Okay, I'm crying now. The Good and the Beautiful has been such a wonderful resource for my family! When I first started homeschooling, I was SO overwhelmed with curriculum choices. But when I heard about this curriculum, I felt a draw towards it. I've been using The Good and the Beautiful for 3 years now, and it has helped to transform me from and overwhelmed and unsure homeschool Mama, to someone who is confident in my abilities to teach my family. I have watched my oldest child blossom into an advid reader and lover of books, and I've got to experience the wonder in teaching my children to read. I get to learn alongside them. Jenny, you are a blessing. I’m a 72-year-old grandma on Social Security teaching a nine-year-old granddaughter. This is my third year. If it weren’t for your free curriculum, I would never be able to do it. Before I searched whatever downloadable curriculum I could find and it was a hodgepodge. We’ve always included our Bible readings so this was perfect for us. I do print the free downloads and then I have her look at the iPad if she wants to see the color pages. Right now I’m trying to catch up on some things but I plan on working on buying the curriculum later. I can’t tell you how happy you made me when I found The Good and The Beautiful. I’ve been using this curriculum for 4 years now- it’s the best and I recommend it to everyone- we are Jewish and are living in Israel now- my kids are in school, yet we are still using TGTB after school to keep up with English- this video made me cry so much and I am so glad we found such a Godly curriculum written by such sweet and humble people! When I clicked on this video to learn more about this curriculum, I had no idea I would be in a puddle of tears. I’ve homeschooled my oldest 2 now 22 and 19 but I have a 6 yr old . We did public Kindergarten because I’m tired but it was an awful year. God started tugging on my heart to homeschool her. Every child that does this curriculum is a flower in your garden! Gardens take work and time and energy and pruning. Sometimes the actual work of gardening makes us want to quit, but the final growth and beauty of the flowers makes it worth it. Thank you so much for all you do!! I am a homeschooling mom of an elementary and high school student. I started using the Good and Beautiful with my daughter mid year last year because she needed a more hands-on approach that virtual education couldn't give her. I prayed so hard for something new for her that she would love. After her first math lesson she looked up at me and said, "Mommy I love this so much". I knew right then that God had answered my prayer! As a teacher in a private school for 23 years this is by far the BEST curriculum on the market!! This year God opened the door for me to teach 4 other students for a sweet family. My recommendation hands down for them was The Good and the Beautiful!! I am scared to homeschool, keep homeschooling really, because I feel like I don’t have any idea how to do this everyday. But hearing that you too struggle and have patience and trust in God, makes me know that I too can do this. Do not be afraid.. I was afraid also... I was using another curriculum..abeka... And felt overwhelmed... After slowly incorporating this curriculum I have found it to bring peace to my day..knowing that I didn't have to keep track of all the separate teachers books and the children's books... As a previous English Language Arts Teacher, and now a homeschool mom, this video wrecked me in EVERY GOOD AND BEAUTIFUL WAY! YOU are BEAUTIFUL, and I would TOTALLY be willing to give with NO RETURN to fund your God-given mission! This morning, I was a wreck because we are struggling financially, and I asked myself, "God, should I just go back to teaching?" I then saw this email I got my answer. I feel so unqualified and want to quit on most days because I feel I am not doing what I should. But then, as I listened to your story, I was also reminded that some flower beds have thorns. We work through the trenches of raising our children, but if we faint not, we WILL reap a harvest! Thank you!
Our oldest boys didn't really need a curriculum they are very independent but our younger boy really struggled, we wasted hundreds, but this curriculum was it for him. From tears to reading. Great curriculum! Okay...you are in tears, commented before finishing...our son wasn't just struggling with school we ALL were recovering from my husband's military injury that's left him basically with no life. I couldn't explain how much easier your curriculum has made our life. Just imagine a parent losing their health, their ability to even pick up a jug of milk, their job, their dreams, and then trying to homeschool a child who was upset and tired and needed simplicity. I felt like I couldn’t homeschool. I didn’t have any support beyond my husband. My parents are against homeschooling. Our friends all send their children to public school. But God has told us in our hearts to homeschool. It’s so hard to find the right curriculum. And The Good and the Beautiful made it possible. My children are thriving. I am in your boat...I satrted homeschooling my 9th grader at the onset of the COVID oandemic due to financial constraints...EVERYONE in my community especially my "friends" are against it yet I feel called to do this. Only God has been giving me the courage to go on and not look back. Everyday I am a better homeschooling mum...and yet every day also the challenges get even tougher. I am withdrawing my 2 younger children from public school at the end of the year but I have already started using the free language arts curriculum for them already and I am determined not to look back. TGATB is new to me...yet so precious I feel like I have discovered gold LITERALLY...and most importantly I have found my purpose...to teach my jewels the beauty that is Jesus Christ. So keep on keeping on...I will uphold you in my prayers for strength and courage...we only need to hold on to HIS promises because they are yes and Amen.

