Scotch It! You scotch gods.
Phenomenal pour IMHO.
thanks baconator!
Nice squishing there Scott. Thought I was underwater there for a moment! 😂. Tried all of the new core range and cant say that I’m that impressed compared to the previous range. But maybe the bottles need some time and air. Keep on shenaniganing dummies. 🥃
Just picked this one up from Costco.
Honey, tropical youthful, this one the first I got it's still kind of was Young. Lime in the Coconut. Beautiful! But it does not cost as much as this one does 😂 It's good. But not for money.
Scott's right, do you indeed put the lime in the coconut, and then stir it all up. :P
I thought it was drink it all up
"Brother bought a coconut, he bought it for a dime
His sister had another one, she paid it for a lime
She put the lime in the coconut, she drank 'em both up." - Harry Nilsson
Ba-boom
Nice. Winner winner chicken dinner.
Lime in the coconut Nelson right?
Right
A piece of misinformation there regarding chill-filtration. In fact, you can chill filter at any abv and whilst most don't above 50% abv, some do. Examples are Jim Beam and Wild Turkey in America and Glenfiddich and Balvenie distilleries in Scotland have been known to chill-filter at above 50% abv. Their argument being that if they assume that some will add ice, even at 46% abv and above, there will still be some cloudiness.
Now, another myth is that all chill-filtration is the same. In fact, there are various levels from light to heavy chill-filtration, depending on temperature level and types and amounts of filters used. According to my sources, the Sandend is lightly chill filtered. It is matured in a combination of Bourbon, Sherry & Manzanilla casks, and because of this complex combination of cask types, E150a colour is added to ensure a consistent colour from batch to batch.
Glenglassaugh may have received a new rebranding but they are, IMO, still stuck in and old Scotch Whisky mindset.
Perfect, great information! Thanks RebMordechai!
She put the lime in the coconut, she drank 'em both up.
now i have that song in my head...
The friend’s name is “Portsoy”, very good…. More like a cousin …
I believe this was the Whisky Advocate whisky of the year. Obviously you don't quite agree. Cheers Bart and Scott
Ha! Bingo.
😁🥃
It’s good, not memorable. The Portsoy is the top of the new range imho. Salud

Looks like you guys are doing the review based on a neck pour. May be better to drink a little and let the whisky open up before doing reviews
We’ve discovered some whiskey that opens up after getting a few weeks/months of air but prefer to pop the top and taste.
