As always, this looks stunning. I've loved this curriculum for 5 years now and continue to love the new editions and lesson layouts. I'm super excited for the mommy and me style readers in this level.
My youngest, Charlotte, has enjoyed this set immensely this past year and is sad that the book has ended. She plans to read the books again over the summer. Thank you for creating good quality content that keeps kids engaged and wanting to learn! My 4 girls look forward to schoolwork because of your books, no joke! They've never enjoyed schoolwork more :)
Can't wait for this! My boy has had such a hard time learning to read. He's finally starting to make progress, going into 3rd grade. We will be doing this with him this coming year and I'm so excited!
By boy has really struggled with reading. I looked at the high dollar dyslexia specialty curriculums, but as I researched them I realized that the good and the beautiful used the very same techniques as the high dollar options. I backed son up about 2 levels and had him do 3 lessons per day. This searverd as a means to fill in the gaps in his learning. The repetition was helpful in cementing already learned skills. He came up almost 3 grade levels in about 6 months. Plus it is Godly, plus you can try it free ?!?! Thank you Jenny!!!!
@@valeryclark That's amazing!! 3 levels in 6 months! I feel like my son is on the verge of a breakthrough like that. Hopefully this curriculum will push him through. 🙌
Thank you for your interest, @@christinahotchkiss3486! We would suggest that you start with the Placement Test found on our website to help determine the best level to start. We hope you love the courses and invite you to email support@goodandbeautiful.com with any questions you may have.
Awesome!!! Love the changes you have made. We can’t wait to start. My daughter has down TGTB since PreK and is finally starting to be confident in her reading. This is going to be perfect!!
Super excited! I love the changes. We’ve been using good and beautiful language arts for 3 years. I was considering other options this year but with the changes. Omg! It’s like your reading my mind. Everything I was concerned about has been addressed
We’re almost done with the current level 2 and this makes me wish we could do it all over again with the updated version 😍 I’ve been looking into a lot of Language Arts curriculums recently, just to see what else is out there, and nothing, I mean NOTHING, has come close to being as beautifully done as TGTB.
My son also just finished the current level 2. He's going into 4th and is now an excellent reader so i gave him the choice between Levels 3 and 4; he chose to just move onto the Level 3 because he saw the Level 4 has a lot more writing. I love the updates to the writing in this new Level 2 and I'm looking forward to my youngest daughter advancing from Level 1 to 2 with the new updates across the levels.
Thank you for your support, Chrissie! We have more leveled readers on the way, with My First, Second, and Third Africa Readers scheduled to be released in the future. We do not have estimated release dates at this time so check back again soon!
Hi Jamie! Thank you for your interest! We do not have an exact release date yet, however, Language Arts Level 2 will be releasing this month, July 2022! Please stay tuned for more details!
Beautiful! You may have said and I just missed it, but when will the new edition be available? The website says July. Does this video mean it’s available? If yes, can someone help me find where to order it? I can’t find it on the website. Thank you!
My little girl is in love with the new language arts books, we need the old version of level k, now we are doing the new level k. The phonics cards and readers are awesome she is only four and is excelling, she loves the nature aspect.10/10 recommend

I love the readers. My son is reluctant to read books because it takes so long to get through each page. I read aloud to the kids a lot. This will be a nice push I think.
Update....We just finished "Wesley and The Wolves" following the pace in the Booster C cards. My son is reading faster than when we started the book and can read for a longer period of time before getting worn out. Looking forward to the next book! The course book is also amazing. We have learned so much in just the first 17 lessons.

This looks so, so fantastic! I love all the changes and additions. My child just finished the discontinued Level 1 course but I see a lot of the lessons in the new Level 2 work on the same concepts. How much of the scope and sequence are the same for those two courses? I'm wondering if we'll end up skipping a lot of lessons.
I would probably have your student take the placement test and then go from there. They’ve realigned some things and have some new guidelines based on the students age, reading ability, etc. As for repeating concepts, TGTB’s LA uses the spiral method. So you can expect your student to circle back to previously reviewed concepts in order to refresh/build upon them again and again. Both within a given level and in relation to the level prior to and after the current level. Hope they provide an answer too with some further clarification for you! Good luck Momma!
Hi Paige! We are glad you are excited about the new course! As your child completed the original Level 1, there will be no problem moving to the New Level 2, although much of the first unit of the new Level 2 will be review for the child, and the child may be able to move through the lessons more quickly. The new editions still teach almost all the same concepts and topics just as thoroughly, and in many cases more thoroughly. This is the difference: we teach the concepts in a more gentle way that is age appropriate for the child so that the child does not get overwhelmed. We hope you love the new courses!
Hi there! Our Homeschool app does have a Level 2 section. You can find it by looking under Language Arts then Level 2. We also have a Level 2 section on the Letter Tiles app that can be accessed on the home screen. If you are unable to see these areas on either app they may need to be updated or removed and reinstalled. Should you need further assistance, we are happy to help via email and can be reached at support@goodanbeautiful.com.
Looks amazing! I bought the old version at the start of the year, do you know if I could transition to this version half way through old version? I’m in Australia so school year from January to December.
Hi Jodie! Because there is a totally new scope and sequence, switching partway through a course can be difficult. If you do want to switch, we suggest starting on Lesson 1 of the new course edition and, if desired, you can skip lessons or parts of lessons that contain concepts in which your child is already confident. This assures your child will not miss any foundational concepts. Some children, especially those who may struggle with the current edition, could benefit from a switch in the middle of a course but that will depend on your child. The current edition is well loved and used by many! We hope you are enjoying it too!
Thank you! Yes, my son loves both your language arts and maths. We bought the little hearts and hands science pack too which we will dive into this term. It looks beautiful. Your reply was very helpful 🥰 thank you
Are the Reading Booster C Cards and Reading Booster C Books incorporated into the lessons of the Course Book, aside from the 8-12 minutes of practice at the beginning of each (or most) lesson?

I would love to see a video about how to choose curriculum level for a child in this situation. Thank you so much. I am loving all of your new curriculum release videos. I’m looking forward to starting our homeschool up again soon. Until then Happy Summer!
Hi Gretchen! Most of the phonics and reading instruction for Level 2 (and Level K and Level 1) is in the Reading Booster Cards and Books and could be skipped while focusing on the writing, reading, and other language arts foundational concepts found in the course book. We do offer the full courses for Language Arts Levels K-8 as free downloads on our website. We highly recommend downloading the courses to see which level will fit your daughter. Have a wonderful summer!
