I totally agreed with you on the overexposure. I didn't realize that I often tune down the exposure when I take photo with S23U. However, I see a lot of users prefer to have slightly overexposed image especially the darker part of the image. People take it as high HDR but it makes the image too flat to my taste.

Got an S22 a little over a year ago, my first Samsung phone since the SGH slider phones. Love it. I’ve taken just a tad under 20,000 images, so far so good no real complaints. My previous phone was an LG G6.
Camera assistant is great to hear about I'll have to check it out. Yes, the shutter isn't "lagging" the camera has simply assessed the lighting situation and set a slow shutter to let more light in, just like when you use night mode and the phone asks you to hold the camera still until it's done so it can get a proper exposure. This can be bypassed as well by using the pro camera mode but sometimes I find that I can't get as good color and exposure settings as i do if I just let the regular camera use ai (I'm still on S20FE) On a side, it's interesting that you found many of your shots coming "washed out" straight from camera. Samsung has always been known for their vibrancy but maybe they are trying to market harder to photographers and took notes of the popular cinestyle way of shooting/editing seeing as though the images edit nicely which means that all the information is present My theory about the over exposure is simply competition with the apple look. Iphone ai really likes to flatten out exposure by brightening shadows and it has a discernable look geared towards the general user who isn't a photographer
@@olivataggiasca that would make sense, I don't think my phone has a raw mode so I didn't consider it but that would definitely explain the colors being flat
I have been using Note 20 and recently bought S23U, both tend to always overexpose and that's the way it has been since the beginning of Samsung. I always slightly decrease the exposure manually for some shots to give it a better look, like you did.

Claiming something is a "problem" just because it's not what you envisioned in your mind (while also not adjusting the settings yourself or using the appropriate mode) seems misleading to me. I'm not saying this as a Samsung fanboy, but as someone with over a decade of photography/videography experience that understands that the camera is just a tool. I find all photo are slightly overexposed wish there could be a exposure lock custom setting so it wasn't such a Bind to keep adjusting before a shot. Spot on with all the problems I see on this 23ultra camera side. Thankfully I use Expert Raw more than the main camera system.
Im definitely struggling with the blurry photos of kids and pets. Probably going to go back to Pixel for the time being. It's a shame because otherwise my experience has been great

I can always tell the difference. My older Canon 70D still out does my S23 Ultra. You can see it in the post processing the phone does as you take the picture. However, I have a lot more experience looking at photos. I had a friend that could tell you what 35mm film (hehe film) was used when looking at a photo.
Why wouldn't your older ASP-C camera outdo this tiny sensor? You can't cheat physics after all, but you can try to enjoy the process like the Germans do with their Porsche 911. For my eyes, all these photos are absolutely horrible to look at and I wonder why people are even using these bricks instead of dedicated street cameras like GR-III...
You need to tap the screen, focus and reduce the exposure then click otherwise all the phones has the tendency to over expose every photo. You have to know how to click and not just slap a preset after. Great video though 🎉
Nice work, a cute face and a nice voice. Keep on! Thank you. I cannot understand why the cam is so hyped. I also have the s23 and I am far away from beeing happy
That's a nice and honest review. The phone is great, the best of course the almost unbelievable zoom range, especially until 30x the pics are quite usable which is insane. Pro mode, especially compared to older phones, is losing its relevance since you're losing all important software gimmicks like HDR or multi pic stacking instead of just simple long time exposure. What I'm missing, not only with Samsung phones, is using auto modes but with some constant adjustments to your liking. Companies try to make the look of pics fitting to everyone's liking and every situation, one click shoot - but this will never work, never. Buying such an expensive phone I don't want the 'company knows best what's good for me approach' (rather arrogance). I want options, but of course not by doing everything by myself but to change auto mode to my(!) liking. Why is there no option slider to adjust HDR shadow brightening or HDR high light reducing in general?. Why no option slider to adjust color to something individual between insta popup colors and pure cool color DSLR aesthetics in general? Older Samsung at least had a sports mode for shorter shutter speed priority. It's gone! Why? No cam app in the world in auto mode can read my mind, e.g. if I want to take a pic of a little river with water flow smoothed out or crystal sharp. I understand they had to deliver a one-shoot auto experience as most customers are inexperienced, but doing so they are frustrating everyone who knows about foto technology. Why do you have to adjust your light room color scheme afterward? Why aren't we able to do so just out of the cam app itself directly when saving the pics file. It seem all these cam app developers were no photographers at all.
