Fusso 99 won. Next paste wax battle: Because of the hefty price tag I'd like to see Angelwax Enigma paste go against Fusso. Even the small 33ml tin of enigma is pretty pricey. Is it justified? Hmmmm Thanks as always!
Great match up Brian, thanks. I think Fusso holds on to the crown. Very close until the end but Fusso outlasted the other two on protection. How about AW Enigma?
I have seen on another Fusso review that it’s hard to work with below 60 degrees. I have been a Collinite fan simply because it’s cheap, easy to work with and I actually prefer more frequent wax applications. I gives me a chance to look over my cars paint for any damage and a little physical workout as well. But one thing about a well polished and protected car is that it seems to stay clean a little bit longer.
I have a lot of experience with original Fusso. I’ve used it in varying temperatures and have a good feel for it’s behavior. Give it another chance. My own opinion with some of these durable products is that many detailers expect to have all boxes checked with the experience; I don’t. Fusso takes skill and time to master. What you get in return is protection that in common daily conditions is nearly indescribable. Water? Soap? I laughed out loud the first time I revisited the car after nailing the application of Fusso. It is worth trying for that experience alone. I’m guessing you know full and well that a 95%-plus quality correction greatly impacts the perception of any product applied, and I believe it is key when using such an aggressive one like Fusso. To me, I’m protecting my ‘real’ work, versus making up for it. Last thing- When in doubt, apply Fusso like it’s smearable. Like Crisco, or snot. And then wipe it off very well with a soft MF towel 10 seconds later. If you’re in colder weather, 3-5 minutes tops. I’ve NEVER done better with it waiting any longer. If it doesn’t feel cured, then keep going with the towel until it looks removed. THEN follow up again with a clean towel. It’s all worth the trouble. Hope that helps, if at all.
Fusso for the win!!! I have it and use it! It is extremely strong and durable! I use it for my hood roof and deck lid and I use turtle wax ceramic spray coating for the sides and both bumpers as well as glass and it works fantastically!
476S makes a lot more sense than 915 when comparing to Fusso. My understanding is the "S" in 476S does indeed stand for Synthetic. 845 is a Hybrid/Blend, and then 915 is basically a pure carnuba.
Hi Brian, a great wax comparison! I’d like to mention that I’ve been using Collinite 885 Marine Outboard Paste Wax on all my vehicles since 1980 and I like it best over Collinite’s 476s and Collinite 915. For the price of Collinite waxes, you simply cannot go wrong!
Thanks for the effort and time that you put into making this video, Brian. IMO, its not necessary to use so many different chemicals because each subsequent chemical you used, was facing a weakened fighter. Its like a boxer having to fight with 4 different fighters...one after another. Suggestion: Just use 2 common detergents regularly encountered: 1. Dishwashing detergent. 2. APC. ...coupled to a dwell time of 10mins WITH agitation.
I would love to see a review of Race Glaze. There is not even a mention of it on UA-cam, so far I absolutely love it. It is extremely user friendly and leaves the paint extremely slick. It sheets water like a ceramic coating and it's been around since the mid 70's
I was very happy to see the old dog, 476, holding its own especially with initial water beading. It's my winter wax. My car is rarely ever cleaned during the winter like it is in the summer. It does really well holding off the salt and stuff and is still there in the spring. Great video Bryan. For me, for my use, can't beat 476. 2 coats a day apart-ish before temps drop and I'm set all summer. Just powerwash the Michigan salt. Fusso is looking really good. I have a tin but haven't used it yet. Have many products I have yet to use. Need to find other people's cars will to test some lol or I'll never get to them!! May have to rethink my winter wax now....
Thanks for making these videos! When I first bought Fusso there wasn't much info around to compare it to other sealants. This will be really helpful for future buyers. Fusso is really really great.
Fusso Soft99 for the win! It has been a great addition to my arsenal. When I first got it no one heard of it and I stuck with it. Fusso and Angelwax Enigma!
