Yes it can easily. In fact the resolution depends on your mobile phone's camera resolution.

Most probably the default application for opening PDF files has been set to CamScanner. You can change the default application by going to Settings -> Applications -> Default Applications, and then select PDF Documents and change the default application to some other application.

Its not in gallery, it will in the document folder of your mobile's ROM. Go to file explorer and search for Documents folder, inside that look for CamScanner folder, the saved PDF will be there.

Your default app for viewing pdf has been changed to WPS Office. You can go to the Apps of your mobile and check default apps. There you can select default app for opening pdf file and then select CamScanner over there.

How to make pdf of gallery Photos

On the main page of the CamScanner app select 'Import Picture' . It will open the gallery and you can select multiple pictures from your gallery. Then click import button on the upper right corner. Adjust the image colors and cropping etc. and then click 'Tick' button. Now you'll see a PDF button at the top right side, click on it to make PDF.

Thank you very helpful, I had to turn in some work for an exam, I managed to send them in, but I wanted more clarity since my professor kept telling us to us the BATCH feature but on my android that's not a direct option.

Thank you for appreciating. Yes there is a batch mode as well. Just besides the Capture button, there is an option of 'Multiple Pages', select that to enter batch mode. Now you can capture multiple pages in one go, then click on the pages shown on the right side of the capture button to enter editing mode. In editing mode you can edit boundaries and later on colors of each captured page. Batch mode will save your time especially if you want to scan more than 3 to 5 pages.
