For me, there are just now enough words to say how wonderful you gentlemen are. There just aren't. You are the epitome of Gentlemen. And kudos to your moms. You can be a hoot and you can be R rated but at your core you are 2 genuinely kind and generous and loving young men. I have loved this channel from the beginning with just Kevin and I remember one of the first episodes where Ray used the little kitten project bag that his mom gave him and I have loved every bit of this journey. Your wool and folk episode did you proud!

You guys are the best. I wasn’t at the hot mess on Friday, but I can’t stop reading about the horrors the vendors experienced. The inaccessibility and lack of safety is appalling. I’m so glad there were no emergencies. ANYWAY, I have made one purchase and will make another as soon as the vendor I’m following has their update. Also, as a Mom, I would have loved the onesie and hat. Depending on when the baby is born, she may appreciate the warm layers just so she can take a walk and get out of the house. Kevin....I love your clue one. I used my own discretion and stayed with the original clue one, as I was almost done when it changed...and I'm ok with my decision. But if I would have re-done it, I would have made the same choice you did. I love your colors, especially the Wedding Mint!

Ha! The weather "that's stupid" 😂That's the pasta dish I am making for dinner--the creamy butternut squash sauce! I make the butternut squash puree in na big batch and freeze what is not used. There are several versions out there. Happy weekending and making.
We love butternut squash, we should definitely try a puree of it.

Marvelous idea to have your family members choose a sock tube. Here's an idea to make to even more fun: create a "secret "Santa" list and have each person (secretly) choose a sock tube for their secret Santa recipient (and even choose the contrast heel and toe colors if that was in your plans). Then, when each person opens their completed pair on Xmas Eve or Xmas Day, the colorway will be a complete surprise and they'll have to guess who chose their colorway. :-)

I have one of those folders you showed that I thought I would use for organizing circulars (but haven’t) and got the idea to just get paper and make thst my knitting journal do I could easily take pages out. Always learn something in addition to having fun 😊

Guys. I meat to comment on last night’s video. Thank you for choosing to honor the American Association of People with Disabilities with your generosity. They are among the foremost advocacy organizations in this country and work a lot in the areas of civil rights, and education. Additionally they do a lot to foster the leaders of tomorrow for our community, to ensure that the advocacy will continue into the next generation and beyond. So much of our yarny community isn’t accessible. It’s not just the crazy-ass events gone wrong. So many of our yarn shops are not accessible. “Charming” and “Historic” are usually code words for not accessible. I implore people all the time to ensure accessibility when planning events or activities. And frankly, I find that unless someone is personally affected by the need for accessibility they don’t often care. It makes me sad. I appreciate you both and the point you’re trying to make here. Now let’s all move on to building a knitting community that is truly inclusive of everyone. Love you guys!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

First of all, I am a crocheter, so I am so pleased you also include crocheting on your channel. Secondly, I love that you include your "mistakes"! OMG, I have yet to make anything without an error in it. So when I made my first hat, it was too big and slouchy! But dammit I still wear it because the yarn was expensive. My second hat was with a non superwash local wool yarn. I used an easier pattern. Still made booboos😅. Plus, the fold up brim started stretching out! I had to devise a slightly decreasing trim to add to it. Sigh....😊. I need to attend a crocheted hat workshop! But thanks for also admiting to your booboos! Well done with your tubes. While you were all cranking I was adding cuffs, heels and toes. 7 pair’s completed. I got a standard leg and a shortie trainer sock out of each 50g using contrast for cuffs, heels and toes. 🎉

I love how you guys are supporting the knitting community and especially those vendors from W&F. I went to a small festival here in Maryland, Frederick Fiber Festival, yesterday, and got to talk to a few vendors that were vending at W&F last weekend and heard from them just how bad things were. I think it's just so wonderful to see everyone rally in support of vendors. Thank you. Kevin had me rolling when he said a dwarf hat. Ray, another option you try for your hat is felting it a little. Also, go back and rewatch Aquilla's Socktober episode on different heels! She shows a few techniques that close that hole! Her videos have been so educational!

I do all of my socks on 9” circulars. Double points are my nemesis and I only use magic loop for anything but socks😂
DPNs are definitely not our favorite either, we are a 9inch circ and magic loop house.

I just saw you. I can't believe I am with you two again! AND, that's not a bad thing. It's super! Once again you have picked such nice projects and yarn colors. I was with my daughter at our double hair appointment. Our stylist will be moving to Georgia next year so I was bummed. While she was combing my daughter out I noticed the male stylist was knitting while he waited for his next client. Well I was delighted! We talked and shared our favorite knitters and to he🏒🏒to my old stylist and he will be my new stylist! Guess what? His name is Kevin too. I told him about you two. His partner weaves and is an art teacher. They went to Rhinebeck. I'll have to book two sessions back to back so we can talk knitting LOL. Now that's my new acquisition LOL!

The beanie can also be turned into a dog coat - tink back to where crown started and start leg holes etc. I’ve done this before when the ribbing was too tight so my dog got a groovy sweater

Hi guys, great episode, I feel like my finish objects are similar to Ray's , I also finished sochenette hat which was hibernating for 4 years in my bag, I also finished fingerless Spiderman mittens for my son. By the way Yarndale runs near me (skippton) , it is in Yorkshire ( quiet away from London ) I didn't manage to go this year , but I remember one year going there with a pram and my son in it :) and it is in marketplace where they keep lifestock :)

I had an idea to share with Ray for his needle felted dragon and keeper. Could you swap some of the blue material in the dragon kit for some purple of the keeper and use them in the opposite kit, so they would match?
Oh you guys crack me up! Could you try a hot water wash in the washing machine to shrink the Earth Sockhead Slouch? Of course, keeping a real eye on it and checking it every few mins.??? Might shrink it just enough to work well. Just an idea... 😊