Brian, please add Finish Kare FK1000P Hi-Temp Paste Wax to your next go around. I like it more than Collonite. It holds up well to NY winters, and on dark colored (black) vehicles in summer. Also, it's hard to beat the price. Don't know if it will beat Fusso, but it's a popular wax with a following. It would be fun to see how it stands up to your tests.
Can you make a video putting some ceramic coatings through the same tests you are using for these coatings? Or even comparing fusso to a couple ceramics?
Hey Brian! Thank you for such a great review! I already shared your video with the gang from Puris and told them to get back to the drawing board! Looking forward to your reviews on the rest of the line-up! Keep up the amazing work my friend!
Fusso Coat is mad OG , I got the King of Gloss as well. I’d like to see what it does on the gloss meter . But Fusso coat really out lasts anything in its price point. It’s been around for a while and can be topped. If you can’t afford a coating Fusso coat and Seal and Shine will get you through .
I love the Fusso coat in the door jams especially and they are now a breeze to maintain, but I also use the TW seal n shine in those places too. It's great to have awesome products to use to keep detailing a lot of FUN!!!!!!
I do this as well. When detailing is the last thing on your mind and you’re hustling in and out of a car…that’s when you really appreciate how well it stays clean.
Fusso. What’s funny, I detailed my Acura TSX last summer. I used the Wolfgang twins on a 3401. Orange and white pads. I used exo v4 to seal it up. It sat in the garage all summer. I started driving it in November. Didn’t wash it at all through the course of the winter. I live in Connecticut. It snowed a few times. The car had salt sitting on it pretty much all winter. I wanted to torture test it. Well, it failed miserably as it had the coating burned off or, eaten off from where the salt was. Anywhere else, it had good beading. Not great. I’d heard to get the best result, I have to use csl first, then exo. I wasn’t impressed spending $100+ and having these results. I’ll definitely look into fusso. I’ve tried Collinite. It’s ok. Time to go find some fusso. What a great video. Very thorough. Liked and subscribed. 😎😬. I’ve been detailing cars since I was 16 years old. You can always learn more from others. Trying new products is always going to be an obsession. Stay well, stay healthy. Thanks for sharing this. Jay
I've been using fusso for the last 12 months...I've read lots of folk say it's hard to remove , not had any issues with it myself..bilt hamber is worth a look too .great video btw.
Great Video comparison! After watching your videos I have ordered the TW seal n shine from amazon even though it costed 45usd to ship to Mauritius . I will use it as a base layer and top up the Fusso for a maximum of protection. Thank you for your videos my friend. Very useful! Great Job. Keep it up!
Superb video and test Brian. You are the best. If not price but performance counts......Fusso vs swissvax shield vs zymol glasur. Can fusso beat the big guys ??????
Really glad you’re enjoying the Fusso, Brian. Curious that you’re testing Puris, they actually use that line a lot here in Puerto Rico both in bodyshops and in detailing environments. Their coating isn’t the best to work with, but if you ever wanna try another “Carpro Essence” you should give their Jade Caliber a try. It’s got some really nice cleaners in it and is extremely user friendly. It’s one of those polished were two drops is enough for half a hood.
Interesting how fusso behaves differently on this panel compared to a previous video. That one spot in this video on the right side of the fusso section seemed virtually untouched throughout the testing
Fusso takes the cake. Our to to protection for our value packages. We cut in with seal & shine and the rest gets a nice coat of Fusso coat. PTFE is so incredibly strong in this formula
Great videos but I suggest changing your heat gun method, when you finish your first pass go back to where you started instead of coming right back over what you just heated.
Great video again buddy. After prep, compounding , polishing etc, what gives the highest gloss level. Irrespective of longevity, whether it be a wax , quick Detailer or any other topper you can think of. I’m sure a lot of guys on here would be interested in the results only you could obtain buddy ❤️

No idea if anyone else has picked up on this but, fusso coat is the product name. The company is soft 99. All other products Brian says company name first but with soft 99 fusso coat he says it the other way round. All in the details 😉
Sorry, I know this is an old video, but I have a question. Do you recommend against top-coating Fusso with the intention of increasing the gloss/depth appearance (e.g. Shinee Wax on top of Fusso)?
