The average taxpayer doesn't understand what money *is* and where it comes from. We have a fiat currency and if said currency creates things that reinforces this country's power and influence the currency becomes stronger as well.
Imagine a form that is filed with your taxes which tells the government where to spend any and all money above a baseline(setting those baselines will be a serious fight though), but only for the money you pay. If you pay zero taxes, you get zero say in the matter. The more you pay in taxes, the bigger your say.
I think a psychological evaluation should be required before allowing people to run for office.

With a focus on empathy testing, no more Narcissists, Psychopaths, Sociopaths, or people who are compromised by Addiction or sexual impropriety.
