Ive been a fan of Gad for years so proud of him making the move to english and challenging himself.
I don't know how people can deal with French language, let's see : passé composé, passé simple, plus que parfait, l'imparfait du subjonctif, accent grave, circonflexe..... so exhausting
90% of the everyday spoken french = present / passe compose / imparfait and futur. A lot of french don't even know how to use any tense of the subjonctif mode (except present of course, like in "il faut que j'aille me coucher"). Anyway it's a difficult language for sure.
even french people don't know how to use half of those...
Listen, you find that to complicated...? Mmmh okay... I can give you my number phone, and teach you 😏
You should give some credit to the guy he has started from scratch performing in English I must admit he is brilliant the accent he puts is purely suburban yankee accents stop slagging off the man your are brillant GAD
@Yoni Alvarez I don’t get the drift?
@Yoni Alvarez it means he started from nothing/having nothing
Agreed! Really great job and just soooo funny 😆😅
He's actually very very famous in France he is basically number 1 but he wanted to challenge himself si he went to the US to perform in english
That's how stand up comedy should be, no vulgarity, no nonsense, and no repetitive f..k.
Shukran,merci, thank you Gad.

Most of these negative people in the comment section can barely speak their own language !!! Stop criticizing the guy and give him credits for everything he does ! He’s a Moroccan that speaks French better than a lot of French people and now he’s successful making his own shows in his third language English !!! Hats off to You man!

I didn't know Gad could speak English. I've watched most his shows in French, He's so funny
His english is very good for a french actor, very fluent imo
"It means you are too Old..." Now that's a REAL friend right there! Ha!
Making people laugh cannot be stolen. like the Mona Lisa, you can copy it but you will never steal it.
Of course. But your analogy just doesnt make sense. If you wanted it to make sense, we'd have to imagine a place where very few people know about Mona Lisa, then some random guy would copy it and become rich and famous thanks to something he copied... There's a reason why copyrights exist. Though, it saddens me knowing he's got good acting and impersonation skills
@@dgrob6460 but joke copyright doesn't exist, because Federal copyright laws protect the expression of ideas but not the ideas themselves.
Doc MISS Yh, as it seems you only see the mistake I made, there you go.It’s called plagiarism, my bad, which is a form of theft. Same shit. Anything else?
@@dgrob6460 can we call the copy of a joke or two during a sketch that lasts two hours or three a plagiarism, and canceled the career of a great comedian because he copied a few jokes?

I don't think I've ever laughed so much watching a stand-up.
Quite surprised you're uploading this guy's material. He's been exposed for stealing jokes and he's been MIA on french TV and comedy clubs for a while. Paria.
Really? I haven't heard about that. Is that old news or new?
Well he must have thought that Americans would never find out, they don't speak French anyway :D
He did a show here in the States in May 2018 at a club I worked at. I just finished writing an abridged version of the events in a separate comment, but tl;dr, most of the crowd was from all around the francosphere and Jesus, they were an impatient bunch. I went back there in August and saw he was on the schedule for sometime this fall.
I don’t think he lives in France anymore
@@Quantum_GirlE this year ! On the Copycomic channel on UA-cam, he stole a loooot from France, USA, Canada, .... It's a shame he's still invited to JFL.