The reason to use Fusso is to get it’s long lasting hydrophobicity. If you top it with Shinee, you will instead have the hydrophobic characteristinfs of Shinee. If that is what you want, then why not just use the Shinee and skip the Fusso altogether?
My opinion is based on quite a bit of experience testing this. I’ve used Fusso on both clearcoat and silver (plated brass instruments). So, not saying I’m a big deal, but I’m confident on this topic. Fusso on ‘perfect’ paint, properly applied is nearly unbeatable as a base. Follow that up with a ceramic spray like Griots 3-in-1, and the reflectivity you get is bananas. I’ve tried many spray-based products that I feel are more amenable to going on substrates beyond clearcoat, and Griots has a really unique gloss characteristic. I bought Wolfgang’s latest equivalent paying twice as much, and while the application was easy I was not impressed with the gloss. Bottom line- Fusso for protection on a truly-corrected panel, followed with a fairly-durable gloss-focused product is worth the effort. Fusso doesn’t ‘pop’ like more modern products, but it is like nail polish in is effective resistance to the elements. It’s worth experiencing.
Hello Brian, although I am a couple of years late seeing this vid the Fusso Coat comparison compelled me to mention some things relating to the prominence of chemicals in the auto care industry. I respectfully do not intend to use your channel as a band box or specifically single out Fusso (although I consider it a bucket of chemicals) as I'm sure there are other (don't know specifically) other similar car care products containing fluorocarbons. I'm not a scientist or chemist but please know that PFOA's are EXTREMELY hazardous chemicals. They are being or already banned in the "other" wax industry which is skiing. As a driveway detailer and former Nordic ski racer and coach those waxes containing fluorocarbon additives where particularly nasty to work with. There are dozens and dozens of studies not only from the Scandic countries but worldwide on the negative effects on the environment and human body from these chemicals. I earnestly feel that we throughout the detailing communities who use a wide array of products that do or may contain these chemicals should be aware. I urge all to take note and at the very least be aware of product content, use proper ventilation and wear gloves. I am in hopes that this is accepted in the spirit that it is intended. I respect your work. Thank you.
I think Fusso needs to get put up against Sealants!!! It's not even fair to compare it to other waxes even if they are heavy hitters!!! Put it up against Jescar PowerLock!!! That should be a pretty good showdown!!! I don't know if I've seen anything on UA-cam clearly beat Fusso Coat yet. I'll be ordering some to put on my Blacked out F250!!
Collinite has had its day a while ago. I wish people would stop recommending it as the most durable wax. It is far from it these days. I would suggest testing Wowo's Nanocoat wax. It is expensive however.
I'm starting to like the fusso wax. However, what top coat waxes and or sealants are good on single stage paints , and old lacquer paints. Most if not all tests are done on a base clear. I'm trying to find something good on soft jdm 90's black single stage paint.
great point, it also may be relevant if the car is japanese, european or american made...the clear coats all follow different rules on manufacturer pollution thus must have differences, and bond differently
I’m a Collinite 845 king of guy for ease of use. But if I’m doing a friends car that is only going to get something once a year this is a great option.
Dear sir, please do you remember ,when you did in oldest video the test of sonax PNS,.......there was any increase of the gloss on the panels? Or products such PNS do not provide any gloss improvment because they are finishing products with no fillers and haze process???????thanks
I enjoy your testing methods. I use Carpro Reset as my favourite car shampoo, love to results from it. A question about the heat testing, does it do any long term damage to the paint?
which is why hes using a temp gun, if youre careful you wont go beyond what a real harsh sun can do, but you sure could burn the clear coat, then its unfixable
I have Been using fusso for 3y now, pros are long lasting and relatively easy to use. Cons are that idk is it only me or idk but it seems to leave greasy marks when u wipe it off, best seen on Black Cars. Second thing is that when using winter it picks salt and it stucks very hard on the waxed surfaces. I am gona get collinite next to try it out👍
Fusso is the champ it will be hard to beat alternative to coating it performs like coating it has 110 degree contact angle there not a lot wax or paint sealent that deliver. Great protection that does have ceramic coating in it fusso will defend it title
Yes, very interesting how the products react and bond to different clearcoats. Which clearcoat (hard/soft) did each panel have from this test and the other test with Fusso vs. Seal and Shine?

