The look on Claudia's face and how she struggles a bit with the new tech. But I'm glad she catches on quick.
What I love about this scene is the realistic portrayal. When TV shows show us situation like these - a character interacting with future technology - it is often portrayed as if the people from the past are too dumb to ever understand what they have to do, they act like imbeciles.
Here, Claudia is startled and unsure about how to use the tech, but she observes and asks others and then catches on. She may be from the past and unaccustomed to our technology, but she is not dumb - in fact, she is a rather smart woman and as such it is realistic that she gets used to it quickly. Especially when you consider the fact that a product like a tablet is designed to be accessible and easy to learn.
Maritimus and she is also the only one who’s able to figure out the whole loop!

They trained typing on mechanical typewriters. It's a habit.
i explained that the screen detects the electrical difference caused by the touch of the skin to my grandpa , he told me that he toutgh that there were buttons behind the screen, now he uses it with no extra force to type or select.

She's from the 80's, The technology isn't that different, she knows what a computer is. If Noah from the 20's was in the same situation, it would have been a real struggle. The poor dude wouldn't even know what a screen is.

I love how she touch the sides of the computer looking for the power button and even checks under the desk looking for the keyboard since old computer desk had a drawer for the keyboard.

I love Claudia. Every character in Dark is tragic but Claudia truly wants to save her father as daughter and she simply cannot flank fate.

Hopefully, she did save his daughter from dying at least. He had to send Jonas, but without her they were going to repeat the same mistakes forever.

Who, when asked by someone confused if there is a keyboard, would just laugh and say "There isn't one."? Any normal human being with just a little bit of kindness would say: "That's a touch screen. Would you like me to show you?" That girl really annoys me, lol.
Even the iPad has a keyboard accessory. Maybe she just assumed Claudia wanted one of those, so laughing and saying that there isn’t one is not a ridiculous response. Touchscreens have been out for 15+ years, almost an entire human generation, assuming someone doesn’t know how to use one almost borders on offensive.

Claudia is the real hero of DARK
Claudia was the best at playing time travelling cause she had understood all of its rules. She was driven by the desire to save her daughter. Her love for Regina made the strongest player.
@@chernobylmagpie6334 That's one of the main themes of the show, though, the lengths that parents will go to for their children. The whole loop only exists because of a father's love for his son.
Eva wanted to save her son, too, even if they both weren't supposed to exist. Adam wanted to save Martha at some point. Everyone wanted to save someone, but only Claudia and her family existed in the original world
This is one of my favorite scenes...the one when Claudia really showed what she was capable of doing, and how adaptable she was, and eager to understand her surroundings. Kudos to the actress

Btw this is an example of technology progress that doesn't comes with practical use. These touch screens are totally inconvienet when aren't used at mobile devices, it's much more comfortable to write on traditional keyboard.

I liked her character the moment I saw her first scene. They made a good casting her as one of the main characters in this series. Hopefully we see more of her acting, maybe even in hollywood.

Very glad this was the first thing to come up when searching "Dark Claudia" on UA-cam. This solidified Claudia as my fav Dark character and this actress is incredible at conveying so much with just her facial expressions.

The way Claudia touches the screen is great comedic relief.
Claudia is by far the most badass character in this series, how she struggles to get out of the cycle, how she tries to save her family, even to kill herself.
Imagine traveling in future and knowing that your father is going to die and you can't do anything because everything is predetermined.
Seeing how your father died and knowing when .... My heart hurts
Julika Jenkins did an amazing job with this scene. You can actually feel the emotikons of Claudia.
To be completely fair, I wouldn't have any idea on how to use those computers either. Like I'd imagine they were touch screens but aside from that I'd have no idea hahaha

The real hero of the series ♥️ Her determination and selflessness in pursuing the ways of saving her daughter helped her to solve a rather complicated puzzle. During her teenage hood, Regina complained that her mother did not show any signs of attachment and that she was feeling abandoned the whole time. Ironically, Claudia’s main motive to break the never-ending cycle was her ultimate desire to save Regina from inevitable death. If this is cannot be called love, then what?

She was the one who solve how to break the knot while adam and eva did nothing but to compete which world is gonna be saved when the fact is they are only repeating the history.

Imagine the pain and confusion, when she knows everything about the past 33 years and she tries so hard to save her father. But he ends up dying the same way.
Time travel seems way more catastrophic and scary than we imagine.

For me, the best detail was how strong she touched the screen. Makes me remember when my parents used a smarphone by the first time.
I have to say, she quickly got the hand of a modern computer haha. 33 years and she caught up quick. Claudia was always smart in the show though. I guess being someone who used a computer in the 1980s daily in her job though, she would have an advantage on 99% of people from 1987 who will have never used a PC. It was just the touch screen for her that was weird. Everything else like searching for articles she could figure out by reading the screen
