I was in the mood for my weekly smash burger… but wanted to try something different! I already had the @recteq_official DualFire going and figured why not see if this works!
Start by form 3-4 oz balls for your smash Pattie’s, and get them on the smoker for 25-30 minutes at 180-200°F. If your smoker can do 180, I’d let this smoke for 35-40 mins!
Then we can fire up the @recteq_official SmokeStone and smash these babies down! I seasoned them with a seasoned salt before flipping to show off that beautiful crust!
Top these off with the superior cheese for a burger, American, and let them melt! And if you are against American cheese… try @eatnewschool , you will absolutely change your mind!
Then I put these all together in the simplest form! Just a toasted bun, mustard, white onion, and pickles!
These were a hit, and the crust was next level! Try it out!

Thanks my friend! I’m a big fan of letting the ingredients shine and sometimes it’s easy to just overdo it! For experimenting I always try to keep it simple!
I do really enjoy the smoked smash burger method as the top tier choice right now! But honestly, a regular smash burger is just hard to beat!

Ketchup is not a great burger condiment unless it’s mixed with others! It’s too sweet and doesn’t honestly compliment the burger or any other flavors well! It’s fine to use, but there’s a good reason it’s not found on most quality burger!

@@John-gv7uc ther is onion which is mentioned and shown, and there is also plenty of cheese 😂 I don’t need to add inferior ingredients to make it juicy, just learn how to make a proper smash patty or ask for help if you don’t. But pretending like food you didn’t eat is dry is wild 😂
