Fantastic car. Drives excellent. Love the drive modes, like sport, which makes it zoom for passing. So quiet now! Improved, comfortable seats. We have touring hybrid. The charge is cavernous, I can sit upright in it. No competition there. The front interior is large, much larger than competition. Doesn't need fog lights due to design of headlights. Excellent speakers. Don't need to pull anything, so don't care about that. No competition in terms of comfort. The river blue hides dust and dirt amazingly well. Love my remote start. Some complaints on here aren't items on other cars as well. At least Honda updates, Rav hasn't changed for 8 years other than little stuff. Rav still drives like a truck. Honda touring is almost luxury. We drove all of the competition, there is none. Our last CRV, 2001, is still going strong. Expect the same.
We have a 2024 CRV hybrid sport touring. Top-of-the-line. Has anyone else noticed how the engine sounds like it’s about to blow up going up steep grades?

We have a 2024 CR-V hybrid touring model and there’s no question that it’s noisy going up steep grades. Our previous vehicle was a six cylinder Subaru Outback and it just ate up mountains, but if we drive the CR-V up a steep slope at over 70 mph it sounds like a piston is about to come through the hood. Fortunately we live in a flat area and rarely venture into the mountains so, other than that, we’re very happy with the vehicle.
I have one CRV sport hybrid and yes , if you are outside the car you can hear is more noisy but is normal ison user guide manufacturing said more noisy than regular turbo no hybrid because have a generator,but at lowest speed is very quiet,you going to learn with the time and recognize different motor status combinations between electric status EV or both together
I'm keeping my 2021 Hybrid Touring because of that. We get lots of foggy nights during the year and fog lights need to be bottom mounted to work properly properly. Anything else is BS
Between the crv hybrid and rav4 hybrid, both trim levels equal to this - what do you go with? No spare worries me I like the fact that the rav4 has some (still not much) towing. I did just drive a non hybrid 24/25 CrV a few hundred miles and it was great. Quiet cabin. A lot of people say the rav4 is much louder. Is that true?
I almost bought honda hybrid, nice car. Did not care back seat not folding flat. The other item is it has no heater core so during cold weather your running gas engine. The minor item is they claim 36 cub in back. I measured in back and exact same dimension Subaru Foester. So unless your moving and stacking boxes.
Turbo engines = trouble and more expense in the long term. Glad I purchased the 2024 CRV Hybrid AWD Sport L trim. Smooth driving. My only disappointment is we only get 34 mpg avg. Was hoping for more.
I own the 2025 CRV AWD hybrid Sport L. I’ve put only 700 miles on it, and I drive in Eco mode and mostly city driving and I’m currently averaging 40+ mpg (if you believe the display).
Regenerative breaking, it will be the most braking it can do all the way for the paddle shifts. Shifting into B range increases the deceleration effect of lifting up on the accelerator, reducing the need to apply the brakes.
@@HawkeyeRides yes, but the paddles really don't shift gears (it's a CVT transmission, so the only "gears" it has are drive, neutral, and reverse) - it just adjusts the amount of braking you get from the electric motors that power the wheels in the electric mode.
Thanks, this review is really helpful. One question: does the sport hybrid come with remote engine start from the standard included key fob? Or is remote engine start an extra-cost add-on feature? For those of us in colder climates, it's great to let the car warm up a bit before leaving your cozy house to get in the car.
2024 Honda CRV Sport Touring bought Dec 2023. Now Sept 2024. LOVE IT. Never will buy a non Hybrid again. 35MPG DOING 80mpg on highway. Around town and mixed slow down / speed up on highway= 42 MPG! lComfortable and a dream car. So much headroom and rear seat leg room! Can’t say enough!! Get One! Free auto start on mini fob, so small I put an air tag on it. The APP has start and unlock from anywhere, love that. Drives much better than RAV4 I originally wanted. Adaptive cruise control down to stop and then start up again is awesome. Now if I can only pray nobody hits me!
The middle seat belt goes up to the roof and will not be in the way. As far as rear view camera - it's great. I came from a 2007 Corolla that even had wind up windows to the touring hybrid. This is the perfect vehicle that isn't loaded with a bunch of electronics you don't need.
Yes. It seems all automakers are losing their quality workmanship. It is sad. But I guess they figure you'll bring the vehicle back to the dealer to fix it. That's where they make their money.

