We don't know what she was doing during this period. Her full story is one of the biggest holes in the series.

Ulrich is the prime example of what obsessive behaviour does to a person. Allthough his motivations were pure in the beginning he went way to far ending in situations where he could be considered the bad guy of his own story. Its the classic, if you could go back in time and kill baby hitler would you do it, scenario. Reminds me a also bit of Prisoners in the best way.
What a mindf*ck/breath of fresh air this series was. Every trope, every cliché, every possibility of a happy ending in seasons 1 and 2 subverted in the most painful way possible.
♾️ The BGM is so hauntingly beautiful and fits perfectly for this scene! The whole narration towards the end about time travel adds to it and makes it even more intense! Deep inside you know you're in for a rollercoaster ride!!
