1997 BMW E36 M3 Radio Upgrade -CD43 Business CD

In this video I upgrade my stock C33 tape deck head unit with a factory BMW CD43 Business CD head unit. My goal was to keep the car as period correct as possible with matching interior lighting and this unit provided me with the best option. I was not looking for Bluetooth, aux jacks, etc. so I stayed with an original Blaupunkt unit.

I removed the aftermarket unit and put the same CD43 CD unit in my E34. I like keeping it original.

OEM look is best for sure. That car is quickly becoming a classic so not going crazy with an aftermarket stereo makes good sense.

I just purchased this unit to replace an aftermarket Sony radio installed by previous owner for the very reason you mentioned above. No replacement for OEM parts💪

It is a very easy change and very worth while. I found the best place to find options was on eBay. Good luck!
