Next to that filter at the two edges of the motor youre suppose to put gasket marker under the edge of the headgasket and on top. Unless i missed it in the video its gonna leak.
Are you talking about that torpedo filter?
@ajmccreary167 no next to it at the end of the block with the two ears that sticks out. You put gasket maker under the two ears of the block and on top of the headgasket itself. At 2:44 of your video you can see the two ears of the block that I'm taking about.
It pains me to say this but no we forgot/ didn’t know about that..
@ajmccreary167 damn man. I know it's gonna suck but you should go back and do it. It's bot worth it. You can reuse the geadgasket . Better now that later when the engine is in the car.

How did you get the engine out? Did you go through the top or did you drop the sub-frame?
I'm replacing the engine on my 09' Lancer this summer. Debating what's the easiest way to get the engine out.
In a previous video it shows us dropping the whole subframe with motor and trans 👍🏽
