I love that the booster cards are in a beautiful book not as flashcards! I feel like flashcards have a negative feeling as soon as they come out, but my kids haven't fought the challenge word climbs at all.
We're looking forward to trying this level. It looks fun! And I can attest to your words about making a good writer. After using TGTB LA for 4 years and reading lots of good books, my older daughter is now showing what she can do. My husband thought she was trying to trick him when she started reading her last story aloud to him- he was convinced it was a published story.
Y'all are simply amazing. Thank you so much for all that you do, your programs are so well loved by our family and I am beyond excited for my rising first grader to have TGATB for his language arts (and more!) May God bless you all for your tireless work for His glory!!
I love that reading advancement is encouraged!! My reluctant schooler has still progressed so much each time we take a break in work books because of reading!
I am looking forward to using the new level 1 with my younger son this coming year. My eldest son was such a strong reader by the time he finished the previous level 1 book. It really sparkled a love for literature on him. Thank you so much to everyone at TGTB, your work is truly amazing and blesses so many families ❤️
We did the older version this year with my 2nd grader, and my younger girl just finished kindergarten level and I’m getting her this one. I love it!!! And I also loved the older version too. I’m torn lol
Thank you Good and Beautiful. My youngest is just about to finish the old version but with all the new things added to this new version, I think, we will do this level instead of moving to the next level. He doesn't like reading and writing so this will really help him. We switched to simply math and he is flying thru them very quickly. He just loves it. Its not a dread anymore to teach him. May God continue to bless you your work. You are indeed a blessing to our family
This is our first year using the good and the beautiful language arts as well as math, and I absolutely love the ease of use and so do our children. So thankful for this curriculum, not only is it enriching but it's also easy on the budget.
This has me soooo excited for the level two preview!! We love your products. It changed our homeschool experience for the better and it’s so encouraging to see my daughter excited to learn and growing! Thank you team 🥰
I've taught the old Level 1 course with two children now, and I love the changes to the new Level 1 book. I can't wait to use this with our third this next school year!
I explored the homeschool app and am amazed and so happy about video books, art audio narrations, and answer keys all right in one spot!! Very excited to see how this works!
This looks amazing I cannot wait for the update for my twins to start level 1 we love the Good and the Beautiful and really appreciate the free pdf downloads thankyou so much
The writing sections look so engaging and fun! If there’s one thing I have trouble with in homeschooling, it’s getting my boys to enjoy writing. This eases my mind and I think it will be a great fit for our family! 😊
I was sooo hoping that you would do the forever binding on these new sets! Our pages always fall out or rip out of the ring binding, but I have loved the binding in the new math, it has held up great.
This looks wonderful! Where do we find information on how to transition to the new edition? I.e. My son just finished the old Level K will he progress to the new Level 1 or will he make the jump to the new Level 2? Thanks!
After using levels 1 & 2 for a little while, I feel that the booster cards and books should also be found in the app, along with e-books for reading available for purchase. There is so many benefits to using the app, and although there are many kids that just can’t learn on a screen or makes it more difficult for them to understand while on a screen, there are benefits to having it on the app. First it will condense the amount of paper and products needed (can be included as an add-on while purchasing), second it makes it much more mobile. Currently we travel with the primary course book, the reading book, booster cards and booster books... for each kid. Would love to see more things available electronically as well for environmental reasons. Love having the course book because writing it important when learning, but when reading I feel like it could be condensed
This looks amazing! We purchased the old version at the discounted price for next school year but now I’m torn if I want to use it. Did anybody have lack with spelling or any components with the older version?
Hi Kaila! Our previous editions have been well loved and used successfully by many, many families. Using the old version or the new will be up to you and most families choose based on family desires, budget, and what will fit students best. We hope you will take the opportunity to review the samples when they are available to make the best choice for your family!
Hello Evangeline! Thank you for your interest! We are currently working on creating a new edition of Level 3 that will be released in early summer 2023. Stay tuned!
