Could you post a video of advanced turn exercises? Like exercises for brackets, rockers, etc.? Or how to incorporate arm movements in turns? Your extension and arm movements are so beautiful in your skating, I feel like it's something a lot of intermediate skaters struggle learning.
This is cool! We’re working on 3-turn now actually and struggling a bit hehe - we’re actually going to feature our progress in a new video next Thursday on our channel. Will def try your exercises!
This would have been so helpful when I started learning 3 turns! I am still shaky at them so I can't wait to try these when our ice rinks finally open up again
Have you checked out this video? ua-cam.com/video/FupwZyUzI58/v-deo.html Usually the problem when you are going to fast into the circle is that your back/free leg is turned in. So turn your leg/hip out and keep it turned out.
I love ice skating but I recently had a pretty nasty fall and rn I'm scared to go back to the ice. Do you have any advice on how to beat that? Maybe some exercises that may help in feeling more confortable on the ice
Literally same just happened to me (click on my name to check my latest video on my channel if you’d like to see a relatable experience - it’s all about my fall and injury that followed). I mostly overcame it by coming back to the ice as soon as I could, even if it’s just to skate around for a bit without doing anything special - I skated with my arm in a sling still and had my partner tie my skates. It helped me not to dwell too much on what happened. Although I still have a bit of a phobia of hockey kids...
The best is to start slow, just skate around, get your feet under you. If it was from a jump, then just work on your preparation exercises on the ice and practice the actual jump off the ice. What did you fall on?
Thank you guys so much! I ended up returning to the ice and did pretty much the same things you've told me to do. I also went with some friends and just skated and chatted, which was super nice

Yes, I will do that in the future!! And thank you for your lovely words!

Yay that's awesome! Will have to check it out!

I'm so happy to hear that!!
I like this approach. Most of the knee press and upper body rotation can be learnt on two feet.
Happy you liked it! Thank you for subscribing!! 🥰
@@Sofabar You bet SofaBar! A lot of these moves are very useful for hockey skating (if one one wants be a high finesse player).
Yes! I needed this video so bad!
I'm so happy to hear that!
That rink is hugeee
Yesss I love it ❤️❤️❤️❤️
New video! I play softball currently but I don’t know if I should learn how to ice skate.
Why not!! Go for it!
Could you do a video on a one foot 3 turn? When I do outside 3 turns I end up turning into a really tight circle 😔

Hi.
Please up the video about how to power outside 3 turn sequence.
Thank you.
Sure thing!
I’m not sure why but I can only do my outside or inside forward three turns from a standstill but never while gliding
🤩🤩🤩

Wear pads, you figure skaters are a tough bunch. Us hockey skaters are cowards. I wear coccyx, knee and elbow pads.
Sind die Bahnen in Deutschland schon offen ? Oder ist das ein älteres video?
Die in Willingen ist zumindest geöffnet, ich denke mal, dass die ganzjährig geöffneten wieder offen sind.
Älteres video leider :(
we're doing 3 turns and i cant do them 😭😭
You'll get there!! ❤️
This is good. I just don't trust the process yet to do a proper 3 turn. Taking baby steps is a good approach.
Taking it slow is always a great idea!! 😊
Lovely exercises :) I will try them when our rink opens :) Thank youuuuu :)
Thank you!!
Thank you very much! Very good lesson of skating 👍. Helpful video. Greetings from Russia ⛸️❗
I already learned a 3 turn
That's awesome!!!
Great! Thanks
Happy you liked it! ❤️
Thank you so much❤
Thanks for supporting my video 🥰
