I’ve the same head unit and I installed it everything works but I have no sound at all. The display works perfectly and everything. The only difference is those amp wires you have I don’t have them neither connected could that be a problem?
Yeah I do but if they make one that’s cheaper that has less of the options, I’d go with that unless you intend to hook your radio up with Amazon Alexa, Sirius XM etc... all I use it for is Bluetooth so I’d buy the cheapest one
I got the exact same head unit for my 1992 E36 320i and it works perfectly fine. Except i bought a adapter to connect the head unit to the battery (was like 7 bucks or sth).
So the bracket for my Sony mex-n5300bt is lose. The e36 doesn't allow for the tabs to be folded down on the bottom. It's not very secure. Tips anyone?????
The screws on the radio don’t come all the way out, you should have to only turn them a half turn or so. The stock radios need a little bit of force to get out.
@@backnd_2329 If it’s a stock radio, there’s a little door on either side you need to flip open to access the screws. If I’m remembering right they’re small Phillips head screws (1 on each side). You won’t see any screws unless you open the doors.
This is a good video thanks dude. You also have a good taste in music 😁.

I installed the exact same head unit in my e36 328i and I would 100% recommended the microphone if it’s a Daily.
Yes Thankyou, I don’t daily the car. I used it the microphone for my truck instead
What’s the microphone used for ?
Phone calls, Siri, etc
Hey man I’m about to buy this radio for my E36, was wondering, do you would still recommend it after 3 months? Thanks!

I installed a alpine unit in my 36. All wires are matching up but it won’t turn on.. any ideas what it could be?
"im not gonna lie i just fuckin nailed it" i died laughing
Is it true that re wiring these cars can be a issue with other electrical components? everyone says not to do it my self?
As long as you’re just messing with the radio harness I don’t see any issue
Hey can you show us your speaker system in your e36 please
Will do in the next video when I have a chance!
what color do you use ? Is it custom RGB or Orange/1/2/3 ?
I believe there was only one orange color. No custom colors, just happened to match perfectly.