Good video. But i think the issues you highlight are only present if camera is on auto set. Those who know their way around manual controls will have no issues getting shots they want!
I took an S21 to my son's pre-k graduation. It was one of my bigger regrets of the year. Good videos, good zoom, dog food photos. They looked like smudgy oil paintings. Just ordered an S23U, against my better judgement. Hope it's, at least, a little better.
@@SofaKingA It's a very good phone. Still has trouble capturing moving subjects without turning it to mush (and I mean 4 year old rocking back and forth, not running). That aside, it's superlatively good with a more immersive screen and an unkillable battery life. I switched my esim back into the 14 Pro yesterday. A part of me may never be happy with giving Apple business, but the 14 Pro is more portable, also has near unkillable battery plus better cameras. The wonder years only last so long, and I'd rather have a more reliable snapper short of a dslr to remember them by.
You called out the most painful thing here. The brightness, overly aggressive HDR. It is not classical overexposure - like saturated lights etc, it is more of a HDR thing. It tries hard to get the shot as bright as possible with compromise in dynamics and perceived depth. This annoys me way more than any shutter lag the S23U had. By default when I take photos in auto mode I slide the brightness half way back where it sort of should be as a starting point. Some people like the super bright take on photos, some do not. Samsung should be able to give us a button to chose with. I wouldn't mind having the HDR be modifiable as well, not just on/off. All the criticism aside, it is probably still the most consistent and universal camera phone out in the wild so far.
I much appreciate the detailed info on the S23 Ultra--the different ins and outs of squeezing the best shots out of it. I completely agree that it tends strongly to somewhat over-expose. However, I've just discovered something that is helpful to me: when you reduce the exposure, you can lock it by tapping on the same icon/indicator you use to reduce the exposure. The indicator then turns yellow, indicating a lock, and you can continue to shoot at this exposure, avoiding the need to constantly reduce it in the same shooting environment.
I do wish they would give us a dedicated shutter button. The feeling of a physical button is underrated and burried with all this hi tech gadget specs.
I just bought the S23 Ultra yesterday. I've been watching lots of videos and can't wait for it to come. My question is are you covering up the lens because they look like they are exposed to dirt and moisture? I saw a video that has a magnetic case with magnetic filters. That sounds like a good resolve for me. I enjoyed your video very much thank you.
In high contrast scenes/situations you have to underexpose the shot before capturing in order to pull out more information from highlights and shadows.
I’m trying to do the same, however, too many inconsistencies with the camera on the s23. I have it wrapped up and ready to send back in front of now, however, I keep looking at it wanting to give it another try. I hate Apple and desperately want to leave, but in fairness, generally they do work better
Very good video. I am having the best experience with this phone. It is not the best in everything but it is good in general for everything. I'm so impressed with technology today. I downloaded the Motion Cam Pro application and am getting beautiful raw video. I can't even imagine what phones will be like in a couple of years.
thanks for your input! yes I agree this device is really amazing from a tech perspective. especially if you also use Dex it really does things no other phone can do
my experience has been quite contrary to yours because in the photos i took with my phone, it manages to get bright highlights toned down really well. id suggest keeping the shutter setting on prefer quality instead of speed and turning scene optimiser on because they really help with point and shoot auto mode shots.
thanks for your feedback! that is really interesting to know your experience is different from mine. I do have scene optimizer turned on most of the time but will try prefer quality to see if it improves
Personally I'd buy the pixel. My reasons for that: 1) Better camera (for my taste...more true to life photos with great hdr and a lot of detail, able to capture moving objects much better) 2) Voice dictation is unmatched. If you use voice to text a lot, it's hands down the best. 3) smoother and more fluid UI 4) the phone app features: call screening, Hold for Me and Direct My Call. These features are amazing.
4:54 this is easily arguable a good photo.. For me the people on moped is blurred that kinda give the photo some depth and motion and layers . After all your phone camera was already focus in the back ground first.
It's just because it's not what Apple does with their cameras, so lemmings are used to thinking that anything that deviates from Apple is objectively "bad" because it's different.
