Your videos have that special something. Not to mention the impeccable state of the cars you present and own. That shows real respect towards your viewership - the length you go to for us to see these beautiful vehicles and their best possible forms.
You are one very lucky man! It is also very fortunate that such a beautiful car came into your possession, as you are one of the people that can truly appreciate it. I am sure that you will take very good care of it.
You are probably my favorite car channel every on youtube, thank you so much for giving such in-depth videos of these absolutely fantastic cars, you have my respect for such taste. Also, love how you put old NFS soundtracks in your videos!
What I like about mercs is they age very well, the 07 CLS63 still looks modern, some argue about the mid 00's headlights on Mercs, But whilst not my favourite, they still look good. but the CLS shape has aged very well IMO.
Wild how your cls63 stock cold start sounds better than when I was stock cl55. After a resonator delete I think its neck in neck. Really temped at the new cls53's while not a true AMG they're still pretty quick and luxurious. Going to test drive an e53 (much easier to find) near me soon so I can get a feel for the platform.
Preferably a X218 Shooting Brake AMG 63S... I own one and it's performance is next level to the original CLS63... I've had the limiter removed and it will hit just shy of 200mph/ 320kph... The dash to 100kph is around 3.3 secs... As with all AMG CLS models the performance and handling is achieved whilst driving in the most comfortable and luxurious surroundings... Beast of a car when you want it to be and just as happy filling the "Miss Daisy" mode at all other times... And with the Shooting Brake version, a beautiful looking car that rivals a Maserati for visual drama...
Great video, great car. Bear in mind that Car & Driver measures times with 1 foot of roll-out. Therefore, that 12.6 s means 12.9 s REAL 1/4 mile time. Did you measure 12.57 with or without Roll-out factor?
Very few four door sedans become sought after classics but I think this car and the last classic Jaguar XJ (with aluminium body) have that potential. I know this shape is controversial (the successor was much more traditional Merc, very good looking though esp. in Shooting Brake) but I have always loved the looks of this original CLS.
I have an E63 2011 and I am also very satisfied. The only major problem I had was a gearbox mecathronic issue that I had to replace and reconfigure. Have you ever heard about this problem ?
Danke für das Video und die Zahlen. Zum Vergleich, mein CLS 55 AMG fährt (nur mit Fahrer) 0 - 100 4,6 sec und 100 - 200 9,4 sec. Er ist bis jetzt 128000 km gelaufen. Verbraucht allerdings auch "etwas" Öl. Welches Öl fährst Du? Grüße aus Deutschland
I don’t like pushing my cars that hard from a dig. I’ll lean on them hard from highway speeds but I feel punching it hard from a dead stop is unnecessary abuse on the driveline. Just my 2 cents.
This is the High Point of "Modern" Mercedes / AMG styling. Classic lines. Great "arcing" shape. Speed. Power. Luxury. Looks FANTASTIC 15 years after release. Where have we gone from there? I have a 2020 GLC 43 (AMG) and Mercedes will practically GIVE me one of the new EQS models on a Trade. Why? BECASUE THEY CAN'T GIVE THEM AWAY!!! Nobody wants them. I've driven them multiple times and my emotional reaction is "eh". Who cares? Not Stylish. Not sexy. Not an upgrade! I'm sticking with my GLC 43. What do you guys Think?
The w219 is fast and agile even in 2030 for it's weight and the sorta' ''lazy american'' v8 european version imo it handles the same as my f10, w211 isn't really that fast though, like you feel the pick-up is there but you can for some reason feel it's sluggishness and when i asked znd lookrd i read that some share the same opinion on forums and Facebook groups everyone prefers the handling of the w219 compared to the w211
shouldnt the video be called, is my CLS63 AMG still fast after 4000 miles? or do you think nobody would click because they would already know the answer because its common sense. pointless.
You've got an 18 year old car with a miserable 4,217.9 miles on it. Are you crazy or is that car just not fun to drove. I have a 2002 W211 E320 with 136, 000 kays on the clock & that car IS fun to drive. I also have a 1994 W124 E280 with an astounding 478,000 kays on the clock. Anyone else tell me what Mercedes is a pleasure to drive apart from the W211 E320?
I would only compare stock to stock. 100-200 in 9.45 seconds with the CLS63 is faster than a b9 RS5 per AutoTopNL which was 9.9 seconds. S4/S5 is around 12 seconds.
One of the prettiest sedans ever ever ever made!!
It's actually a Coupé with four doors
Yes a 4 dr coupe

May I ask what camera & lens combo you're using? I love the slight bokeh.
Very interesting point you made about the Builder!
Still the best shape of CLS
I agree . The w218 wins people s eyes because of taillights and headlights thats it . If you see them
Both inperson you realise it .
It’s the interior where it lacks
This was the car that got me into cars. It’s still my dream car to this day.
Likewise 🎉🎉
Hope we can get one before the prices skyrocket. Future retro classic for sure
When cars were electric and cheap like today's hatchbacks

18 years and it still looks gorgeous
I am the proud owner of a 04 e55 and I Love your honest and informative videos
You are Mr Mercedes 😅
Timeless beauty and performance!
I love watching your videos. I'm still sad you sold your Black E55 but seeing Mercedes AMG makes me happy all the time. God bless you.