I was reluctant because I wasn't sure if I would would be able to service all the needs of my autistic son. I was moved to tears by your video today. I am completely new to your curriculum, and I honestly don’t know anything about it. I am a veteran homeschool mom of 25 years. In June 2020 I officially finished homeschooling my third child, and we prepared to send him off to school. The month before, the day after Mother’s Day in May, I found out that I was pregnant with my fourth child. This was a miracle baby that we never expected. In the middle of corona, at the end of a very long season in my life, I was faced with the prospect of another 20 years of homeschooling. This mama‘s heart is so tired, and discouraged on many fronts. Your video today gave me a small spark of hope. I will be 64 years old when I am finished with the active parenting phase of my life. I’ve been doing it since I was 20. I thank you for continuing on even when it was hard. I will definitely be looking at your curriculum in another year or two before we begin pre-K with our little miracle baby who was born at 26 weeks gestation. Bless you and shalom.

Oh Jenny! I'm in tears! This past year has been so hard on my family. We had to sell one car to pay off another. The belt seems tighter every time we buy groceries or pay bills. I have been fighting depression and anxiety that I had already overcome. I never wanted to homeschool my kids, but my eyes were opened to how a public education wasn't only failing but also harming my son. He was the kid that would do nothing in school but observe. He knew if he didn't do his work the bell would ring and he would still get to go home and play until his teacher complained. Anyway, it's been a struggle to teach him for that reason. I've been feeling so useless and wondering if I'm doing more harm than good by making such a drastic change...for him and for me. I see jobs that I am more than qualified for that would double our income if I put him back in public school. Things would be so much easier financially. It really is a sacrifice, and one that is often thankless, misunderstood and misrepresented. Thank you for what you do, and thank you for this beautiful message that kinda pulled me out of my misery and certainly made me cry like a baby. 😭 P.S. I have also shared your curriculum with anyone with ears to hear me! One mom from my homeschool group got the language curriculum for her kids upon my recommendation. She and her littles are immigrants from Ghana. 😉
I'm not crying, you're crying!! I just can't believe what an amazing person you are. I was first introduced to you through your music. There was a year that I was a youth group leader for the teen women in my church, and we used your CD for that year that included the songs like Honest, Happily Ever After, etc. I can't help but think of the words to all these beautiful songs and how God was preparing you to go on to create this homeschool experience for yourself and all of US. You didn't have to listen to that calling, but you did, and for that I am forever indebted and grateful.

I recently had twins and I felt like continuing with TGATB was just too much for me to keep up with with my older kids. I tried 2 different other curriculums but I honestly didn't feel good about either of them. We recently switched back and both my kids tell me they can feel the difference in their schooling and don't mind the extra work or time it takes them. I'm so grateful for your sacrifice Jenny. Today homeschool started out rough. Most days feel that way, but I know that what I am doing is so important in the lives of my four children. Thank you for all you are doing to provide such an uplifting curriculum. Thank you for sharing your story. It lifted me up today when I just wanted to throw the towel in and say, "I'm done." Your curriculum has made this challenging journey so much more enjoyable.
One step at the time. Our homeschool days is not always a butterfly pretty. Give your kids a sorksheet and read to them, or they read to themselves and you take it easy. Your children needs you in the long run.
It's good to hear that not everyone is having picture perfect homeschool days :). Most of our days start off rough too. Transitioning from morning routine to starting is difficult. Keep going! In the long run we'll be able to look back and see all those golden moments and the overall tapestry of each day. I think it'll be worth it!