A comment on your zooming in of the storefront in 50 mega.pixel mode at 3 times crop. What the phone does is upscale the image back to 50 megapixels which it obviously is using software to do. Even if you zoom in four times it will still up scale to 50 megapixels which is not ideal. The same is true when you shoot and zoom in in 200 megapixel mode. I think it would be better to shoot with no zoom and then just crop post to avoid the post-processing. Because the upscaling is not really doing a great job
Pro mode raw and expert raw produce such different images it's really hard to compare the two. I would say use expert raw if you need the most dynamic range and HDR in the img
Great review. Is it just me or do you also find the main camera a bit difficult to shoot with due to its large view angle and you need to get really close to objects?
I have the S22 Ultra. I’ve often thought the photos are a bit overexposed. I’ve recently ordered the S23U. Guess I’ll find out is the S23U is an improvement…
Great video👍🏼 I really like all your mobile camera review videos. If its possible can you make a camera review video of Base Samsung Galaxy S23. Will love to see that video. As I am planning to buy it and its in my budget and i also love taking pictures from my mobile, when I'm not carrying my Fujifilm x100v. And If not..then it's totally fine..as I know how much these videos take time to make and post. Keep making these awesome video. Love from India 🇮🇳
I have an ultra 23. I wonder if you could do a video on the best settings for various conditions. I really struggle in pro mode to know what settings (iso shutter speed etc) to use in these situations - - Concerts - sports - rainy days - sunny landscape Plus any others?? I am going to see the northern lights, would love the ideal settings for this. Maybe video options too?? Wish there was an ultra 23 cheat guide for photo situations.
Thank you for your video. There are no "problems", but misunderstanding of luck of knowledge about the cameras in this phone. For example, 3x camera will give you more image noise because the aperture is 2.2, instead 1.7 (main camera), so therefore it has to raise ISO in order to make correct exposure. Higher ISO -> more noise. All cameras in this phone have different apertures. In the case of the photo from 13:30min in the video, you overexposed the image (dark front ground) so therefore you got severely washed out background. With correct exposure (making front darker and then lifted in post) you will get much better final image.
Dude lol I get it you love Samsung but you're acting like nothing he listed made sense. Don't be such a fanboy that you can't accept objective criticism about a phone.
Question: I noticed other UA-camrs images come out flat as well. My initial reaction was "Perfect! Like a raw photo I'll have more latitude to work with when I go to Lightroom." Then I realized the avg consumer wouldn't like flat curves on their final pics. 1) Does this "flatness" preserve detail in a similar way that a raw does; 2) Does the flatness depend on defaulted outputed file format?; 3) Do you think this is intentional by Samsung??
Hi, I am an average consumer, And yes I noticed photos are always flat and not always good looking unless it's in direct sunlight, but when I click on Edit and the magic wand icon, it changes that, also Remaster photo does a very good job fixing the flat effect. Quality isn't affected even by 1% whenever I edit my photos (S22 base model by the way)
@@NonBinary_Star I use when I feel that my photo sucks anyways, and it doesn't dissapoint me but I confused if they can fix any photos like that then why isnt it the default processing ? why do I have to take the photo and not like it then remaster it ????? XD kinda weird but usually my photographer friends say that they like it the way it is out of camera for me I like the remastered one along with all my non photographer friends
Damn, this is a good advertisement for your present system. Ended up getting it and I really like how it makes my pics look. The different presents remind me of taking analogue photographs on different kinds of film.
I don't have a sample, just saying that a lot of the things you want to be fixed are just personal preference and the settings are there for you to change them
Hi, I'm just watching your videos now and they are awesome. I am torn between the S23 Ultra and the Google Pixel 7 Pro. I want the best camera phone as I do a lot of hiking and travelling. I have watched many reviews, and I am so confused. If you could pick one, which one would you choose? I know that is a loaded question, but I'm going crazy lol.
If you're just using the phone for point-and -shoot photos and not messing around with advanced settings then go for the Pixel. If you are really into photography and are comfortable adjusting the pro settings then go with the S23 Ultra.
Well sorry to burst your bubble but I have taken over 3,000 photos already with my S23 Ultra baby, I'm always always taking photos no matter where I'm. This was a fun fun video to watch and very informative. Thank you for sharing....🌷🪻🌷
im hella curious what your presets are or do you have a video or "shorts" about setting the presets on the phones? would appreciate your advice and presets :)
The Camera Assistant shutter hack is worth checking out. So is the exposure advice. I have shot into the sun and created some serious UFO shsped lens flares! I don't have a native Samsung tool to remove them. Overall, I am impressed with this Camera/Phone. Some minimal editing and wildlife photography works well enough for UA-cam or maybe more. The thing about hiking trail wildlife...you find it when it finds you.
