Mongols vs Rus, matchup, how to defeat Rus and slow your opponent down/Aoe4 Ranked, Diamond

I believe that the most important question to ask is whether to deny Rus bounty or not, but statistically speaking, it's impossible to deny them all the bounty, so it would be better to put minimal effort into it and to focus on your tasks.
They will get wolves instead.
Still, you can kill deer whenever you have the possibility and it doesn't slow you down too much.
Think about it: you get nothing when you kill deer, you opponent will always have animals that they can kill, so you don't slow their eco down too much.
Instead, it would be better to check whether Rus is going to build a forward Kremlin, which you could deny, should they decide to build it further out. Also, you need to be around their base by the 4:30 minute mark.
IMO, Rus is an easy matchup for mongols, you can beat them with cavalry only in Feudal Age and follow with siege in castle.

Thanks for taking the time to make this followup on the Rus matchup. As a low-plat Rus/Mongol main, I've never really gone for the horseman opening, and have never bothered with a spear tower rush vs Rus due to gold from bounty - but I can see the value here to punish an overly aggressive kremlin and delay the 2nd tc

I had the video on private for a few days, but I uploaded it due to your request. :) Glad you find this controversial horsemen opening useful, I think its usefulness is often overseen and I never see players open like this. The horsemen are super useful in delaying and keeping the opponent busy.

0.88 attack speed means that they attack every 0.88 second. Which means that mangudai attack almost 3 times faster then horse archers with 2.12 attack speed.

Lol I can't believe how I got this simple one wrong 😂. Thanks for pointing it out. And this means that mangudai have higher dps and hp, the ability to shoot while riding.
