The introduction to the Phantom of the Opera... that's what I love Dickinson for! He doesn't just sing, he's a great story teller and suspense creator.
Great share. Excellent sound on Revelations throughout. It gets better the longer you watch. Just like the love of listening to Iron Maiden over the course of your life. I've seen them several times since the Powerslave tour with Twisted Sister as the opener. Bruce has held his own taking care of himself over the years really well. I salute all Iron Maiden fans wherever you may be. You know your metal! I'm in the US and we couldn't have a show this large for a metal band. Our people have horrible taste in music here. Our DJs feed them feces and they learn to love the taste of it. Thanks so much for sharing this! Excellent show!
Rene Garcia I hate Kiss. Always have! Something about them just rubbed me the wrong way or something. I grew up listening to Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Aerosmith, and the hard rock bands of the 70's and 80's. I saw Megadeth in December in Bethlehem, PA and they didn't quite sell-out the casino arena at full capacity. Saw Yngwie Malmsteen 3 weeks ago and it was about the same thing - weak crowd showing in a small theater. It sucks watching the US try and produce more metal bands yet fail to support them as South America and Europe do. Long live the metal!
Rudy Conforti Nop, Maiden are excellent but there are at least hundred better bands. Being most commercial does not mean being the best ! Only if you know a bunch of rock/metal bands you will mention Maiden as the best. By the way their best music was in the 80's and 90's. the last 5 albums sound the same and 3 guitar players is pointless.
I saw Maiden more than ten times, but it's weird to see them in daylight. Never feared the dark! Still a fantastic concert! Thanks for sharing, Herr von Bödenfeld!
I was supposed to see them again last year. Will be back in 2021 after two Waisted Years! Really can't wait. Their last show with the flying Hammersmith intro was one of the best rock shows ever that I saw!
How can one person have a bigger, more powerful and more impactful sounding voice than a WHOLE metal band?!?! Bruce defying logic still in his later years!! Up The Irons FOREVER!!
I remember back in the 80s this band toured their asses off. They worked tirelessly without any radio play. The artwork made you notice and peeked your interest, so you bought the record and never looked back. Probably the hardest working band that i can remember.
the newest song of all line up is fear of the dark from 1992 and the concert is in 2014. well is my favorite era, the golden years of maiden, up the irons! (y) maiden fans rise up
It's awesome watching Dave Murray play. After all these years and thousands of shows, he still has that classic smile and just LOVES playing the guitar live! I do hope I find something in life as passionate as he does playing his guitar in Iron Maiden; what an inspiration!!!!
Right?? Like imagine playing an instrument is just a hobby for you and it’s fun. Now you do that for a living playing with a band. I know it sounds obvious but man it would be a blast to do that for a living
No matter what the lineup changes Iron Maiden has had over the years they have always maintained their signature sound. I'm glad I got to see them live during all those years. Thank you for this. UP THE IRONS!!!!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!
What a kick in the nuts to witness a maiden show started with the thunderous moonchild, i got the chance to watch the song as an encore in somewhere back in time tour and it a was a kick in the nuts aswell. Powerful song with very dark cool lyrics.
7 th son of a 7 th son is a masterpiece album.. It really is.. I think it's one of their albums more in the shadows that should have more light on it. Them opening with Moon child hits it hard. I haven't heard that one in a while The rest of the band is holding notes, but freakin' Steve is smokin' that bass through the whole damn thing. Disclaimer: All statements above are not the opinions or works of Iron Maiden, their fans, or channel operators.
First time I saw them was at Hec Ed Pavilion in Seattle Number of Beast Tour with Girlschool. Thank you Iron Maiden for kicking fucking ass for 40 plus years now for all of us. Thank you.
Spoiler alert: he never can hear the crowd anyways, no matter how loud or massive, because they all wear earpieces with their clicks and backing tracks being played.
They must have played “The Trooper” a few thousand times since they released it it in 1983. But here it is more than thirty years later and they play it like it just came out - actually with even more fire than those early years. Everyone’s playing is top notch (and the tandem lead with Adrian and Janick is really cool), but it’s Bruce’s voice that’s even more remarkable. He’s running around all over the stage, singing lines that are difficult enough standing still, yet doing them flawlessly without so much as a single wobble in his delivery. He hits the highs even better than he did 30 years ago. And the vocal mix is great; Bruce’s voice booms with so much clarity and power across that massive gathering.
Live they play their songs a little bit faster than on the album. This makes it listen modern. And they play with 3 guitars that is what makes their music so powerful.
@@ThomasWitcher1895 I like a little faster pace live. But actually, they’ve been progressively slowing down the BPMs live over the years, particularly on the classic tracks. And the three guitar combo does sound great; Janick is an amazing guitarist. But no, it’s not the tempo or the three guitars. It’s the attack. They just attack the song here with such force and energy. They were certainly not tired of the track! The exceptional mix helps, as well.
Megadeth ? Nope , playing on the same place with no energy and crowd interaction. I love their music and I love going to their concerts but their live performances are not even close to best.
I talking about the actual music being played. Both play pretty flawless live. But ya I agree megadeath is boring to watch but to a musician watching they are spot on
Onur Yemişen arnig and you're the one that later watches it on UA-cam. Well, thank you very much! Just because we're not frenetically screaming our heads off, at every note played or move made doesn't mean that Eurpeans are shitty audiences. Wherever you come from: You have neither "invented" fun nor have you an exclusive right to define it. Have you even ever been to Europe? Or are you just judging from your profound UA-cam knowledge? Back in 1993 at Castle Donnington Monsters of Rock, my friend and I were lucky enough to bag a free ticket backstage (only the yellow band). Mr Dickinson wandered out and chatted with us until a reporter from a Virgin TV bus appeared and he told him to go away as he was talking to us. I've always remembered that Bruce. Good luck to you.
This is how you do it: with passion and energy and love for the music. Many bands already look jaded and disinterested after ten years. These guys look like they've just started and they're done this for nearly 40 years. Of course most bands don't have the privilege to hand pick their shows but still.
This band is so great.. Maybe i will cry like baby if someday later they've gone. Just listening thim every day gives me power. Few months age there's some sad news about Bruce, but now it's gone. But.. Somehow they're getting older and older.

