just took a putting lesson from Golf Tech and they had me do lead hand low but their explanations were confusing and they were just trying to sell me a putter and more lessons. you make it clear and i love the 'dont drop the egg' drill
I like the idea of left hand low. My problem, or my thinking, is that I don't have the feel as I do with other putting grips. But I do like the shoulders being instantly aligned which is a big help.
I went to right hand low (I'm a lefty!) last year and noticed I became more steady. I have an issue with my back wrist, left one, getting the "yips" every so often. The egg exercise will hopefully do the trick to get rid of that and improve my confidence.
The one thing I think is most important is to show how you form the grip. I would love to see how you place your hands.

About 15 years ago I tried lead hand low but returned to both hands at same level grip. Now I started using left hand low after changing fat grip to my putter. Left hand low grip gives me feeling putter is much more stable than with normal grip. Hands at same level I felt like putter is wobling a lot and I have to do huge amount of work to do repeatable swing.
it’s lead hand low....i am a lefty golfer and righties are so quick to dismiss that there are golfers who swing left handed and it’s really quite pompous

Good video. I’ve been trying to train myself to go lead hand low but I find the club wobbles around too much in the stroke unless I grip way down and have almost no overlap between my hands.
Nice drill. I’ve recently started putting with left hand low. I feel much more control over distance with this grip. However I don’t tuck my right elbow in. I keep it a little more out in the plane of my shoulder movement. This grip is working much better for me, but a need a bit more practice.
I recently changed to lead hand low. i have found that I'm striking the putter more consistency in the center. Translating to better roll and accuracy. Still working on distance and speed control. I'm happy that i changed.
I would recommend to have the same take away position for every distance and just change the Tempo of your Swing. And as an exercise to train your swing speed just always look at the hole and not the ball

Saw this on another cast and really like it. Pulled left doing "traditional", goes straight now. Power is the hardest part to get used to. Great vid.

I have started putting lead hand low and it feels like the wrists are much more stable. Early days but I am sinking a few more puts.
It takes a few hours of practice and I suggest a face balanced putter. I love it.
The drop the egg thing was good.

I use a split hand grip with the right low and with a claw
I found putting my left hand low gives me better control and accuracy.
You didn't actually show how one is supposed to set up this grip, that's what I was looking for.. otherwise good points and perspectives