@alwayshiking_ If you wanna know anything about Samsung or even iPhones just ask me I dig that up since 2015 and I am always up to date 😊 I find and try features myself that's why I backup my settings on Samsung cloud because it took me 2 years to discover it all, Samsung doesn't advertise that sadly and can't find everything on youtube or the internet. 🥲
Appreciate the support! The Xiaomi looks awesome would love to be able to test that out unfortunately its hard to get here in the states and it is expensive too
@@azvisuals I'd give it some time in terms of availability. It will come globally in the summer and can be purchased a little easier. I bought the 13 Pro because I wanted to test the sensors in addition to MIUI 14 and it's pretty good for now, just a few minor setbacks.
How come you didn’t use the pro photo for photos. You can try to reduce the blur with that since it’s a manual setting where you can increase the shutter speed. For 200 mp it’s off. My mirrorless does better but then thats a different camera than a phone camera. Still can’t beat my mirrorless regardless. I do have one issue, on the Samsung, it keeps trying to auto edit my photo when I use the regular image and use the expert raw. It ruins it so bad by overexposing it. This is something that needs to be fixed. Wondering if there is a way to turn that off?
I love my S23 Ultra, but it has one but very important cons - shutter lag! I hardly can understand why Samsung continue doing it for years... Why iPhone has correct algorithms of shutter work and can easily do great photos of moving subjects? I don't think that Samsung can't solve this problem but it is a big question why they don't do it yet...
Hi i have a question. Im planning on buying the s23 and i see that the camera quality is really good. But if you record something on the regular camera app and post in on like tiktok, instagram, whatsapp does the quality then drop alot? I heard a lot of people say that the quality drops. So maybe i need to buy the iphone 14..
There's a little bit of a dilemma, right? I have seen formidable beautiful documentaries entirely shot on I Phone. The Cinematic mode on an IPhone is a winner.
@@raccoongameryoshi it's better if you check it yourself. Both have different styles, different hardwares and different softwares. Also checkout motion cam if you are going to buy Android phones.
I'm confused about which one to buy iPhone 14 pro or S23 ultra, l'm an Android user so is it hard to switch to iPhone and If I switch for the camera is it worth it or I should just stick to Android (S23 ultra)
Got both and both of them got pros and cons .. im using S23U more tho, since its more flexible and lacks mostly just in video which i dont care that much about.
Try to take pictures from 8k video and you get 33 mp pictures. If you take pictures while you recording you get only 9mp. If you wanna get best result use pro mode for 8k video. You can even turn off Auto fps and video stabilization for better result and you will get more dslr looking images. If you use regular auto mode for 8k it's more over exposed and over processed look

I have a bunch of cameras and lenses, iPhone 13 Pro Max , s22 ultra. And I’m to lazy to properly test them myself. Thank you very much.
thats so cool though to have all that tech!
Those photos look dope with your presets!
Thanks! A quick edit really makes a difference
Great video. You know what you're doing and you can explain it well - thanks!
(and yes, I've got an S23U too, but only since less than a week ago)
I find all photo are slightly overexposed wish there could be a exposure lock custom setting so it wasn't such a Bind to keep adjusting before a shot. Spot on with all the problems I see on this 23ultra camera side. Thankfully I use Expert Raw more than the main camera system.
Im definitely struggling with the blurry photos of kids and pets. Probably going to go back to Pixel for the time being. It's a shame because otherwise my experience has been great
i just cant believe this issue has been from forever... i have an S21U and for me this is the last samsung, just lost my faith... my sons are geting older
Have you tried camera assistant? You can change the shutter speed
yeah its unfortunate. Pixel has really worked hard to de-blur moving subjects and it works quite well
@@darkling43 its only available for S23U... but for some reviews it still slower that others.. i mean the shutter lag can be solved but if the photobis blur the Pixel algoritm ibguess is better
There is a setting you gotta change to fix that
I can always tell the difference. My older Canon 70D still out does my S23 Ultra. You can see it in the post processing the phone does as you take the picture. However, I have a lot more experience looking at photos. I had a friend that could tell you what 35mm film (hehe film) was used when looking at a photo.
My nikon d300 from 2007 have better everything lol
Why wouldn't your older ASP-C camera outdo this tiny sensor? You can't cheat physics after all, but you can try to enjoy the process like the Germans do with their Porsche 911. For my eyes, all these photos are absolutely horrible to look at and I wonder why people are even using these bricks instead of dedicated street cameras like GR-III...
