranayama could have this negative effect if already depressed I'll keep that in mind. And I agree with all the type of kundalini you mentioned in helping. I do a Kriya that is intense but I love it and it has set where you have to do 108 frog squats in a row. Intense but well worth it!
@@RefeelYoga thank you for your precious words ❤️ I did workout as you said and I feel better now 🙏 I know this video is super effective and I felt peace while doing it. Depression was the after effect. Now all thanks to you, I'm better. I always follow your videos. Hope you a peaceful day. Love from Turkey 😊
My favorite channel, man I don't understand some spiritual paths many tantra gurus usually old school tantra gurus were drinkers and users of some drugs, why in other energy or spiritual paths tells , quit from drinking drugs etc...because is bad for chakras and aura, etc.. I am on tantric practices but sometime I want to have fun, ( no moderation sometimes🥃🍷) I am confused, what is right what wrong on tantra, what do you think? Do you have fun sometimes 🍷?
In the end, there is no such thing as right or wrong. These are merely definitions we draw within our own minds. It comes down to, what do you want to achieve? If your goal is to enjoy life, lack of moderation will bring both extreme ups and extreme downs. If the high highs are worth the low lows, that's your call to make. If the goal is enlightenment, clarity of thought and high consciousness... it's very hard to get there while using substances. It is possible to get a glimpse. But I can tell you from interacting with MANY people who are on this path, between those who use and don't use substances, it is very rare to find someone who uses, and is in a consistent high vibration. It's not impossible! But I have met far too many people who THNK they are in a high vibration while using, and are much more often governed by instincts, emotional reactivity, habitual behaviours, greed, lust, desire, etc., and other signs of ignorance. It's wrong? No. It's very natural. In fact the whole idea of the spiritual path is very much going against many of our most basic instincts. When you are clear and honest with yourself, you will know what is right for you.
I am back again… beautiful practice…all the piscean energy in the heavens has left me discombobulated but this practice has left me feeling whole again! One question when working with the polarity of a chakra would you always do both sides of the body for equal time? Or say if you had low energy at Manipura could you practice longer on the left side to receive more energy? Have a great day ❤
Hey Abi! So nice to see you here again 🥰 It's definitely been an intense time, astrologically. Let's see what happens with this upcoming Solar Eclipse 😅 Stay strong dear! Regarding the polarity of the Chakras, it's best to always stick to equal timing for both sides. Otherwise we may risk to create another sort of imbalance. Keep in mind that the Chakras as extremely complex, in terms of the polarity, the various subtle layers, the natural cycles of energy over time, etc. So while we may feel lacking in a Chakra, energetically, we also be excessive in it physically or emotionally. Or we may be very "yin" on the physical level, but very "yang" on the mental level. Unless you are following the direct guidance of a very highly conscious Hatha Yoga teacher (I would not consider myself to be at this level), it's best to always aim towards balance in the most general sense ⚖
@@RefeelYoga Thank you so much for your quick response! That makes total sense - I really love the lens of the chakras and use them during my self Reiki treatments - your grounding practices have brought me back on to some sort of an even keel so thank you - making it through to the Solar eclipse seems much more doable now!