Iron Maiden remain a dominant force even after all these decades. There are a few symphonic metal bands out there who may match them on complexity (you know who you are), but for basic heavy metal, Iron Maiden has no rivals in quality of music or in longevity. This will forever be the Gold Standard against which all rock and metal is measured.

Hatoakazo Well, despite the traditional trademark "Rock am Ring" this festival has become more like a pop/mainstream festival, especially in the last years. You still get a few good rock and metal bands there, but the lineup is mixed with many pop/electro/hiphop acts. So basically what you see there is a mainstream audience with many people who are not attending the festival to see bands like Maiden, with some who may not even know who Iron Maiden are. If would you go to real metal festivals like Party San, With Full Force, Headbangers Open Air, Summerbreeze or Wacken, you could see that great German crowds exist as well. But I agree South American crowds are the best, these guys are just crazy.
I just really will never understand why it is so difficult for camera switchers to grasp the idea of if there is a solo going on, LEAVE THE CAMERA ON THE SOLOIST!
When Doctor Doctor starts to sound, you know it's the begining of one of the greatest moment of your life!!

Best thing they did after Flight 666 was to "give back" the Moonchild 1st solo to Adrian! :)
What a sea of people! This must have been great!
seventh son of a seventh son.....masterpiece
Iron Maiden remain a dominant force even after all these decades. There are a few symphonic metal bands out there who may match them on complexity (you know who you are), but for basic heavy metal, Iron Maiden has no rivals in quality of music or in longevity. This will forever be the Gold Standard against which all rock and metal is measured.
La mejor banda de heavy metal una respetada máquina de metal larga vida al rock viva la doncella de hierro por los siglos
Of all the people in the audince, of course they manage to find Hellbutcher he he
One of my favourite concert!!! i love this set list.. there are some songs that i love too much!!! i've been very beautiful to see the concert in Italy in that tour (my first concert of Iron Maiden)... UP THE IRONS!!

El publico bien dormido.
You try to stand for five to ten hours in 35°C without shadow and no real space to sit down… even when it got dark it was damn hot.
claro, tiene un dvd de un concerto de mi banda favorita en argentina y el ambiente parece genial. pero todavía me divertí mucho a RaR por qué el concerto era muy muy bien ;)
*****
im greek and i went to last rock in rio in rio de janeiro, it was 40°c same 10 hours and the brazilian crowd was jumping and singing all songs, so germany crowd sucks!!! and south american audience rocks!!! i never see it before in european concerts
Hatoakazo
Well, despite the traditional trademark "Rock am Ring" this festival has become more like a pop/mainstream festival, especially in the last years.
Deccer Dec So is your English. Your grammar and vocabulary look like donkey shit.
So I follow Bruce's personal performances, but Iron Maiden is classical music as a whole. Good concert and quality picture and sound.
Excellent! Seventh son of a seventh son
Bravo pour cette magnifique video qui met en valeur Iron Maiden, le meilleur groupe du monde !
44:03 Phantom Of The Opera ¡¡¡Amazing!!!!!
Wish long life for the boys. That was an excelent concert. thx That pilot hat was perfect during the aces high song
Mann aquele scream do Bruce na Moonchild me arrepiou todo, mdss. Lenda Viva, Up the Irons!!!!
The opening music, the best ever
Adrian Smith singing and guitaring is all I need
The Smith-Kotzen album is something special
I just really will never understand why it is so difficult for camera switchers to grasp the idea of if there is a solo going on, LEAVE THE CAMERA ON THE SOLOIST!
And how do they get hired to film (real) concerts.
Annoying indeed...million fucking shots with the stage from 100 miles distance....
ESPERANDO ANSIOSO ESSA BANDA INCRIVEL NO NORDESTE DO BRAZIL, DE PREFERENCIA NO ARENA CASTELÃO...
Parece que você previu kkkkk
The perfect set! And the new album? These guys make perfect music.

Yeah that was amazing.
Way bad ass, makes ya wanna scream
Absolutely maximum, very very great.
Mehr geht doch wohl nicht.
Gerne noch ganz viele Jahre so geile Musik mit Iron Maiden.
I might be wrong, but I swear Bruce slips in “sick and tired of a seventh son” when he’s singing the seventh son of a seventh son chorus.
I cannot fucking wait for the Book of Souls tour. I am counting the days.
This is a Power music... killing amazing .4ever...THE guys are excellent musician..