This video should send to Samsung
This guy brilliant 👏🏻❤
The kinda fair review i was looking for
This video inspired me to buy this phone. I saved money and bought it. Im happy!!
Thanks for the high quality video
Those who know their way around manual controls will have no issues getting shots they want!
great effort man, thanks.
Broo! I´m late, but your analysis was sharp!! Thanks for the well prepared material, you got my sub. Thanks again!
I took an S21 to my son's pre-k graduation. It was one of my bigger regrets of the year. Good videos, good zoom, dog food photos. They looked like smudgy oil paintings. Just ordered an S23U, against my better judgement. Hope it's, at least, a little better.
What do you think so far?
@@SofaKingA
It's a very good phone.
@@flawedhypothesis man I may be in the same situation soon. I may get iphone then.
I had both, they are almost identical. Shame on samsung.
You can use expert raw and totally control everything :D
14:20 leveling this image was such a relief :D
I do wish they would give us a dedicated shutter button. The feeling of a physical button is underrated and burried with all this hi tech gadget specs.
This would be a game changer and a dream come true!
Buy a Sony phone then.
S Pen :)
the best phone to take a moving photos is a Pixel. I used IP14pro but I tried my friends Pixel 6pro. That phone is a beast when comes to photography
Left apple for samsung s23 ultra and I don't regret it one bit lol!!!
Lol shame
good job.. Shame that many still prefer the walled garden Apple....
I’m trying to do the same, however, too many inconsistencies with the camera on the s23. I have it wrapped up and ready to send back in front of now, however, I keep looking at it wanting to give it another try.
I hate Apple and desperately want to leave, but in fairness, generally they do work better
I just hope Samsung Pushes for software innovation now One UI 5 was a big improvement
Superb video... looking forward for more videos like this bruh
Liar...
thanks for your feedback! that is really interesting to know your experience is different from mine. I do have scene optimizer turned on most of the time but will try prefer quality to see if it improves
I went back to my pixel 7 pro after a couple weeks. I'm basically just using my s23 ultra as a tablet now
Which one should i buy if I am considering the two of them?
Personally I'd buy the pixel. My reasons for that:
1) Better camera (for my taste...more true to life photos with great hdr and a lot of detail, able to capture moving objects much better)
2) Voice dictation is unmatched. If you use voice to text a lot, it's hands down the best.
3) smoother and more fluid UI
4) the phone app features: call screening, Hold for Me and Direct My Call. These features are amazing.
@JustinDufrene does pixel have secure folder ?
4:54 this is easily arguable a good photo.. For me the people on moped is blurred that kinda give the photo some depth and motion and layers . After all your phone camera was already focus in the back ground first.
It's just because it's not what Apple does with their cameras, so lemmings are used to thinking that anything that deviates from Apple is objectively "bad" because it's different.
Great work!!
Great effort 👌 appreciate that
A comment on your zooming in of the storefront in 50 mega.pixel mode at 3 times crop.
Would you suggest Pro mode RAW or Expert RAW?
Agreed on the blown out sky, doesn't help when you want to take landscapes when hiking
Pro mode raw and expert raw produce such different images it's really hard to compare the two. I would say use expert raw if you need the most dynamic range and HDR in the img
Nicely done , detailed video.
Great review. Is it just me or do you also find the main camera a bit difficult to shoot with due to its large view angle and you need to get really close to objects?
yeah personally I don't like how wide it is but that is probably just me being used to shooting with 35/50mm on full frame so I prefer a tighter crop
I have the S22 Ultra. I’ve often thought the photos are a bit overexposed. I’ve recently ordered the S23U. Guess I’ll find out is the S23U is an improvement…
Can you share what your presets are in Lightroom? I would love to use them for myself as well 😊💓
Great video👍🏼
I really like all your mobile camera review videos.
Love from India 🇮🇳
appreciate the support! unfortunately I don't have access to the base S23 but if I get a chance I will try to make a video on it
Is there anyway you can post a video detailing your preset "settings" that can adjust overexposed photos with S23U?
I have an ultra 23.
I wonder if you could do a video on the best settings for various conditions.
I really struggle in pro mode to know what settings (iso shutter speed etc) to use in these situations -
- Concerts
- sports
- rainy days
- sunny landscape
Plus any others??
I cant believe Samsung still hasn’t figured out HDR. And I really wanted to BUY this phone too.