I heard that the front seats have some special features when using the heat feature. Like it will automatically come on when you turn the car back on (but not on High) and it will adjust the heat setting with a regulator if it gets too hot. Can anyone confirm? Thanks
Lotta Honda Haters in the comments here! Although @Hawkeye Rides had many more complaints that "One Big Problem"! lol I agree that 360 view should be on the top-trim. Other complaints include: Cargo to backseat is not "fold-flat". The 7" base model infotainment looks instantly dated; the 9" is adequate, but does not seem like a new car in 2024. Similarly the moon roof is pretty meh for 2024. I think they figure that if you want everything, then you probably should be buying a Passport--then again, it's not available as a hybrid so..... Basically, when comparing spec sheets, the Honda may seem like a low value, depending on how you consider the resale value and their reputation for long-running vehicles.
I don’t see a lot of haters, every vehicle has pros and cons. It would be nice if they added some of the features discussed but overall Honda makes a good vehicle.
Maybe research motors before you make stupid arguments. Search even youtube mechanics explaining in detail about this hybrid engine. Without TURBO it has LONGER lifespan. Turbo is just making engine to run under more pressure than in normal situations and wears faster. Even 3 cylinder turbocharged engine is worse noisier than 4 cylinder non turbo
Rewatched this very helpful video, as I'm getting close to a purchase decision. Yes, it's hella annoying that the top-of-the-line Sport Touring is that it doesn't come with heads-up display, heated rear seats, or ventilated front seats, not even as an option. Ditto for fog lights. Also annoying is that the 2024 and 2025 Sport Touring adds nothing to the 2023 model. Normally, manufacturers add features to the minor annual updates in between the major revisions. One reason I didn't buy the 2023 CR-V is I knew I'd be disappointed if the 2024 model had fog lights or any of the other things you mentioned. But it didn't. Neither does the 2025 model. The CR-V is selling so well that Honda doesn't feel pressure to add features with subsequent model years, even features that are standard or at least optional on the top-end trim levels of competing vehicles in the same price range. On the plus side, the top-level CRV Sport Touring comes with some features that most competing small SUVs either make you pay extra for or simply don't offer. One of these is remote engine start - great in the winter for warming up your car from the comfort of your house. Another is remotely opening the windows, to let your car cool off and air out when it's been parked out in the hot sun. On other cars I've bought in the last 15-20 years, I've had remote engine start installed as an after-market purchase, either from the dealer itself or from a third party. Usually costs $500-600, but comes standard with the Sport Touring CRV.
@@Leo_seguridad Thanks for your comment. Excellent point. My 5-year-old Subaru Forester has a pano moonroof and I love it. Going back to a small sun roof would feel like a big step backward. If the 2026 CRV Sport Touring gets some of these goodies, I'll strongly consider one. There's a lot I like about them. But next summer, there will be other options. The Forester will be available as a hybrid for the first time. It's very possible that the RAV4 hybrid will get a redesign, possibly including a bigger battery. Honda better step up its CR-V game.

Why people complain about something so ridiculous about a spare tire?, I haven't known what it means to change a tire for years, whenever I grab a nail or screw the tire doesn't deflate immediately, it takes days to be completely deflated, it gives you enough time to go to a place that will repair the tire, you can ride with an air compressor in that case, and Honda also gives you roadside assistance in case something more serious happens with the tire.
I took it, and at 16,000 miles it stopped starting, and then all the errors and the check engine light came on, the car dealership said that they had fixed it, but the next day the same thing happened again. Disappointed with Honda
The Sport Touring Hybrid has no spare tire or donut tire. If you purchase a tire the only place to store it is in your cargo area. I do not recommend the hybrid model if you take long rides.
I understand the importance of safety but to overlook a vehicle for a spare tire, almost every hybrid is doing this now and most new vehicles don’t have them. The question that should be asked is when or have you ever used a spare tire? Most people nowadays don’t even know how to take a tire off or put one on or even use a jack. But having one is a nice option however if it is a big concern I’m sure you could retro fit one on the outside tailgate 👍
I have the Sport Touring Hybrid - For years I have carried a Milwaukee Inflator, even with my previous CR-V with a spare. My thinking is that if I get a "flat" it will most likely be a slow leak allowing me to inflate and have enough time to get to a tire repar place. Funny thing is....I've never had a flat since I've carried the inflator, but have helped other people out with low/leaking tires, including a little old lady at a gas station who couldn't work the pay air pump. Totally made my day! : )