I'm not on social media, will the release date be emailed out as well? Or shared on here? I'm anxiously awaiting to hear because I need to get curriculum ordered. So excited!
Hello Cindy! We do not have an exact release date available at the moment, however, Language Arts Level K and 1 will be released this month, June 2022, and Level 2 will be released in July 2022. We suggest continuing to follow us on our social media pages and consider signing up for our email newsletter on our website to stay informed of updates and new releases! We hope this helps! goodandbeautiful.com
This is going to be our first year with TGTB. As a former teacher and mom to a 3rd and 1st grader, I'm excited to try this program. I keep waiting, not as paitently as I probably should, for this version to be available. I hope it's available soon.
Would you say then that a phone/computer are absolutely necessary for the new courses? We often school without either thing with us, and I don't like having to lean on technology to teach!
Hi there! The app resources are highly recommended to enhance learning and pilot families, even those who do not use screens in their homes, were raving about the videos, video books, and spelling resources. Most parts of the courses can be completed without the use of our apps, but some parts, especially geography, and some highly effective spelling rule videos require the use of the Homeschool app, but those parts can be skipped if desired.
Now I just have to hope these are still available when I have the money for it. I'm the kind of person that needs a physical book when I teach my kids. But I am very grateful that at least there are the free pdfs if they go out of stock before I can save up the money for Levels K and 1.
Ready to order, when will it be available? Loved the level K this year, can't wait to move into this new edition. Simply Math 1 has been a blessing, moving on to Math 2, and would love to order all together. Any Ideas for when the sciences will be available, was so hoping to add science in the fall?
Hello Becky! Language Arts Level 1 will be released in June 2022! Some Science units have recently been released, including Science for Little Hearts and Hands: Fields and Flowers, Paleontology, and Safety! More Science units will be updated/released throughout the summer and the fall. To view the schedule for our new and updated Science units please see our website. Just click on the "FAQ's, Helps, and Extras" blue button on the Science & Health product page for more information! www.goodandbeautiful.com/pre-k-8-curriculum/science-health/

The app resources are highly recommended to enhance learning and pilot families, even those who do not use screens in their homes, were raving about the videos, video books, and spelling resources. Most other subjects do not include an app portion. Math 4 and above do include videos for most lessons and our Science courses do have videos in some of the lessons. Thank you for the suggestion for Kindle users! The Letter Tiles app is currently available as a web version and our homeschooling app will be as well. This may be helpful to allow access on any device.
Thank you for your interest! Our current edition of Language Arts Level 4 was released in late 2020 and aligns with our Level 3 and Level 5 courses. We do not have an estimate on when Level 4 will be updated at this time.
Hello Danielle! We're excited with you! We do not have an exact release date yet, however, the Language Arts Level 1 course will be released in June 2022! Hi Melissa! Language Arts Level 1 has now been released and is available on the website! You can find it here: www.goodandbeautiful.com/products/level-1-language-arts-course-set/
Hi there! The new courses include a Course Book, Reading Booster Cards, and a Reading Booster Books Set. There are no longer readers in levels K-2. Instead, the Booster cards and books help children master phonics principles that boost reading speed, fluency, and confidence. The cards and books also help children master sight words, which are high-frequency words that often cannot be sounded out. Keep an eye out for information about upcoming optional readers that can be used to accompany the the course.

If my child is finishing Kindergarten, but has not mastered reading yet, should we start with the A reading cards and books or can we just start with the Level 1 curriculum with B reading cards and books?
Hi Heather! For children who are not able to pass the Level 1 Placement Test which assesses reading level, we strongly suggest the child complete the Reading Booster A Cards and Reading Booster A Books Set before retesting and beginning the Level 1 Course including Booster B materials. We hope you love the courses!
Hello Dilnazka! The Language Arts Level 1 Course will release in June 2022! Be sure to continue to follow us on our social media pages and consider signing up for our email newsletter on our website to stay informed of updates and new releases!
My son is entering 1st grade next year but passed the level 3 reading assessment. Which level do you recommend we go with? I don’t want to overwhelm him.
