There’s a reason why the ice cream machine always broken. The franchisees have to pay a certain company to repair it ( forgot their name also they bought the machine or rent it from them too) that company has investors from McDonalds. Franchiseeser cannot hire someone else to repair their machine cause it would violate contract of Mcdonalds and the other company. That company charges high prices to repair and maintenance to that machine. This affects franchisees profit margins so much that they decided not to repair it also this machine requires frequent repairs. I saw it at several news websites, youtubers, channels, and papers. And from legal youtubers ( such as legal eagle and emily debaker and many more) who addressed the lawsuit for right to repair.
Sounds valid reason, what I've heard is that it requires thorough cleansing regularly and many McD's just put them out of order because the employees don't want to/can't clean it at the moment. Another was turning them off for period of time, I think.
I've literally never in my life seen a Macdonald's with a broken machine. Might be because I live in Poland and we Europeans are actually reasonable about the repairs.
It's actually kind of stupid mcdonalds has ice cream at all. There are tons of other places to go for far superior icecream where I live. I do like to have the mcdonalds shake with my meal sometimes though.

9:20 Totally agree. There's a reason the '2 Cheeseburger' meal has been on their menu since before I was born (and I'm older than SungWon is). 10:45 I don't personally love the Filet-o-Fish (though I would totally smash one with no tarter cause I don't like it), but I can understand why SungWon would. If you were a kid who liked fish sticks (or things like that) growing up, that's basically what a Filet-o-Fish is, just on a bun with cheese and sauce. And like most McDonald's sandwiches it doesn't pretend to be high quality, it's junk and everyone knows it. But it's DELICIOUS junk. Not gonna lie, my favorite, my all-time stan burger, is the Double Cheeseburger. I order mine with bacon added because that is the single best sandwich you can get at a Mickey-D's. One of those, freshly made, is a freaking mouth-gasm. And every ingredient is in perfect proportion to the others. It's got just the right amount of everything, and even with bacon added, it's still cheaper than half their menu.
The filet-o-fish was designed for old people (and catholics). It's the only sandwich where the buns are steamed so so have mushy fish, cheese, mushy bun, and tartar sauce you have a sandwich that even someone with no teeth could enjoy!

It needed to be said. People always rag on McDonalds for being the scum of fast food. But they make some satisfying burgers. People hate that they like McDonalds.
One of my favorite things in these videos is occasionally when your friends or Anne-Marie tape you. I dunno it's just like "ooh this day was a hang out day :D" or just the camaraderie of them helping you out is nice.