Great video of a beautiful car!
I can’t believe the same builder has made the engine of my Designo S63AMG W221 V8 BiTurbo Performance pack!
Nice to see the CLS63 getting some exercise! Love your shots man, super high quality!
I love your cinematography on your videos. It's so sharp and smooth. Combined with the music it's a very distinctive look for your channel. Love it!
Barely legal mercedes 👀
😂
🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Ah haaa! 😂
AMG "ALL MONEY GONE" , but still loving it !!
I've always wondered what AMG stood for :)
Gosh that looks so good
Bro has THE cls63💯🔥

What a car! That cold start at the end... ahhhh
Crazy that these cars are already 20 years old!!

This engine mated to my e39 m5 6 speed getrag would be a dream come true!
What a sick vehicle.
Best Benz design .
Gen CLS still looking good almost 20 years later
A dream car man I wish I can own one one Day!
You need to do a review/video on the C218 CLS 63 AMG 🙏🏾
Preferably a X218 Shooting Brake AMG 63S...

An incredibly timeless design and quality car.
The video shooting and editing are very nice. Which camera did you use?
Panasonic S5 with Sigma Art 24-70 2.8 lens.
thanks
Amazing video, amazing car!
Beautiful car, awesome engine.
Very nice example.
Lovely car 👍👍

The tires are also wider on the back of the CLS which I think contributes to the better time.
A more aggressive tire to bring that 60 foot down would do wonders
What an engine
Thank you love watching the videos
Безумна динаміка, навіть не зважаючи на вік авто☝🏻
Третя з найкращих Мерседесів, що була створена: SLR, SL65 Black Series, CLS
Best mercedes benz
18, jeez time flies..
I think aerodynamics played a part in your trap speed. The mid 2000's Mercs all have smoother shaped body lines than later models, like the E63.

Mercedes the one and only 🥳
Still a beast
J have W211 E63 AMG,my record on the highway in Germany...317 km/h...but on gas Aral 102 oktans.
0-100 4.4
100-200 9.38
Regards
I am using 93 here which is equivalent to 98 EU ron
@@AMGmeister me too,always 98
eines der letzten hübschen Mercedes Modelle.
So cool.
Sold my CLS55.
Mistake.
I have a 2009 CLS63 AMG and still get daily compliments....!
I don’t like pushing my cars that hard from a dig. I’ll lean on them hard from highway speeds but I feel punching it hard from a dead stop is unnecessary abuse on the driveline. Just my 2 cents.
my homie got himself a cls500 not a week ago. what a car.
he's albanian they love mercs so ya know bro gotta ride albanian way.
He need to test it for reliability
What do you mean, it's a 2024 model year. The fugly EQ lineup was released in 2007.
And here I am stuck with a 2006 S350 swb. 😑😮💨
*Has anyone put those rims on a facelift W212 E63s? Would love to see how it looks. Those are among my fav rims from AMG!*
Cls55 is the one I like
Did anyone ever do a dyno test on the CLS/E/ML/CLK/SL/S63 with the M156 to see if they really produced different power figures?
This car has less miles than way newer cars I have, obviously it can still make the power if it has good fluid and a well maintained powertrain.
Hey random question did you ever had issues with the headbolts failing? Did you ever get them replaced?
Where to find a car like this exactly with a low mileage
How are the head bolts on your car, changed already or...
what is the name of the app you use to measure acceleration times?
Amgs are the best,
Facts!
What tyres? Newer designs can improve on older stats from 20 years ago
Saw the milage and almost passed out
How I know that's there is drama in the acceleration?
you think these cars will go up in value ?
Serious question: Can I buy your CLS s63 from you? What's your asking price?
If you shift in the manual mode the shifts will be faster in the cls

Dont worry about the oil lamp?
Oil lamp?
Yup but the reality is to keep these cars running cost a small fortune unfortunately
A 20 yo design, and still looks drop dead gorgeous. I miss the golden era o AMG, now everything is so vanilla and boring...

How is it still less than 5k miles? These cars were meant to be DRIVEN
18 years????? jesus christ
💖💖👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💖💖
even after 100 years this cars will be same fast, not like the small engined garbaje "cars" today
What is that in mph ?
Tests are all done in Mexico. 🤣🤣🤣
Fast by today's standards? No. But quick.

I smoked one of those on a roll with my b9 s4 audi last week

Those times are all bs did you go down a steep hill those times are faster than stock 😂
So happy to own this car . I got it around 3 months before you did . So when you announced it on youtube made me happier . 🤍
