May I suggest you just provide your boards attached to a direct replacement mount so we don't have to bust out the dremel? Should be a relatively cheap part to reproduce and would sure be a huge benefit to the end user...especially if someone wanted to return to stock for whatever reason.

nice video. you should look into making a full led kit (white and RGBW) for the euro-spec mustangs. (we're not getting the gill LED's here. our DRL's are set to the fog lights instead) I'm sure many people would like to modify this to get the great looking gills
Unfortunately, there will be some splicing involved, however the T-taps that are included in the kit, make splicing a breeze! The only quick splicing required are for the OEM functions like your turn signals and DRL power, everything else is plug-and-play!

+jose moya The RGBWA does Amber as well. This matches the factory side marker lights OR switchback LEDs if you have those installed. I don't see why anyone would want to run amber though when that white is so crisp... ;)
I hope you get something out soon. Every time I see a new mustang pull up across an intersection, it looks so lifeless with those dim DRL's. Then any other car with DRL's pulls up next to the mustang, a camaro, Dodge Charger, any imports and it looks like the mustang has a alternator issue with the LED DRL's just disappear next to those new cars. Even the 2013-14 mustangs with their first two parallel LED DRL diodes in each headlight, were very dull. What's worse is, on these new 2015's, the DRLS look great from a 30-50 degree angle to the side of the front bumper, but when viewed head on, they almost disappear and look like 3 thintoothpicks. So, yes, it would be great to stuff some nice BRIGHT LEDs in there like on every other car theses days. Brighter would give the mustang more character and make the car stand out. People lol at my 14' mustang, ask me what's up with the fake LED DRL's. I ask them why? They say they're obviously fake because they are so dim. Ricer-ish, as some have put it. Everyone else has the brightness figured out, why not Ford?..... My buddy swapped out the boards as you have done in these 2015's, with brighter strips as a custom project and it's a huge improvement over stock. Look at a new charger, 2015 challenger, camaros bright parenthesis LEDs around the outer sides of the headlights, or even a cheap little Chevy Cruze has bright LEDs in the traditional fog light section. Oh, how about LED round fog lights, like in the Porsche Vayman/Boxster, those would help too.
Hey Paul, the new Toothpick thin DRL LED's are so dim and dull, that they don't even look on in daylight, compared to every other car with LED DRL's. How about adding some life to those LED eyes. They're so dim and bland. Brighten them up first.
My headlights were sealed with Morimoto Retro and my headlights are now fogging up fully when there’s rain or its a humid day. What should I do? Ideas for the cap? I assume I did it right... i drilled a hole through the back cap and pulled wires through and used high temp silicone to seal the cap hole. By the cap I mean the white cap on the back of headlight that you twist on and off.

Iam from EU and i want to use them as daylight since ford has removed the LED stripes from EU distribution, but i dont want to turn it on with some extra controller. Ive already seen the color change DRL LED such as you have here, and again, they were barely visible in cloudy conditions, which means, not visible in full day light. Showing these in a dark room is not a good test bed.
Michael Harris these replacements are slightly brighter than the factory lights. Because additional brightness requires significant other considerations for reliability and optics, we will not likely be developing a brighter replacement solution. This video shows how to install the lights- it is not a "test" video of any sort.
Hi there! We don't recommend using the multicolor functionality on the road. These LED boards are fully RGBW capable, so you'll have a bright, pure white for street use!
Hey diode dynamics. Got my kit last year and was going to attempt an install over winter. Seems fairly straight forward. My question is, since this are a tight sealed beam from factory, once I open them and seal them I've heard the moisture will always be in there. Know anything about that?

I've contacted three so far that want me to pay more $ then I paid for the lights. I would understand paying $200 or around that range, but they are wanting $399-$499. I may end up returning the lights because of this.
It would have been nice if you guys would have shown a video of how to take the headlight cover off, it's a nightmare to do that btw... it take at least 2 hours per light as well.

I could care less about silly colored LED's. I just want them brighter so they're actually daytime visible. Then I MGHT consider a color upgrade.
The Explorer is also bad. Poor, dull, dim DRL's. The new Fusion has nice bright DRL's.

How do we get the DRLs to dim when the headlights come on?
You can use your app or the controller to dim the white light option!

awesome video, i know what you said that you have a video on how to remove it ( or unless that i understood wrong ) can you do or either point me to the right video on how to remove the heard light and how to open it up.. i really love this and would like to add this to my mustang, if its pretty easy i would like to post up blogs on mods on my mustang. im sure its not that hard but for someone that has never done this, i would really appreciate if you can help me out with this.. thanks sam
sammyg14, for first-timers, we do recommend professional installation, as opening up the headlights can be rather tricky. Diode Dynamics yeah I agree with you on that I had ask a buddy of mine and he knows how to do that.. he's a technician and while you should see his truck at the light show on the road lol but thanks for the information I am hoping to order the lights within a week I can wait to install them and have them on my mustang

I've contacted three so far that want me to pay more $ then I paid for the lights. I would understand paying $200 or around that range, but they are wanting $399-$499. I may end up returning the lights because of this.
It would have been nice if you guys would have shown a video of how to take the headlight cover off, it's a nightmare to do that btw... it take at least 2 hours per light as well.

I agree but I am in Australia, I don't think there would be anyone here doing that yet. also, I have sent you an email request around EU Mustang version connectivity of the wiring. Note: EU versions don't have an existing tribar LED set and I don't know how and to where I need to connect the pigtail wires. can you please reply to my email with instructions?

Does the RGBWA include the amber for switchback turn signals (meaning is that their purpose)? And are there any plans to tinker with a dimmable setup (via the remote) for increased intensity for daytime vs nightime driving?
+gsxrrider827, the amber chip is going to be for the sequential turn signal portion of the replacement boards. There are in fact already options to dim via the wireless remote!