Pero pequeño detalle, estava en inglés! Así que no fue una alternativa en ese momento y seguí buscando tarde otros años y volví a toparme con tu curriculum, vi tus videos en UA-cam y uno en especifico donde cuentas en cómo creaste este curriculum y la inspiración que recibiste para ponerlo gratis, eso toco mi corazón y supe que no tenía que estará buscando más y gastar mi vida y mi energía, y seguir en el desorden en nuestros estudios, sentí que debía hacerlo aunque ha sido un poco abrumador por el idioma pero hemos sido persistentes y a mis hijos les encanta. This is beautiful! I know the curriculum gets love and hate. I must say , it’s working great for my family. My oldest is kindergarten and I’m newer to homeschool with 3 littles and a 4th on the way. Even when I don’t feel great, we can get through this curriculum and feel accomplished. I pray many blessings over this company and the seeds they are planting globally. Oh my word! This video had me in tears! I am from South Africa. I came across Good and Beautiful when I first wanted to homeschool during the pandemic, but seeing that there are so many curriculums, options and that we are in a different country, I just did not go with it. I have soldiered through with various resources and getting to points where I also wanted to just be a gardener (a story for another day) and here God brought me to this video as I journaled this morning. What a blessing. What an amazing story! Thank you. I think God is also trying to tell me to go with what my heart was pulled towards in the first place. I have had many sleepless nights trying to figure out what would be best for my daughter's education. A friend recommended The Good and The Beautiful a few years back when I had mentioned looking into schools, and now We are ready to make a commitment. I watched this video just to hear the back story and now I am crying because I won't have to worry about how we are going to pay for her school books. We will be starting the pre-k curriculum in the following weeks and hopefully we will be working in Kindergarten books by the fall. My daughter is 3 and already doing some Kindergarten stuff but I want to make sure the foundation for a good start is there. We fell in love with this curriculum by accident (I downloaded it because it was a free, temporary fill-in while I searched for something "permanent") and it has turned into the greatest blessing for our family. It makes me feel confident that my children are getting the best education and helps me teach in a loving way. Such a beautiful testimony. You ARE a gardener and you’re truly changing families for generations. I learn so much, while teaching with TGTB, and the foundations my children are being taught will follow them into adulthood and future generations. Thank you!!! Because of TGTB my 7 yr old is now reading! She was in public school during her kindergarten year and they closed half way into it for covid. She missed a great deal of her foundations, especially in reading. Then at the completion of 1st grade she still struggled a great deal and could not read. I asked that she be held back and repeat 1st. They said she didn't need to. So I pulled her out to begin homeschooling. It was apparent they were not going to help and just let her slip through the cracks. Within 2 weeks of level 1 TGTB she was reading!! After a month she was reading INDEPENDENTLY!! I cannot thank you enough!!