Hello! If your child can pass the reading assessment for a course level higher than his corresponding age/ grade, we do not suggest skipping to the higher level course. There are many spelling, grammar, literature, geography, and reading concepts taught in each level. There is no benefit to your child being ahead of a level and missing all that information. If you want your child to move to a higher level course more quickly, we suggest doing one-and-a-half or two lessons a day and/or doing lessons five days a week to get ahead and skipping parts of the course the child already has mastered.
Hello. I have a son who I taught to read with phonics pathways by Dolores hiskes. I have used tgatb language arts preschool, K and 1(1/2 way thru 1) and tbh with you ( and this is not meant to offend in any way plz dont take it that way) because we did phonics pathways last year, he is now reading at what you guys have in language arts 3. I want to do these in order but he is very bored with the readings and I truthfully just skip the phonics stuff now. My question is this: have you considered offering a standalone grammar unit study for kids that already know how to read ? It seems like the first 4 levels of your books are just phonics and he is well passed that. Again this is not to judge, I love your content and I want to use it but at the risk of my son getting bored with it and becoming uninterested in learning I'm seeking advice and ideas from others. Thank you in advance P.s. we are halfway thru new math K right now and he LOVES it!
Hi there! We are so glad to hear your son is enjoying the curriculum! With our new editions levels K-2, the phonics principles and primary resource to teach reading is separated into the Reading Booster Cards and Books. Other subjects such as grammar, spelling, writing, and more are contained in the course book which also contains some reading review. The Booster Cards and Books allow the child to progress in reading as fast as he or she feels successful and challenged. If the child finishes the Reading Booster Cards and Books before their course book is completed, the child can move on to the next set of Reading Booster Cards and Books while finishing the course book. To challenge an advanced reader we also suggest supplementing with books from The Good and the Beautiful Book List that are on your son’s reading level, reading books that are two to three levels higher than his personal reading level and switching off with a parent every paragraph or page, and/or having your child listen to audiobooks (from The Good and the Beautiful Book List) that are two to three levels higher than his reading level. We hope this is helpful and that you enjoy the new courses!
Thank you very much for the information !!! I might switch to the new release since its more contained, like you said. This is all great ideas, thank you again.
My daughter is a mix of both the level K and level 1. Of I got the K we would start more than half way thru it but I don’t want to wait until this one comes out bc we want to start now lol!!
We are so excited too! Because there is a totally new scope and sequence in these new courses, switching partway through a course is difficult. If you do want to switch, we suggest starting at the beginning of the new course edition and, if desired, you can skip lessons or parts of lessons that contain concepts in which your child is already confident. This assures your child will not miss any foundational concepts.
It seems that all the pain points we've experienced with this level 1 (we are almost done) have been addressed in the new version (at least for my child) and now I am thinking of ordering the Level 2 new version instead of using the old one (that I purchased at discount before). Thank you for improving these components especially the spelling!
I’m planning for someone to do a full flip through video and compare page by page with the old version I have. Based on that I’ll decide which one I use.
My son has grown in leaps and bounds with reading and I cannot express my gratitude for your curriculum in this!
I love that the booster cards are in a beautiful book not as flashcards! I feel like flashcards have a negative feeling as soon as they come out, but my kids haven't fought the challenge word climbs at all.

Looks great!
@@TheGoodandtheBeautiful thank you!! Can’t wait
It seems that all the pain points we've experienced with this level 1 (we are almost done) have been addressed in the new version (at least for my child) and now I am thinking of ordering the Level 2 new version instead of using the old one (that I purchased at discount before). Thank you for improving these components especially the spelling!
Kerennnnn 🎉🎉🥰
❤
Who else is so torn between the two versions??
Yes! I see the good and beautiful in them both.
Me! I have the old level 1 but now I’m seeing this and highly debating purchasing it
I’m planning for someone to do a full flip through video and compare page by page with the old version I have. Based on that I’ll decide which one I use.
@@LeniGirlyI'd like to see that also.
Can’t wait to order! 😊
