I currently own a 2017 Mazda CX-5 and a 2023 Odyssey. The CRV Hybrid is probably my next vehicle. If it had ventilated seats and a real spare, it would be perfect. Great video, BTW.
Great video! I'm 6'2" and fit just fine in the CR-V. Just picked up a 2025 Hybrid Sport Touring and love it! Just wish it had a spare tire, but I'll probably buy one from Modern Spare for long road trips.
It would be nice to have analog temperature and oil pressure gauges instead of idiot lights, tachometer, better quality center consul, better fit and finish on the body panels, fog lights on premium trim packages, and better programming of engine RPM on mountain roads (engine unnecessarily over revs during mountain road driving).
I have the 2025 EX-L hybrid Canadian edition in this exact color. Beautiful car, the tech works great and it is exceeding mpg ratings. It’s not perfect and quite expensive in its segment and no spare tire sucks but so far I’m pretty happy with the car.
@ I was getting 6 per 100 liters combined in the mild weather but only about 7.5 on the highway at 100 kilometers an hour or more. It remains to be seen how it will do in the winter. It is best around town and will dip down to the high 4s and low 5s in city traffic it depends on traffic flow and conditions I suppose. If I get 7.5 overall in the winter I’ll be happy with that. It is a pretty heavy vehicle after all.
Based on yours and others discriptions and driving demonstration, my wife and I purchased this model from Honda of Tacoma, WA. Had we been in your area , we would undoubtedly have purchased from you. Thank you for excellent guidance!
You're welcome! I don't actually sell these vehicles. I just review them. I actually go to multiple dealerships. But I appreciate your kind words. Congratulations on your purchase!
You really do a great job with your videos and truly enjoying your input. So, here’s what Honda needs to add to all of there models, especially if you live in the south, “Vented Seats”! We have a ‘23 Ridgeline RTL and it doesn’t have vented seats and we’re in Naples, Florida. Honda does offer vented seats if you live in Canada! We’ve been in the 90’s all summer long and I bet Canada didn’t have one day in the 90’s! That’s for listening, Russ
Canada does get some days in the 90’s especially in the Toronto and Montreal areas. Osoyoos in B.C. gets up to a 100 every summer. Canada is warming up a bit due to climate change.
8:15 I have been asked $45,987.43 for Honda CR-V hybrid sport touring 2025 Urban Gray with no 10 years warranty added, which was extra cost for $4+k and we don't pay tax here in Oregon. It's beautiful butbI think this is too expensive.
we recently picked up this exact car, same color. the things i wish it had, 360 degree cameras, pano sunroof, fold in mirrors, vented seats would be nice, but not a deal breaker. back up camera isnt the best either. however, it's a very nice car, and comfortable.
We bought a '25 CR-V Sport Touring two months ago and I've grown to hate the way it rides. Feels like it sways or wobbles a bit at times, and the steering isn't the greatest, feels a little sluggish or disconnected, so when you go to correct the sways, it feels a little delayed to me. The car just doesn't feel relaxed/settled on the road to me. I'm sure I'm in the minority as most people are oblivious yet apparently I'm not the only one getting this sensation based on the Reddit forum titled "Wobble on my 2024 Honda CR-V LX"
@@1MJ981 It's funny how reviewers brush this off and never mention it. Driving experience behind the wheel is lackluster, even on the premium trim. I heard the Mazda cx-5 handles way better.
@@vegetassb2944 I actually traded a 2014 Mazda6 for the 2025 CR-V Sport Touring. Loved that 6 for the past decade. I have no doubt Mazdas would drive better but the CX-5 wasn't big enough and CX-9s really aren't that spacious for the higher price tag. We also test drove a CX-50 and our kids could see better out of the CR-V. Another general issue we have with current Mazdas is they're setting their screens back too far on the dash which we found allowed some washout from the sun during our test drive. Also don't care for the dial control for the screen. Would have loved to buy another Mazda purely for driving dynamics but the other issues were dealbreakers. Btw, totally unrelated but my dad passed away 5 years ago and his birthday day/year were 29/44. I can't explain it but these numbers have strangely randomly appeared in different ways for me since then, to a point where it seems to defy the odds, so your username caught my eye.
@@1MJ981...I agree. It handles potholes really well but even slight bumps on the road and I'm just tossing and bouncing around in my seat.....suspension definitely needs refinement
Good overview. I'm comparing to Subaru Forester touring package. While I love the milage of the CR-V Hybrid, I'm bothered by the lack of a spare tire. And to a much lesser extent the lack of Home Link.
Thank you for the informative video. I am discouraged from leasing this because it doesn't have a spare tire and I live in an area where I really don't want to be without one. Overall, I am frustrated that Honda does not offer front passenger seat height adjustment like Nissan does as in some Honda vehicles I feel like I'm looking at the top 1/4 of the windshield.
hello sir how does the second row space compared to RAV 4? its a deal breaker for me coz i constantly carry 3 person on the second row. family of 5. is it slightly wider than rav 4 or roomier? tnx thoughts
@@knrz2562 Yes, really. Some of the fit and finishes should have been better on the premium model. Plus, no one wants the garbage CVT transmission. They really let the ball drop on this one.
No fog lights, incandescent turn signals in the rear, when the rest of the lights are LED and those dumb silver things in the front. What was Honda thinking.
I certainly hope you can disable or change that distracting display on screen while driving, I think it's showing the drive train distribution, gas vs electric, or whatever. I cannot imagine that on, while driving on a dark road at night. Very tacky looking too, Oh....wavy lights. What are we, 7 years old?
I bought a 2025 Honda crv sport hybrid in August 2024. The driver seat gives a backpain and the headlights are poor ( dim ) when you driver at night. If you are considering to buy this car. test drive it at night. Honda purposely put in low quality seats and worse headlights. One night, I drove it when it rained, I almost get involved in an accident because of the poor headlights and zero visibility. Honda should add fog lights. I don't recommend it to buy. I am thinking to trade it for Palisade.
Couldn't agree less about headlights. After 7 consecutive leased high end Accords, the CRV headlights are the best I've ever had, with a wider view than in my previous 2020 Touring Accord...better for spotting critters on the left side of the road. "Honda purposely put in low quality seats and worse headlight?" To what end? Yikes.

If the space in the second raw is your top priority, then CR-V should be your first choice as it’s almost the largest cabin in its segment.
