I made the smash burger taco about 2 weeks ago and everyone loved them. So, today I said was going to make again and someone suggested adding McCormick taco seasoning (mixed in hamburger) and for the cheese used taco cheese made with Monterey Jack and seasoned with taco seasoning. they came out delicious. I have a new favorite in the house. 😋
I made the smash burger taco today for dinner with one packet of McCormick taco seasoning, and sauteed onions and garlic. Oh my word. Served it with lettuce, tomato, beans, guacamole and salsa. It was so good!
Mmmmmmm, Wow, they all looked fantastic, now I'm starving. I'm going to try all of them. They all looked absolutely delicious. Keep your videos coming there fantastic. You guys are great.
Neal they all look delicious 👍 for sure I'm going to make some. They look like tostadas only difference they are not corn tortillas. But definitely like your idea with the flour tortillas. Great recipes Neal👍. Enjoy your videos👏
My dude your videos are always banging. Pretty much watch everything you put out love your ideas and have tried a bunch of them out myself. I hope you continue to grow and have success because you are really awesome at this always very informative and incredible content! Keep it up man!
Those looks wonderful. I think the Mexican could be my favorite and only because I’m not huge pizza eater and I don’t eat breakfast and kinda tired of traditional smash burger but they all look so beautiful and tasty!
YYYUUUMMMYYY!!! This is my 1st visit to your channel and am SUPER HAPPY I found it. These ALL look sooo DEEE-LICIOUS!! I dig your personality and am looking forward to watching and enjoying many more vids. New subbie for sure. Arlene
Made your muffin pancakes this morning for the kids (birthday cake) with whataburger breakfast sausage. Our new way for making pancakes for sure. Amazing recipe! If you get a chance to try Malcom Reed’s How to BBQ Right Gringo seasoning, I highly recommend. It’s our go to Taco seasoning.
That was a really cool video Neil. Smashed Taco's , who'd a thunk it??? They did look good for sure. Thank you and Amy for sharing with us, stay safe and keep the good videos and fun rolling around there. Fred.
Well I did my 1st smash burger cook this Saturday on my blackstone. Learned I was over cautious with the heat (not hot enough to create that sear)... next time. But it still came out good. Your Smash It seasoning brought it over the top!!
Hey thats whats its all about ....learning as you go...next time you will get it...Thanks for the seasoning...glad you like it...Actually had the family over today and made about 30 burgers....seemed to go over really well...
The variety on these was amazing. And inspiring. You could do a trip around the world: mexican, Italian, greek, Asian - here's a challenge for you - German! Something with kraut, onions, sausage, a nice creamy horseradish sauce. I'm just winging it here. You're the King. Or a trip around the US. East coast lobster, Midwest beef or Buffalo, Great lakes walleye,, Louisiana shrimp or crawfish, southwest or tex-mex chicken, West coast fish tacos with slaw, Alaskan king crab, etc. The possibilities are endless.
Wow, I first thought the Italian would be best, then as you got closer to the final build, all four choices are super and will be tried. Love the various sauces you created and how easy you made them look. Recipe download next up. Got your spices and putting them to use, fantastic flavor. Well done to you both.
He really did refer to the 1st as a "traditional style smash taco" I love that we live in a time where a Smash Burger Taco is considered something traditional lol. I would eat all 4.
Great job and tips 👍, like the variety to, my daughter takes a tortilla press with 3oz ground beef and flattens it, got the 6" flour tortillas and added toppings for quesadilla smashburger, should try it, we are obsessed with burgers and Mexican flavors so tacos will be a hit, tyvm
I loved all four (ok, except the one with cilantro. It tastes like soap!), but that pizza taco looked intriguing. I make a "pizza" with a low-carb tortilla for a low-carb option for pizza. Yours "smashes" it out of the park! Thanks for the ideas.
Oh and BTW...I've recently become obsessed with bahn mei sandwiches, have been watching a ton of videos and every time I see someone do the protein, I'm like yoooo, Neal would rock that on the flattop!!! It seems like you and Amy like Asian flavors and you're the sandwich guy, would love to see a video with your twist on it!!
We eat Tex-Mex all the time, but it looks fire. But, I'd have to go with the Italian. And if only there was a way to incorporate those eggs in with the Italian....
You do this so smoothly, My Blackstone on low cooks so fast that I feel like I'm in a race cooking most things. Even though I do all my prep work first, I still need to work on my speed.
Made the big mac smash burger tacos a few weeks ago and they were amazing. Today, I made a similar version with ground chicken (seasoned with ranch seasoning), pepper jack cheese, shredded lettuce, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing drizzle. You have to try it out!
What I find interesting is that you're basically giving us the secrets to success, for FREE. Ingredients, amounts, timing, everything. Instead of saying, "Hey, pay me xx dollars and I'll show you how to be successful." Thanks for another great video that gives me the confidence to try these on my own flat top, which I definitely will.
@@TheFlatTopKing I made the smashburger tacos this weekend complete with homemade pico de gallo and lime cilantro sour cream, and they were fabulous! Totally going in the rotation.
Pro move using the tortillas! I will be making those for sure! Did an experiment last night with both of your seasonings with wagyu flat iron steak and wagyu skirt steak from my buddies ranch in Texas. 🤤🤤🤤😮💨. I’ll post it later!
The italion for dinner tommorow. I just made tacos and have a couple torillias left over and this will be perfect. I just made pepperoni and pizza sauce so I am all set.
So in the middle of the griddle you have that “steel”kinda shining through in few spots. Mine has the same and I’ve used a few times only. Reason for that? Am I scraping the seasoning off when I clean it? Will re seasoning fix it? Tacos look great btw Thanks.
Brotha, you just pulled off a “Super Hat Trick” 🫡 ✊🏼🧐 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👌! You took a trending cook and absolutely knocked it out the park. SUPER AWESOME episode. Shoot, aint nobody going to reach this level of smashed taco’s…let me tell you! Cheers Y’all 👊🏼😎🤙🏼

I was going to say something but you said to sit down 😂. JK. I literally made beef and chorizo tacos on Tuesday. Could have tried this. Definitely will now 🙌🏻❤️
Spread the meat over the tortilla first cover ever single inch of the tortilla, meat down over the grill 2-3 minutes flip over for 1 min add whatever you want enjoy
How about a chicken parm version using chicken sausage, maybe skip the breading and let the maillard reaction be the crust? Do you think that would work? Nice job.
Well a few things...I did use American on the burger...I also used shredded cheddar on the Mexican one...not sure i understand...American cheese on a burger is kinda classic. It also takes cheddar to make American cheese. Literally in video cheddar was used.
