A great game mechanic would be the option to skip a boss but have to fight him later and he'll be even harder.
BotW basically did that. There are others where you can potentially get an easy kill early in the game to avoid the fight later which is a similar idea.
And you can keep doing it so they just get even stronger every time you skip, until they are literally just completely undefeatable
@@cadekachelmeier7251 Like MGS3:Snake eater and "The End." Snipe that guy at Ponizovje Warehouse and avoid the entire battle later in the game.
Edit:You'll have to deal with the Ocelot unit if you do this.
Mario Odyssey might have done this, too. If you get enough moons in an area you can skip the fights with the Broodals until you get to Bowser's Kingdom, where you fighting them all at once. Is that correct? It's been a while since I played the game.

Man, these old classic grump series always make me happy and will always hold a place in my heart.
They found Draculas Eweball.
Simon's Quest had such rad music, and such godawful level design
"I got all prettied for THIS!? I cant stay mad at you. We can still play 'Badminton,' or 'candyland.' OR 'The game of Life!' that would be an ironic jape of a story to tell our fellow living human friends!" -Death
Bill and Ted?
"aw man, that was a close one."
That is fantastic. Funniest thing I've seen all day. Writing some pages for work, wish me luck that I hit the deadline
God just writing the word deadline is giving me anxiety pangs.
More classic NES/SNES/Genesis goodness please!
I played Parcheesi once long ago, and before I look it up, I think it was a bit like the board game "Sorry!" or Backgammon, a game of getting pieces "home".
One of the bosses ever

Oh sht.... Mega Man chess would be awesome.

Wait you guys don't have hotcakes? Here I thought it was an American word... The only place we use hotcakes is Maccas even then everyone knows they're pancakes.
Pretty much everyone in America (at least from what I've seen, maybe some people in other parts of the country say hotcakes) calls them pancakes, too.
I don't know for sure about "hotcakes" specifically, but speaking as an American, we have a lot of different regional dialects, so it may be that "hotcakes" is distinct to a particular _part_ of America, just not one where I have lived, like how some parts say "soda", and others say "pop" to refer to carbonated soft drinks. As an informal plural second-person pronoun, some parts say "you" (which is the officially "correct" term), some say "y'all" (especially here in the south), and some say "youse" (pronounced "yooz", mostly used in the north).
It's entirely possible that 'hotcakes' is a term that may have been more commonly used in the past, akin to 'flapjacks', but has since fallen out of popular use, aside from a relative few examples or exceptions. Such as, 'To sell like hotcakes.'