I like that you used the term 'lost in the sauce' so literally. So wholesome lol
The thing with McDonalds fries is they are AMAZING when hot and fresh, and abhorrently disgusting when cold lol
And they still taste awful if you reheat them, even when using an oven. Eat them at the restaurant or in the car lol
They definitely taste gross when they get cold. Much better when hot and fresh
I used to eat the triple cheeseburger when I lived in Vietnam and it remains my favorite McDonald’s item. So good!
Came here to say that's our standard order. Best meat to toppings and bread ratio, for sure.
It’s really amazing to see how consistent their food is around the world
Classic cat move. Nice scratching post a foot away, and the cat's like "Nahhhh, I'll just use the couch."
This is a historical moment for the ProZD shirt collection
I like the Bowser one!
He gave filet o fish S. He is a man of culture.
Singlehandedly convincing everyone watching this to get McDonald's today
It's weird I watched this.... and I just had a craving... So i acted on that craving and went for tacobell lol
Im glad he ate mcdonalds today so i didnt have to 💀
I got it the day before this came out so I'll pass for the next few weeks
Ironically, watching this made me want to get Bojangles. It's literally not even closer but I just had McDonald's a few days ago and I feel like I can only really go there once in a blue moon nowadays.
As someone who can no longer eat fast food of any kind, and loved McDonald’s… this is as fun to watch, but crushed my soul 🥹❤️🍔🍟 I miss McDonald’s so fckin much
The quarter pounder class became S tier when they started making them more fresh. It takes longer but it's worth it.
yeah, if you get the deluxe with no salt it's really *chef's kiss*
I love how you started filming these standing in the kitchen
You are the best food critic on the planet. Would love it if you compared a bunch of the same kind of food item from different brands. Like every sour cream and onion chip or every grape flavored candy. Thanks and great work!
“The most iconic item: the apple slices.” 😂😂
Fun fact: if he had held onto all these items instead of eating them, and sold them today, they would be worth $500,000
I have been rewatching all the older videos and you come up with this gem, grateful as always for your valiant sacrifice 🙏🏻
Once I realized that you can ask for no salt on the burger, it was a slight game changer... If only because I eat there almost every day cause of distance from work, and the mcdouble/sm fry deal is within budget.
This is the TRUE McDonald's menu "hack"!
It's my goal in life to one day own an officially licensed Ronald McDonald bench. Just wanted to share that with all y'all.
Every so often those hamburger stools pop up on eBay so it’s not impossible!
May your dreams come true bro
Homie aim higher lol
With or without Ronald?
Honestly a worthy endeavor. Best to you friend. 🍔
I genuinely love that you made this video because I order the same two things from mcdonalds and never change. You did the same thing for me and steak quesadillas at taco bell which I had never tried before your TB video
Loved the quick editing on this one. Also nice having some back and forth with your wife.
@@tappajaav not that employees don’t want to repair or clean its more like they can’t. It takes a ID from that company technician to clean it. Without scanning the ID you can’t do anything.
@@spOOkytimes I mean me personally I love Mcflurries and I can enjoy a nice soft served cone or hot fudge sundae every now and then. I’m just a big ice cream lover so 🤷♂️
Groceries: Ketchup, Dish Soap
Double Cheeseburger while drunk is the best drunk-food item ever, hands down.
@@imadetheuniverse4fun PREACH
i love seeing an actual actor barely try in an ad lmao
I also love the filet-o-fish. Its so simple but for some reason SO good!
“No breakfast items.” But the hashbrowns are one of the best items.
The filet-o-fish was designed for old people (and catholics). It's the only sandwich where the buns are steamed so so have mushy fish, cheese, mushy bun, and tartar sauce you have a sandwich that even someone with no teeth could enjoy!
"Ice cream tastes good, you don't need me to try six of them."
My man.
I thought I would be grossed out but he does such a good job giving reason enough for his ratings so I actually ended up feeling like McDonald’s haha. I haven’t had it for about 4 months
11:50 is McDonald's in a nutshell lol
I do not even like tomatoes normally, but I definitely agree with you about them adding something to fast food sandwiches.
All I'm learning is that this man loves his McDonalds
Your future cardiologist is going to see the title of this video and say, "OK, I think I see the problem here."
I love that you like the dollar hamburger, it's been my go to for years. the texture of the patty hits different from anything else
I appreciate that you spread this out over multiple days instead of just wasting a bunch of food and making yourself sick. Great video!
Glad he S- tier'd the file-o-fish. Underrated
overrated. filet o fish is nasty as hell. ate one and threw up.
@@glennquagmire34 Its definitely very hit or miss. I dont know anyone who thinks its just "ok". Either people love it or hate it.
Me personally, definitely love it.
Weaning myself off of fast food so I’m living vicariously through you SungWon! Love a regular cheeseburger with a small or medium fry with a Hi-C even as an adult. Just as a little something to snack on. Their nuggets are fine, but I like drowning them in that classic tangy bbq sauce and pretending their boneless wings personally. Their cookies are nice too! Love their overly salted fries more than life itself. Time to make another protein shake and watch your Oreo video next!
Fried ketchup is the most accurate way I have ever heard the McDonalds flavor described.
"I like icecream, icecream tastes good." That's as much review as I needed on icecream lol
Icecream tastes great but it’s a shame to even compare it to mcdonalds disgusting so called “ice cream” ._.
@@ImNoah cause their ice is yoghurt based for it to not melt so fast?
Its hard to compare with warer/milk based icecream
@@ForumcoldiArchon no because they use worst quality ingredients and chemicals. This already makes the ice cream taste weird but all the artificial flavors they pump into it it just tastes like dissolved chewing gum mixed with cream :/
Oh and it’s way to sweet
The fact that you rated a plain ass hamburger a B+ shows how addicted you are to McDonald's 😂
Loll i like the little korean sign on your whiteboard
"Dont look at me
Dont talk to me
Don't touch me"
The apple pie is now baked instead of being fried at McDonalds which is why it was probably less crispy than you remembered
The McDonald's breakfast items are totally worth it! Please try them out, either in a stream or in a video 🙏
Agreed, Filet o fish is the most underrated mcd's item. I love when they got deals on em.
I love their 2 for $5. I get so many of them. Honestly the only issue I have with them is their normal price, if they were cheaper normally, they would probably be all id ever get lol.
His friends: How do you spend your money and free time
ProZD:
The juxtaposition of this with the caviar episode is hilarious to me. I love mcdonalds though!
I worked there when I was a teenager, and McDonald's patties are so salty because the employees put the salt/pepper seasoning blend on after the patties are cooked. Some have a heavier hand than others. It is possible to ask for no salt on them if that is something you need/want.
I'm astounded how you can do these videos and not have a mitral valve prolapse when it's all done, I salute you sir
He does it day by day, not all in one day
@@DerpliciousDerek no shit but still
it's not like there's anything specific about this that would give you a heart attack over eating a lot of anything else. he takes like 1-2 bites from each item anyway.
Who are these people who “wouldn’t think a slice of cheese would make a big difference on a burger”?
Isn’t that like the number one thing that changes a burger?
I swear to god if me thinking mcdonalds is bland plastic is because I've started eating them without cheese due to my lactose intolerance...
I tend to not really care for McDonald’s unless I get a craving for their breakfast. The Sausage Egg n Cheese McGriddle is just great
McDonald's breakfast has always been top-tier for fast food!
Bro, the way you took the bite of the Quarter Pounder w/Bacon was so stereotypical anime girl eating, I love it.
It needed to be said. People always rag on McDonalds for being the scum of fast food. But they make some satisfying burgers.
People hate that they like McDonalds.
Well... this confirms to me that SungWon needs to actually vlog. These types of taste tests are even more fun than the other ones :D
This is like the super size me documentary but with no medical checkups
Sungwon legit sounded like he was doing an impression of himself during the sponsored segment at the beginning lol
One of my favorite things in these videos is occasionally when your friends or Anne-Marie tape you. I dunno it's just like "ooh this day was a hang out day :D" or just the camaraderie of them helping you out is nice.
The $1 McChicken and Cheeseburgers were my go-to items in college. So cheap that you can order 2 or 3 and still so satisfying
its so sad that mcchickens are like 2.19 now
Did you ever do the thing where you take apart a mcdouble and stick a mcchicken in the middle?