tw has several points: it wasnt really beaten by fusso (edged), its as sooo close, 2, its not a wax, it doesnt leave white markes in gaps, and is great on plastic trim, thus a ton of work saved, and yes the price, at 1/10th the price of many of the comparisions, and easy to find, speed of application.....
Brian, I have a contender for this test....Klasse Sealant Glaze👍 When I first bought this product many years ago I was told the trick on how to apply it, are you familiar with this product?
@@apexdetail85 that would be great because it's often forgotten product and I really wanna see how it does. I know you said to everyone it isn't your first rodeo but I've only applied KSG one way, so I'd love to see how YOU do it 👍
I own all 3. For durability fusso wins For looks and application I love the 5th element. I honestly don't like enigma. Just don't get on with it. If I could only chose one I'd go the 5th element. Hope that helps you.
@@Rmf8 I have all 3 as well. I've only used the enigma on my hard tanneau cover for my raptor. It held up well, but I agree with you, I like 5th element better. Looks great and seemed to hold up well. Fusso has always held up amazingly for me as well, but its so hard for me to apply lightly and I've also had trouble with it streaking. Both have seemed to hold up over the harsh IL winters here and I'd like to see how they hold up in a controlled test
OK? So who won? If I watch 10 videos with these same three waxes competing against one and other, I will ten different winners. It's all a matter of opinion. I own all three of the waxes involved, and I use each of them for different things in different cars. You can spray all the water you want on a coated hood, and try to see which is more hydrophobic, and if you ask ten different people what they think, you will get a different answer from each. I may say collonite, and you may say Fusso. The gloss readings were too close to call a difference so what it boils down to is what you can afford, how long each one lasts IN THE ENVIRONMENT WHERE THE CAR WILL LIVE OUT IT'S LIFE, and ease of use. Yet Collonite may be easier to use in cold weather then the other two, but horrible when it's muggy and hot. There are so many variables that go into how well a product looks, acts, and does it's job, videos like this are completely useless. Fusso may last 12 months in Idaho, but only 3 months in Arizona or Maine. Just buy the product you can afford, prep the car properly, and enjoy laying down some wax. It's a great way to get to know the ins and outs of your car. Just remember that detailing your car is supposed to be your therapy, NOT THE REASON YOU NEED THERAPY!
And the winner is......?
Fusso Soft 99 , Tenacious Protection !! This is my go to product for Harsh Canadian Winter !! :-)
Fusso clearly.

Oh yes...it does greatly increase gloss.
I am gona get collinite next to try it out👍
Is Krud Cutter a good prep spray for pre protection? In other words, is it paint safe in your experience?
Скажите пожалуйста, а нужно ли смачивать губку водой перед нанесением воска? Спасибо
Good god Brian I got to get me some Fusso for my car. Fusso Soft 99 and TW S&S are a must have in my arsenal.👍
Fusso is the champ it will be hard to beat alternative to coating it performs like coating it has 110 degree contact angle there not a lot wax or paint sealent that deliver. Great protection that does have ceramic coating in it fusso will defend it title
Top Video! Fusso hands down!
How long should one wait in between coats of fusso coat? Would the solvents in the sealant soften the partially cured first coat of fusso coat?
Fusso is the winner! Thanks for another great video 🖖
Fusso ✊For the win 👍🏻Great matchup Brian ✊
Yes, very interesting how the products react and bond to different clearcoats. Which clearcoat (hard/soft) did each panel have from this test and the other test with Fusso vs. Seal and Shine?
That was ford clear...moderate hardness.
@@apexdetail85
Thanks! 👍
thx for your work, top of detailling channel really : , From europe I see only 1 wax to compete sofft99 fusso -> in2Detailing Ceramic Crystal Wax 200g
Love Fusso coating! its just not fair. Its a PTFE coating. not a wax.