I'm Italian, I live in Italy as well. Here homeschooling isn't a thing and 99,9% of people don't even know about this possibility. I have a 3.5 yo daughter and when she was born I knew I wanted to teach her English language even with my broken English. A started watching UA-cam videos and I discovered the amazing world of homeschooling. I started to do some research and I found TGTB. My daughter is quite ready to start a formal curriculum but I've downloaded the math and language art curriculums and as soon we'll be strong enough and ready we'll start the adventure. Jenny, you are a blessing. I’m a 72-year-old grandma on Social Security teaching a nine-year-old granddaughter. This is my third year. If it weren’t for your free curriculum, I would never be able to do it. Before I searched whatever downloadable curriculum I could find and it was a hodgepodge. We’ve always included our Bible readings so this was perfect for us. I do print the free downloads and then I have her look at the iPad if she wants to see the color pages. Right now I’m trying to catch up on some things but I plan on working on buying the curriculum later. I can’t tell you how happy you made me when I found The Good and The Beautiful. When I clicked on this video to learn more about this curriculum, I had no idea I would be in a puddle of tears. I’ve homeschooled my oldest 2 now 22 and 19 but I have a 6 yr old . We did public Kindergarten because I’m tired but it was an awful year. God started tugging on my heart to homeschool her. Thank you so much for all you do!! I am a homeschooling mom of an elementary and high school student. I started using the Good and Beautiful with my daughter mid year last year because she needed a more hands-on approach that virtual education couldn't give her. I prayed so hard for something new for her that she would love. After her first math lesson she looked up at me and said, "Mommy I love this so much". I knew right then that God had answered my prayer! As a teacher in a private school for 23 years this is by far the BEST curriculum on the market!! As a previous English Language Arts Teacher, and now a homeschool mom, this video wrecked me in EVERY GOOD AND BEAUTIFUL WAY! YOU are BEAUTIFUL, and I would TOTALLY be willing to give with NO RETURN to fund your God-given mission! This morning, I was a wreck because we are struggling financially, and I asked myself, "God, should I just go back to teaching?" I then saw this email I got my answer. I feel so unqualified and want to quit on most days because I feel I am not doing what I should. But then, as I listened to your story, I was also reminded that some flower beds have thorns. Our oldest boys didn't really need a curriculum they are very independent but our younger boy really struggled, we wasted hundreds, but this curriculum was it for him. From tears to reading. Great curriculum! Okay...you are in tears, commented before finishing...our son wasn't just struggling with school we ALL were recovering from my husband's military injury that's left him basically with no life. I couldn't explain how much easier your curriculum has made our life. Just imagine a parent losing their health, their ability to even pick up a jug of milk, their job, their dreams, and then trying to homeschool a child who was upset and tired and needed simplicity. I felt like I couldn’t homeschool. I didn’t have any support beyond my husband. My parents are against homeschooling. Our friends all send their children to public school. I am in your boat...I satrted homeschooling my 9th grader at the onset of the COVID oandemic due to financial constraints...EVERYONE in my community especially my "friends" are against it yet I feel called to do this. Only God has been giving me the courage to go on and not look back. Everyday I am a better homeschooling mum...and yet every day also the challenges get even tougher. I am withdrawing my 2 younger children from public school at the end of the year but I have already started using the free language arts curriculum for them already and I am determined not to look back. TGATB is new to me...yet so precious I feel like I have discovered gold LITERALLY...and most importantly I have found my purpose...to teach my jewels the beauty that is Jesus Christ. I was moved to tears by your video today. I am completely new to your curriculum, and I honestly don’t know anything about it. I am a veteran homeschool mom of 25 years. In June 2020 I officially finished homeschooling my third child, and we prepared to send him off to school. The month before, the day after Mother’s Day in May, I found out that I was pregnant with my fourth child. This was a miracle baby that we never expected. In the middle of corona, at the end of a very long season in my life, I was faced with the prospect of another 20 years of homeschooling. This mama‘s heart is so tired, and discouraged on many fronts. Your video today gave me a small spark of hope. I will be 64 years old when I am finished with the active parenting phase of my life. I’ve been doing it since I was 20. I thank you for continuing on even when it was hard. Oh Jenny! I'm in tears! This past year has been so hard on my family. We had to sell one car to pay off another. The belt seems tighter every time we buy groceries or pay bills. I have been fighting depression and anxiety that I had already overcome. I never wanted to homeschool my kids, but my eyes were opened to how a public education wasn't only failing but also harming my son. He was the kid that would do nothing in school but observe. He knew if he didn't do his work the bell would ring and he would still get to go home and play until his teacher complained. Anyway, it's been a struggle to teach him for that reason. I've been feeling so useless and wondering if I'm doing more harm than good by making such a drastic change...for him and for me. I see jobs that I am more than qualified for that would double our income if I put him back in public school. Things would be so much easier financially. It really is a sacrifice, and one that is often thankless, misunderstood and misrepresented. Thank you for what you do, and thank you for this beautiful message that kinda pulled me out of my misery and certainly made me cry like a baby. 😭

I just can't believe what an amazing person you are. I was first introduced to you through your music. There was a year that I was a youth group leader for the teen women in my church, and we used your CD for that year that included the songs like Honest, Happily Ever After, etc. I can't help but think of the words to all these beautiful songs and how God was preparing you to go on to create this homeschool experience for yourself and all of US. You didn't have to listen to that calling, but you did, and for that I am forever indebted and grateful.

I want to thank you so much for this curriculum. It has literally changed our lives. I Started homeschooling for the first time ever 2 years ago. I knew I needed to help my son and free him from the system. One of my neighbors introduced me to the Good and Beautiful curriculum, and we did. Now, we have successfully done 6th grade and 7th grade and we plan to continue all the way until Highschool and graduate at home. THANK YOU! Yes, yes, yes!!! You are that gardener! My oldest is 16 and I WISH I had this curriculum for him through his homeschool journey. My other 2 boys are 10 & 6. I’m a 33 year old resently converted to Christian from new age man. This woman’s work and perspective had this wanna be Market Gardener crying over my child’s future learning curriculum. Please keep going! God has plans for us all.
I recently had twins and I felt like continuing with TGATB was just too much for me to keep up with with my older kids. I tried 2 different other curriculums but I honestly didn't feel good about either of them. We recently switched back and both my kids tell me they can feel the difference in their schooling and don't mind the extra work or time it takes them.

My 8 year old hated school, public and homeschool. But now only 7 months into The good and the beautiful math and la she is loving learning. Loving reading and loving math. My daughter reads for fun now and finally believes she is smart.

