I've been using left hand low exclusively for around 15 years now. Before that I used the claw grip and then did both (left hand low for long puts and claw for short puts) but as Nelly said, with the left hand low it feels like everything moves together a lot easier. I have a TON of problems with my game but I always feel confident with the putter. As long as I get the line right 😂
Yes. I feel the club does not wobble & I don’t pull it to the left on follow through. Also, Phil said use the heel of the putter a little which helps me keep it in a straight line.
Im left hand low but then Im a righthanded player that plays lefty. I think having my dominant hand as the lead is good for short game but not so much with driver...
The interlocking of the hands was big for me. I always felt like I was stretching and out of sync when I've tried left hand low before. Physically lower on the grip through extension rather than just naturally switching the hands round. Going to take this to the practice green for sure!
Wow! Thank you, Nelly! 🙏 I have tried Cross Hand / Left Hand Low before but the Gamechanger is the Interlocking Grip! I am making everything and it has truly increased my confidence over 3-6 ft putts!
36 yrs. old now, golfing since 6-7 and at about age 10 I was at the usual putting green Mick Riley par 3 course....and I heard someone mention Fred Couples had tried cross-handed putting, well he was my favorite golfer so of course I tried it.....26 years now never looked back. Down to a 2 handicap now with a goal to be a scratch golfer in the next year.
Oh also I should add 1-2 years ago I got back into the game after a short hiatus, I was a 7-8 handicap at my return and after a few months switched from LHL NO Interlock to LHL w/ Interlocked fingers and instantly saw an improvement and as Nelly said felt way more connected with the club. Point being be open to change/adjust things, at least try them, I had resisted interlocking LHL for 20+ years and that simple change made all the difference, that change and my first new putter in 15 years account for the drop in handicap from 8 to 2 almost entirely. (From SC Newport 2, to Odyssey AI-One Mallet)
When I first started golf I putted conventionally but after seeing Spieth who was the best player at the time, putt left hand low, I decided to give it a go and have been that way ever since but I do struggle on keeping the club head lower to the ground 3:33
What I like about left hand low is that the shoulders are even. But I don't have the feel as I do using the claw grip, especially with short putts. Nelly's a great putter.
Love the LLH interlocking tip. Definitely going to try it out being I struggle with putting. However, lets not be a left handed player hater. JK. For me it Right hand low.
Will be interesting to see how Nelly handles her interview on May 31st at Pine Needles, regarding her April surgery to remove a blood clot in her arm.She will dance around that one like Fred Astaire.
@@peterjackson5809 Yes, did you watch her Press conference? One brave reporter asked her the obvious question what did your doctor say caused the clot? She said yes he did, but I prefer to leave it confidential for reasons of privacy .Watch it, she was not happy being there. Pretty obvious what caused the clot
@@ralphcurrie3576 I live in the UK. and it is clear that young people who take the vaccine seem prone to blood clots and other side effects but the medical people choose to ignore and state the vaccine is safe. The whole vaccine story worldwide is of great concern
I mean it is an unconventional technique for right handed golfers since they are right handed. If you put your left hand low then it becomes the dominant side so its “unconventional”
Have you ever tried left-hand low putting?
I was in a Pro-Am with Pat Perez, saw him do it, and gave it a try. He gave me some tips and now it's all I do.

The message was received loud and clear. Whenever I struggle to put, Call Nelly to putt for me. Got it!
12 years of LHL for me... Love it. I don't see me changing anytime soon. Great stuff from Nelly!

Brilliant young champion, really enjoy watching her play.
That interlock just makes the stroke feel so much more stable. Thanks Nelly.
Big fan of Nel and Jessica Ks....in fact the whole family....

Padraig Harrington and Jack nickelas has a few good videos on about putting. Don't follow through too much during the putting stroke. Pop it forward.
Thanks for the tip, Nelly. I may try it...:)

Left hand low is a game changer. If you struggle on short putts like I was then give it a try.
Thanks Nel
Yes I could do that only made me sign my name on the right so it would be easy to indentify. Switch hitter golf worth a try. Sawadee Khap🤠

I guess that's the kicker the short game. Sawadee Khap.🤠
Yikes Did you see that giant bug crawling on her shirt collar? Brave woman lol
Time stamp 3:53 looks closely, it's crawling on her neck.

Ok nice call, how did you know ?
They are all over the east coast in the summer
I wanna meet you Nelly I am 11 years old and have always loved your swing I wish you were my coach
Is that guy related to Jordan spieth?
I'm pretty good with both sides put it this way if I broke my right arm I would be 👍
My sister putts with left hand low
Comfy to 20 ft, but those longer ones feel weird
I thought so too. Give it a month and I think, like me, you will gain amazing confidence on distance control.
Ana Davis the 16 yr old is a southpaw I saw only saw her putt next time swing. You can do both me a little bit. Sawadee Khap.🤠
I'm not sure if this putting stroke is working. She doesn't feel comfortable hitting putts 8 feet and beyond

Which has exactly what to do with left hand low putting ..?? 🤔
So confused.. she never won with left hand low and so we’re watching a video about left hand low???

I've putted cross handed my whole life!
Stunning and brave
Better to speak of: "Lead hand low," that way you speak also to we left-handers.
Perhaps pickleball would serve you better.. good grief! 🙄