I truly appreciate Sungwon reducing his life expectancy for our viewing pleasure.
My elementary school used to serve the McDonald’s dollar hamburger on some Wednesdays on some weeks (the other Wednesdays were weinerschnitzel and something else I can’t recall) so the McDonald’s dollar burger really gives me nostalgia even though it’s so shitty but I can’t eat it anymore because it’ll send me to the hospital. I used to love the filet o fish. But the last time I tried it a few years ago, it tasted so fake and chemical-like to me, it wasn’t how I remembered it…
Background music is S tier, reminiscent of Super Mario Sunshine music
I'm so used to seeing Joshua Weissman shit on McD and fast food in general. It's so great to see someone on my level who says "it's good actually".
I mean, Joshua looks at things like "oh of course I can do that better, maybe cheaper/faster, but I first just need to just so happen to have all the ingredients, kitchen appliances, time, skills, and willpower to do so", while realistically, you either break even with healthier/fresher ingredients, or just gain the satisfaction of making something yourself.
It's not "bad" per se, mayyybe a little elitist(?) on his side. I mean, c'mon, how many people are gonna have the time, energy and means of recreating a friggin' big mac at home, personalized meat and buns included?
Joshua be like: I spent 2 hours making this burger, let's see if it's better than the one I got from Mcdonalds 3 hours ago!

aww, i'd argue that breakfast is the best thing they do. Although the fresh beef now on the 1/4lber definitely improved it a lot!
my go-to is the quarter pounder :)
Agreed. Sausage burritos are my favorite thing on their menu. I was so sad when they announced they weren't bringing back all day breakfast.
@@2-d_in_a_bag He correctly noted that most of the burgers are a tad too salty (practically perfect for what they are otherwise of course). The hack is to order it on the mobile app and hold the salt :)