Today homeschool started out rough. Most days feel that way, but I know that what I am doing is so important in the lives of my four children. Thank you for all you are doing to provide such an uplifting curriculum. Thank you for sharing your story. It lifted me up today when I just wanted to throw the towel in and say, "I'm done." Your curriculum has made this challenging journey so much more enjoyable.
One step at the time. Our homeschool days is not always a butterfly pretty. Give your kids a sorksheet and read to them, or they read to themselves and you take it easy. Your children needs you in the long run.
It's good to hear that not everyone is having picture perfect homeschool days :). Most of our days start off rough too. Transitioning from morning routine to starting is difficult. Keep going! In the long run we'll be able to look back and see all those golden moments and the overall tapestry of each day. I think it'll be worth it!

Me encanto este curriculum pero igual que tu deseaba en español o bilingue. Lo compre y estoy traduciendolo en español. This is beautiful! I know the curriculum gets love and hate. I must say , it’s working great for my family. My oldest is kindergarten and I’m newer to homeschool with 3 littles and a 4th on the way. Even when I don’t feel great, we can get through this curriculum and feel accomplished. I pray many blessings over this company and the seeds they are planting globally. It’s nice to know that we’re supporting something so positive in this day and age. I hope our family can give back like this one day.
Oh my word! This video had me in tears! I am from South Africa. I came across Good and Beautiful when I first wanted to homeschool during the pandemic, but seeing that there are so many curriculums, options and that we are in a different country, I just did not go with it. I have soldiered through with various resources and getting to points where I also wanted to just be a gardener (a story for another day) and here God brought me to this video as I journaled this morning. What a blessing. What an amazing story! Thank you. I think God is also trying to tell me to go with what my heart was pulled towards in the first place. My hearts desire would be to bring your curriculum to our country translated in Afrikaans (one of our main homeschooling Language markets), because that would be such a blessing. I have had many sleepless nights trying to figure out what would be best for my daughter's education. A friend recommended The Good and The Beautiful a few years back when I had mentioned looking into schools, and now We are ready to make a commitment. I watched this video just to hear the back story and now I am crying because I won't have to worry about how we are going to pay for her school books. We will be starting the pre-k curriculum in the following weeks and hopefully we will be working in Kindergarten books by the fall. My daughter is 3 and already doing some Kindergarten stuff but I want to make sure the foundation for a good start is there. Thank you so much for all you do and have done to help families be able to give there children the best.
We fell in love with this curriculum by accident (I downloaded it because it was a free, temporary fill-in while I searched for something "permanent") and it has turned into the greatest blessing for our family. It makes me feel confident that my children are getting the best education and helps me teach in a loving way. Now I purchase to save some time and effort, but I'm still blown away by how affordable it is when the quality of the material is above standard. Hearing the story behind it is so meaningful. I love that this is the heart of the company because it's really the heart of our homeschooling.

Such a beautiful testimony. You ARE a gardener and you’re truly changing families for generations. I learn so much, while teaching with TGTB, and the foundations my children are being taught will follow them into adulthood and future generations. The curriculum you provide is so well rounded and I don’t feel anxious that we’re either missing out or over-extending our time trying to fit in valuable life and academic lessons everyday. You do it so beautifully and our family is thankful!

This announcement really changed our lives because it gives us the freedom to homeschool if we ever need to pull our kids out of public school. Right now we use it to supplement their education, but making it free really helps families make the decision to homeschool when the time comes.

Thank you!!! Because of TGTB my 7 yr old is now reading! She was in public school during her kindergarten year and they closed half way into it for covid. She missed a great deal of her foundations, especially in reading. Then at the completion of 1st grade she still struggled a great deal and could not read. I asked that she be held back and repeat 1st. They said she didn't need to. So I pulled her out to begin homeschooling. It was apparent they were not going to help and just let her slip through the cracks. Within 2 weeks of level 1 TGTB she was reading!! After a month she was reading INDEPENDENTLY!! I cannot thank you enough!!

I'm Italian, I live in Italy as well. Here homeschooling isn't a thing and 99,9% of people don't even know about this possibility. I have a 3.5 yo daughter and when she was born I knew I wanted to teach her English language even with my broken English. A started watching UA-cam videos and I discovered the amazing world of homeschooling. I started to do some research and I found TGTB. My daughter is quite ready to start a formal curriculum but I've downloaded the math and language art curriculums and as soon we'll be strong enough and ready we'll start the adventure. Thank you for your hard work. All the children in Africa are going to love you forever, you're changing their lives forever. I don't have the right words to express how amazing you are. I was halfway through your beautiful message before I realized God was using you to speak to me. I too am owner of a child-centered business which is on the verge of expanding. I too just want to live a simple life at home- to be a gardener- and part of me is resisting and second guessing the expansion. This is confirmation for me...I am to keep on going.