Hi, I am an average consumer,
And yes I noticed photos are always flat and not always good looking unless it's in direct sunlight, but when I click on Edit and the magic wand icon, it changes that, also Remaster photo does a very good job fixing the flat effect.
Quality isn't affected even by 1% whenever I edit my photos
(S22 base model by the way)
@@DrAlyElashry oh, cool! i gotta check that out
@@NonBinary_Star I use when I feel that my photo sucks anyways, and it doesn't dissapoint me but I confused if they can fix any photos like that then why isnt it the default processing ? why do I have to take the photo and not like it then remaster it ????? XD kinda weird but usually my photographer friends say that they like it the way it is out of camera for me I like the remastered one along with all my non photographer friends
Damn, this is a good advertisement for your present system. Ended up getting it and I really like how it makes my pics look. The different presents remind me of taking analogue photographs on different kinds of film.
I don't have a sample, just saying that a lot of the things you want to be fixed are just personal preference and the settings are there for you to change them
The overexposure is how all their camera system does but I think it normal for users to reduce it to their preference
Good video dude
Watching on my s23 ultra
Nice review and such a cutie 😂❤
Great video
Great breakdown. Photography of Pixel 7 pro vs S23 ultra 🤔
Can't go wrong withs24 ultra its a more complete device
Hi Alex. Thanks for your video !! It helps a lot. Tell me, do I need to be premium user of Lightroom to use your Presets ?
Great video !!! I really need your setup .. what is the name of the calendar widget please 😮
keep it up bro..........
Thanks bro
The Camera Assistant shutter hack is worth checking out. So is the exposure advice. I have shot into the sun and created some serious UFO shsped lens flares! I don't have a native Samsung tool to remove them. Overall, I am impressed with this Camera/Phone. Some minimal editing and wildlife photography works well enough for UA-cam or maybe more. The thing about hiking trail wildlife...you find it when it finds you.
Click edit, 3 dots on the left then remove effect, you will find reflections eraser.
@@DrAlyElashry Thank You!!
SANSUG GALAXY S23 ultra é o melhor celular do mundo 🌎
If you take in pro mode and raw, you can change exposure in post
What is that calendar widget ypu have on your home screen. I really like it
I'm gonna be honest. I'm pretty sure you can hold the camera button down and it will capture as many photos until you let go.
Someone should give this guy the Xiaomi 13 Ultra to do a camera test and give some informative feedback. This S23 Ultra camera video was impressive.
So, what do You think, which one is better: S23Ultra or Xiaomi 13 PRO for a photography?
How come you didn’t use the pro photo for photos. You can try to reduce the blur with that since it’s a manual setting where you can increase the shutter speed. For 200 mp it’s off. My mirrorless does better but then thats a different camera than a phone camera. Still can’t beat my mirrorless regardless.
I do have one issue, on the Samsung, it keeps trying to auto edit my photo when I use the regular image and use the expert raw. It ruins it so bad by overexposing it. This is something that needs to be fixed. Wondering if there is a way to turn that off?
Nice review
Do u have the 8/256 or 12/512? What about pixel 7 comparison? Thanks a lot from Genova, Italy
Do you think that this camera would be good if I wanted to take pictures for large prints (such as 36x72) and keep the clarity?
I love my S23 Ultra, but it has one but very important cons - shutter lag! I hardly can understand why Samsung continue doing it for years... Why iPhone has correct algorithms of shutter work and can easily do great photos of moving subjects? I don't think that Samsung can't solve this problem but it is a big question why they don't do it yet...
You can adjust shutter lag in camera setting. There is option to take a picture immediately when you touch the button not when you realize it...
Shutter lag isn't the right term. Shutter speed seems to be what you're talking about.
Big difference.
@@rogerhitchner6962 maybe. But no difference in terms of result, photos are disgusting sometimes...
30% quality loss.
@@thepianocornertpc should i get an iphone 14 or s23. For content creation
Just pick s23u
Got both and both of them got pros and cons .. im using S23U more tho, since its more flexible and lacks mostly just in video which i dont care that much about.
Try to take pictures from 8k video and you get 33 mp pictures. If you take pictures while you recording you get only 9mp. If you wanna get best result use pro mode for 8k video. You can even turn off Auto fps and video stabilization for better result and you will get more dslr looking images. If you use regular auto mode for 8k it's more over exposed and over processed look
This is what you get if the hardware is capable but the software isn't really integrated to match it.
agree! the hardware is def there. minor software improvements can really put it over the top