It actually does have paraffin wax in it. Since Teflon can't bond to the dry paint, I'm guessing they've suspended Teflon in the wax or something.
Hi Buddy,
My Name Is Vivek Bharti From Punjab In India
I Bought A New White Colour Car 6 months Ago With My Hard Earned Money.
And I Have Seen A Lot Of Video's On UA-cam Related Carnuba Waxes To Protect The Paint Of My Car, Every Company Says That Their Product Is Good.
Please Suggest Me Which Carnuba Wax Will Be Best For Car Paint protection so that the car paint remains safe for a long time ?
Because It's Very Valuable For Me.
Please Suggest Can I Go With
1) Meguiar Ultimate Liquid Wax
2) Meguiar Ultimate Paste Wax
3) Turtle Super Hard Shell Wax
4) Turtle Ceramic Graphene
5) Meguiar Mirror Glaze 26
6) Fusso Soft99
Or is there someone better than these
I Have A Lot Of Faith On You.
Thanks In Advance
Give bilt hamber double speed wax a try.
That is hard to get here....unfortunately.
what i dont like about fusso, its only in paste and i have to do it by hand
another great video again buddy. still think t.w seal and shine is still the best buy.
tw has several points: it wasnt really beaten by fusso (edged), its as sooo close, 2, its not a wax, it doesnt leave white markes in gaps, and is great on plastic trim, thus a ton of work saved, and yes the price, at 1/10th the price of many of the comparisions, and easy to find, speed of application.....
@@jusb1066 that was my point 2 EVERYONE about this product.
Brian, I have a contender for this test....Klasse Sealant Glaze👍 When I first bought this product many years ago I was told the trick on how to apply it, are you familiar with this product?
I still have my bottles of klasse twins(aio and glaze) that I bought 6 years ago but I think fusso outlasts it.
I think I have some...I will check.👍
@@apexdetail85 that would be great because it's often forgotten product and I really wanna see how it does.
I know you said to everyone it isn't your first rodeo but I've only applied KSG one way, so I'd love to see how YOU do it 👍
I'd like to see a real word test of time on a vehicle ,fusso on 1 side and Collinite on the other puris on the hood.
I'm not sure I saw that fusso dethroned SnS 🤔
I agree... I think it may have been a DRAW.
Brian, you should open a detail training class.
Next year.🙂
Fusso is the winner again.🏆 Sensei Brian.
Fusso Soft 99 seems miles ahead and I was a collinite fan.
Love the green C4!
Cheers!
Fusso wins. Next test: fuso vs angelwax enigma vs angelwax 5th element
I own all 3.
For durability fusso wins
For looks and application I love the 5th element.
Both have seemed to hold up over the harsh IL winters here and I'd like to see how they hold up in a controlled test
worth noting- I just have the sample tin of enigma. I bought a full tin of 5th element.
How does Fusso Coat compare to Angelwax Guardian or Enigma?
Dont worry....they will compete soon.
1. Fusso 2.Puris 3.Collinite
The Puris wax is how much?😮
The Puris is a 14oz tin, so technically, ounce for ounce, it's the same price. You're just getting twice as much...
Very good job.
Brian where did you get the thermometer you use
Harbor Freight....I believe.
Can you put Fusso Coat on top of PPF?
I have puris wax been using for a while it’s solvents are safe for coating fusso solvent not so good. Fusso best it here but it a great line puris
I enjoy Puris products. 👍
Can you bond fusso with collinite?
OK?
Why do you hold judgement in the end?
?
Fusso sof 99 vs jescar power lock plus!
Doesn't Nu Finish last longer than all of these?
Would like to know that answer as well
Can you put vonix car care blend against fusso?
Sure!
Fusso Coat still in god mode.
Fusso vs Moonlight
great video
Fusso vs swissvax??? 🤔🤔🤔
Oh yeah.
Fusso is a beast!
Fusso again!
Fusso cost one but u need to let it cure at least a day