Simple trick, killer comedy. Comedians are geniuses
This guy played a show at the suburban comedy club I used to work at. People were flying in from Europe to see him, and we think they were literally just coming for his show and then immediately going back. People kept showing up with luggage bags and asking if we had a spot for them and we just went "uh... no, why would we?" I was seeing driver's licenses from as far away as Madagascar and Mauritius. Dozens of people who left their passports at their hotel rooms were pissed at me because I was in charge of telling them that we couldn't legally accept non-passport foreign IDs as proof of age (they're too easy to fake). And when the show ended a dozen people were milling around in the lobby waiting for him to come out for over an hour and I had to lie and say, no, he didn't already sneak out the back way 45 minutes ago; we basically had to force them out (they told me I was rude for telling them not to stalk a celebrity and condescendingly told me to "think about the way you talk to people" and I'm still angry thinking about that) and they were still standing outside the doors when I left well past midnight.
Wow, and i thought at first that his career would end if he moved to the US.Very sorry for the way those people acted
People love to project don't they
Only Gad got more than 650k views in this channel the other videos are at 5 k wow 🤩 Gad is great
What you’ll never hear in France? Your own jokes Gad, your OWN jokes… 😒
ouch 😂
I haven’t laughed in like two years thank you to whoever posted this
Everyone is complaining about this guy stealing jokes. If you have balls, do the same. This guy is making people laugh and making money. I don’t care if it is a stolen joke or not as long as it is funny.
I hope one day someone will steal your work and make money out of it while your struggle. Then maybe you can understand why it is unfair.
Forso if you truly believe there is fairness in this world you are mistaken. When it comes to money and fame there is no place for dignity, principles .... and fairness. Fairness is just a argument that poor and people use to express failure and seek compassion. So well done Gad and sorry for the poor and the weak.
@@MsHandbreak Of course there is fairness in this world ! Otherwise, there wouldn't be any law. Then again, it's not about fairness to another comedian (who btw are not all poor), it's about fairness to the audience who watch your show. When i go to a show, i expect an original content not a translation of another show ! And THIS is misleading and unfair. Because Gad can't really create original jokes, if you check his improvisations in french shows you can see that he is not better than a drunk uncle. Let me remind you, he is literraly ban from some stand-up stages so you can imagine how far he went in plagiarism !
Well if he got more popular telling the same jokes as them it just means he's better 🤷♀️
I think he deserves his fame cause he's the one who acted the jokes , if it wasn't him I would never have heard them so stopp the hating pls.
You guys never heard about coincidence and inspiration ?
I'm sad that I live in a world where I could think of a joke now and maybe someone abroad could complain that this is HIS joke ..
@@akimodia1838 You really need to see CopyComic's video (video that revealed his plagiarism). It's not just inspiration he is really stealing jokes and he is ban in canada for that. Also i don't hate him he may be a really good person but he need to be honest and work hard first.

maybe you should start listing to Moaz Al Nass for example this video "In Praise of the Prophet (SAW) - Nasheed by Mouaz al-Nass"
Unfortunately Moaz passed away 5 months ago, but left enough material for us to entertain ourselves when we need some relaxing moments. He also has a big brother who does the same work and both him and his brother do this work with a lot of joy "Ya Hanana Bi Muhammad ﷺ - Munshid Ibrahim al-Nass"

Waw waw a sahbi you are putting too much stress on all sylables. Take it easy😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He is the best!!!!!! Gad, I love you, je t' aime!!!
He said "Thank you Montreal"
Asks a girl out for a drink - "I'm Down".
He thought she was depressed.
At first, I was convinced he made this up "I'm down" = sad/depressed. However, the expression 'I'm down" is on many American TV shows in Europe.
On the other hand, from his perspective, if you are not entirely familiar with the English language, the assumption could happen (earlier in his career, nervous, etc.).
[Too long for such a basic observation.]
*edit, he did it on purpose and this was entirely calculated.
Translation of a sho I've seen in French now he did to English ,I love it thooo ! he added USA vibes
As a foreigner in the us this is GREAT!
"this guy in the cab was correcting my accent and he was Indian..." baaaah, ha ha ha!
his problem is he is using same style of jokes that makes french ppl laugh to english speaking ppl, totally different cultures . he is funny in french language but english he is just okay.

@@thefaydou91 hein??
He sounds like Trevor Noah speaking German. 😂
he's doing so much effort to speak
Because of the sketch subject. He starts with "english is a hard language for french...", so most of the comedian acts they try to show the struggle of their main character (in this'case french people have a hardtime to speak and understand english ). Since he is french it gives to gis act credibility by forcing and stumbling upon his act to showcase it to the audiencd. Gad actually speaks fluenty english you'can check intrrview with conan and others.
That's probably because he's Moroccan and French and in not so long ago he wasn't able to speak English
