Dude I got so excited when I realized this video was from you. Your 14 hour tutorial really helped me learn Godot and paved the way for my learning and I actually wanted to base the style of my first tutorial off it. At least a bit of the techniques and methods you used like the challenges and the way you explained stuff along with splitting the video into several groups
You have shown many different underwater rocks that begginers bloggers could not see.

Thank you for the video. I have to make some video tutorial series for one of our company's offices and teach them CUDA programming. I was really frustrated with video and audio editing that I decided to re-record a whole 1 hour 40 minutes session... I noticed that I used "uumm" and "eeerrr" too often which was pretty annoying.

Great video! I use Davinci Resolve Fusion for motion graphics. It’s free and does almost everything, although the learning curve is steep.
do you write a script before recording
i am trying to make a video but i always keep going offtopic when i record
this video was scripted but my usual coding ones aren't (they're just too long). I do cut out a huge amount of stuff that's not relevant

Blender can be used as a free alternative to after effects for motion graphics. However, its workflow is ... takes some getting used to. The quality of this software is insanely good though and you can customize it a ton to fit your needs as well.

Thank you so much for detailed video, I would like to ask if you record your whole script separately and then record the screen later writing code as per Audio recorded ? Also please tell me do you write and read each and ever line beforehand including the coding part , or you speak whatever comes best to you in mind at the time of typing code on screen ?
I write the code while I speak. I am not terrible good at it though and need to edit out a lot (usually about 40%).

Did you talk first and then added the animations or did you create the video first and then recorded the audio?
I am making a tutorial where I am going to explain how the code works and also visualize the iterations and how things change memory etc.
I talked first and then did the animations. Although when you explain code you probably want to have some animations ready and the explain while it is playing. I suppose the best approach is to experiment a lot.

Only for some bits but it is very rare. For longer coding videos it is not practicable.

Then record your voice and use some video footage. You can record that videos with obs as well (videogame footage, for example)

I just need to know the basics. I want to know how to make a bad tutorial. I can easily figure out how to make a good one once I make a bad one. I just need the bare bones nuts and bolts. I haven't ever made a tutorial in my life. I don't need tips I need step by step instructions. Also my computer isn't all that great. i really just want to upload something. I think I can handle good audio if I can afford it. I have a microphone and I can figure out how to buy a good one if this one doesn't sound good. I'm sitting here looking for the record button on youtube. It would be nice if I could filter out the tutoials on how to make things well vs how to make things at all. Did youtube ever have a way to record a video? Or do you have to go live to do that? I bet it was a lot easier years ago. I uploaded something years ago. I'm just sick of watching bad tutorials. (Not talking about yours).
UA-cam never had a record button for videos (unless you count live streaming). You are basically supposed to make a video on your computer and then upload the final thing
